Communication is not so great. I scheduled a day that the lift was free and I get there and it wasn't free so they couldn't diagnose my car properly. It was actually my second time out four times going that I had this is issue. But the service has been great thus far.

I brought the BMW in to have GUS look it over, change the oil and recharge the AC. I paid the bill and as i was walking out to the car, Gus stops me and explains all of the work he did and reviewed the codes that were cleared. I purchased a used C-Class from a dealership in Aurora which I anticipated would need some maintenance work. I took the car to Mercedes but the estimates were astronomical. I took the car to Gus to replace the oil pan gasket but when he saw the car, he said let's put the gasket on hold and deal with the more serious issue. Turns out the car had more issues than I anticipated (or was led to believe) - one of which could have caused me to have a serious accident. With the cold winters approaching my original batteries in my BMW X1 needed to be replaced. I got a quote from the dealership but looking at OEM battery parts it didn't make sense the prices they were charging. I went to Yelp to roll the dice to find a local reputable mechanic and I luckily stumbled upon Gus based on other reviews. Every review was dead on and it's not surprising that Gus has a 5 star rating. He told me the job would take an hour and completed it before the hour. We also chatted briefly and Gus is a very approachable guy and I now consider him first for my car repair

Outstanding service! I had my car in another shop off and on for 3 months and had spent $3000 trying to get my car fixed. I got a recommendation from a coworker to go to Gus. In the shop once and even stayed late to get it done, and now my car runs better than when I bought it. I will be bringing all my cars to Gus in the future. Gus has always provided the highest quality service when working on my car. He is affordable compared to dealers and does just as good of work. He's a personable, honest guy that is always willing to take the time to explain things to you- nothing in the nature of trying to get you to fix unneeded things like dealers. I could not be more pleased with the service I get for my 2006 BMW X3 with Gus! I had been taking my vehicle to the dealership for repairs and it was so expensive (never under $2000) I was contemplating getting rid of the car entirely (i.e. monthly car payment for a new car)! A friend from work recommended I look into having it serviced with Gus. He did the repair AND he assessed the vehicle on the first visit and gave it an overall clean bill of health, so now I will keep the vehicle for a couple more years and let Gus handle anything that pops up!

Shortly after I bought a 6 year old '09 German sports car a year ago I started looking for a reliable shop to do the periodic maintenance it needed. I ultimately chose Gus's shop already had several very positive customer reviews, it was already an easier choice. But I must say that my experience with Gus was exceptional. If I could give him 10 stars I would! You will NOT be disappointed!

Gus is Awesome!!! A friend of mine was looking for a mechanic for her 05 BMW X3 so I asked a few friends and they recommended Gus. So I read the reviews and sent her the information. Before she even dropped the car off he was getting as much information about her problem as possible. After he got the car and figured out the problem he sent her a text message with a video to show her the problem. We picked it up last night and he kept the old part to explain even further!!! They are VERY nice at this location. When I bought my Mercedes I was looking for a reputable shop to take my car to so I don't have to pay stealership prices. The rates are reasonable and the work is very good as well. They are very honest and will tell you exactly what you need without the fear of getting ripped off.

Hands down will never take my cars to anyone else. I first met Gus on a whim...drove past his shop in my E430 quite a few times, noticing the specialization in Mercedes and BMW. I had already received a quote from the dealer for a $800 repair. Gus took one look under the hood and was appalled that they tried to charge me what they did. He made the repair in front of me in less than 15 minutes. From then on...and over the past 8 years, he continues to be the absolute best mechanic I have ever dealt with. I was referred to Gus by a friend for some work i needed on my MB E-500. From the start, Gus was honest, upfront about the car. He is so knowledgeable about it, its almost as if he designed and built the car himself. I've recommended him to friends. I've had it in his shop for a couple of issues and they always get taken care of. I wouldnt take my car to anybody else but Gus. An outstanding business man who knows his stuff.

If you own a VW, BMW, Mercedes, or almost any German Import you know the labor is very pricey, and you usually will have to take it to the dealers who try to rip you off 99% of the time. However, Gus's auto repair is a truly legit very very friendly and honest business. Guss is a very talented no 'B.S.' mechanic who straight up tells you what needs to be done to fix your vehicle and gives you a very fair price!
