The road that led me to Clark's Car Care began when I was an 18-year-old college student majoring in accounting. I got a job as a part-time porter washing cars and doing odd jobs at a car dealership. I enjoyed the automotive business and eventually went on to work in almost every department - detail, parts, car sales, finance - and ultimately, I left school and settled in the service department.
We offer a FREE Community Car Care and Safety Clinic to groups in order to educate the community about things they don't teach you in Driver's Ed class! Clinics can be done on-site or off site. Clinics last 1 to 2 hours depending on need and amount of questions asked (we get a lot!). We are good for any group of teens, elderly, women's groups, etc.

I normally never write reviews but I'm happy to do one for Clark's Car Care. I have been going to Clark's for the past five years for maintenance and repairs. Without fail, their entire team has been accommodating, professional, kind and compassionate while providing second-to-none, high-quality services. I was recently in a very challenging situation 100 plus miles from home when my vehicle suddenly stopped running. Beware! I took my-car and my son's car here for years. Both older cars so I gave them plenty if business. Never EVER had a repair bill under $1,000.00. It just seemed very odd to me that repair bills were consistently $1,000 to $2,000. Finally got sick of it and started taking both cars to Johnny & Frankie's and OMG! The difference is night and day. Repair bills immediately cut in half. First time I took it there I was told my car did not need half the repairs that Clark's was going to charge for. Took my car in because I had failed emission, Clark's being the second opinion or estimate. Joey gave me a quote for the part and labor, the part was to arrive 2 business days later. Over the next two days the dash check engine light never lit up again. Still took it in and told Joey of this. He checked diagnostics and sure enough, it showed clean. They took the car to the emissions locale just next door and it passed. They could have just kept the car and just say it was done and charged me for it, yet showed me integrity and high customer service and how all this was taken care of. So, if

I should have written this ages ago. I visited Clark's to get a used car inspection, ended up buying the car, and was a regular customer for a couple of years until I moved out of state. This is an old school local shop that still values things like honesty and integrity. Joey has been nothing short of great, listing out every detail, never recommending any unnecessary work, and always ready to help out in person, or over the phone. Year after year, Clark's provides exceptional service at legitimately fair prices.
I genuinely used to dread putting my car in the shop. I never knew if the service the mechanic recommended was actually necessary or if the price was unfairly inflated. My husband and I found Clark's Car Care about 6-7 years ago, and we'll continue to use them for all our vehicle needs. (It must be true since I forgot I already wrote them a 5-star review over two years ago! We actually lived in Wheaton at the time. So we went way out of our way to take our cars to Clark's.)

I called to see if I could get my vehicle In for an oil change at last minute this morning and I was told that they were booked with appointments today, but if I was able to, I could still drop my vehicle off and they would still be able to perform an oil change and they would call me when it was done. My vehicle was done in less than 2 hours! That is good customer service! When I went to pick up my vehicle, everything that they had done was shown to me and explained to me. I will defiantly continue to take my vehicle to Clark's and only Clark's going forward!

As a recent purchaser of a VERY used car, I am thrilled to have found such a reasonable and considerate car care place! The experience from start to finish (literally - they even left me a voicemail the next day thanking me and wanting to see if everything was working ok!) was great. I brought in my car for an oil change and to replace a break light and I thought their services were very reasonably priced. They let me leave my car there overnight and put my keys in their lock box as I couldn't get there until after 5PM.

Came here since my car didn't pass the emission test and I'm glad I did! Was taken care of by Jason who went over every detail and was extremely helpful and professional. My personal experience with Clark's was flawless. I brought two cars in for oil changes, trans and pwr steering fluid flush, and one car for replacement of struts. The quality of service was perfect, the staff is completely professional and extremely personable, and I felt the trust when my vehicles were assessed. I can't say enough wonderful things about Clark's Car Care. I brought my 2006 Volvo in last week with a transmission issue. I was prepared for the worst, however Joey and the team did a diagnostic and discovered that they could fix it by replacing a failed sensor and changing the transmission fluid. Not only did they save me a boatload of money, they earned my trust. I'm now a Clark's customer for life!

I am livid! My best friend was told last week her front brakes were "unsafe". They were fine. The front brake pads, upon my inspection, had well over 50% life and we're not anywhere near "needing immediate attention."
Unneeded brake jobs are one of the most common scams auto mechanics pull.
