Dr. Jacobson earned his Bachelors degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the prestigious Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Jacobson has a passion for community public health and has also earned a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH).
He has been involved in many community outreach programs including a humanitarian trip to Cartagena, Colombia taking part in providing free dental work to over a 1,000 underprivileged residents. He has also helped the oral health of homeless men and women in the Union Rescue Mission. Dr. Jacobson is a highly trained dentist who specializes in implant, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry to restore oral appearance and function.

Services
Both crowns and most bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable devices such as dentures, which you can take out and clean daily, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist. A crown is used to entirely cover or "cap" a damaged tooth.

If your tooth has more than just a small amount of decay, it does not necessarily mean that you need to get a full crown. Inlays and Onlays present a more conservative option, fitting into a tooth similar to a filling. Onlays are used for larger areas of decay to restore one or more cusps or corners of a tooth.

I had an appointment with Dr. Michael Jacobson to replace a 35 year old bridge. I found this office in a dental list provided by my employer and selected Dr Jacobson based on his reviews. Wow, as I think of all the comments, every one of them was a true depiction of Dr. Jacobson and his assistant. His office was extremely clean and organized. He goes out of his way to make sure all your questions are answered and he gave me more than enough time at each meeting to ask any new questions. First off, he is a perfectionist. He does not consider his job finished until every last bit is in its correct place. He is also very honest, he never suggested any unnecessary arrangements for the bucks. He stuck to his word. Also, his consultation was completely free of charge!
The total price was exactly what I expected for 5 veneers and one crown. He gives temporaries for two weeks, for you to add any changes before you get permanent veneers. This allowed me to get the most satisfaction

I'm so happy I was recommended Dr. Jacobson. I cannot say enough good things about the practice. The office was immaculate and equipment seems very up to date such as their quick digital x-rays.
Dr. Jacobson was super thorough and explained every detail of his work to me including why one thing would work better than the other. He answered all my questions and his work was pain free. I don't think I have ever had that experience at a dentist.
One other thing I can't miss saying is Daniel, his assistant, was the most professional healthcare worker I've ever encountered.

A friend recommended Dr. Jacobson to me, and I am so grateful that he did. When I was younger I chipped my front tooth and I've been insecure about it my whole life. Growing up, I went to countless dentists to fix it but I was never happy with the results. Every time I would get it filled / bonded, you could always see the lines, separations, and discoloration where it was chipped. Fantastic staff. Had a special opportunity to receive their services. They're exceptionally affordable in a very prime location of Los Angeles, not to mention they're very generous in every step of providing services. Robertson dental is an amazing dental practice. Dr. Jacobson is a great dentist who really knows what he's doing. I am a dental student right now and I shadowed him for a day. I learned a lot about the profession and how to provide quality, individualized patient care. His patients constantly seem happy with him when they leave. I called and set an appointment for consultation, the front desk ( Mina ) was so helpful and very nice. Very on time service and it was a great experience!

His staff was friendly and attentive to me from the moment I walked in. Most importantly, Dr. Jacobson was so gentle, professional, and informative about everything he was doing. I never thought I would say this ...... But I actually enjoyed going to the dentist yesterday! Dr Jacobson and his staff were beyond warm, caring, compassionate and gave me an overall excellent dental experience. This was my first experience with this office and I had gone in for a cleaning and check up but end up needing to replace a very old filling with a new crown. In 1 1/2 hours my exam, cleaning and temporary crown were all done! Can't wait to go back next week to pick up my beautiful porcelain crown! I highly recommend Dr Jacobson if you are looking for a sweet, caring and young dentist

Walked into Dr. Jacobson's office as a new patient and left as a patient for life! He is so kind, honest and professional, as well as his wonderful and friendly staff. I used to be anxious going to the dentist, but that's all changed. My family tells me I look and feel more confident with my new bright smile :)
