UPDATE: The new management company is just as bad as the last one. This place keeps getting worse and worse; trash all over the property and no response to any of my work orders. You will seriously regret it if you sign a lease here!
This has been the worst apartment I've ever stayed at... They will find ways to scam you out of more money every month. There are a lot of low income people living here and we've had issues with suspicious people and even vandalism to my car. The staff could care less and didn't even bother contacting me about either incident.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Units broken, walls are paper thin. You won't sleep.
Moving here was the worst mistake I've ever made. The unit reeked of smoke upon moving in. The scent was so strong that I was shocked the property management company would have allowed anyone to move into the unit. The AC unit in the master bedroom didn't work for almost 2 weeks until someone finally came to replace it. The dishwasher was broken for a month because maintenance is understaffed and I was told I wasn't a priority.

We've been living at The Clayson for a few years. The building/unit has its issues (we have an unmodeled unit) but what apartment building doesn't? I've been lucky to work with Melissa Connell as my main point of contact in issues with repairs and rent. I recommend her highly. She always gets back to me with answers to my questions and has worked with me during the pandemic when situations arise.

When we first moved here management was horrible never fixing anything when called they were not on top of things, they promised upgrades on things and it never happened, when the new managers took over I can say things did get a lot better they were a lot more on top of things when u needed things fixed overall not a bad place to live… The rent can get up there though.

I really am in love with my new apartment. It’s beautiful and clean. There were a couple minor fixes at move in I found needing done (securing the balcony better and fixing a closet door that was off the track). 10 am the day after we moved in maintenance was here and fixed it immediately.
Parking is tight but there’s not been a day I haven’t been able to park by my building. They do an excellent job keeping unauthorized vehicles from taking up parking.

I've been here two years and really have no complaints. The office staff is always kind and courteous whenever I call or stop by. My son recently moved out, so I created a series of work orders to get things done and the requests were completed promptly and the guys were professional and polite. I'm very happy with the ongoing upgrades from the newly paved parking lots to the laundry facilities. The Clayson is far better than many complexes that I've lived in.

Lazy team, old buildings with multiple fluid from the Landry rooms every week , and the dirty water inters to the apartments causing dirty smell. Our kids became sick from this bad smell. bad service, very expensive apartments with no reason. Old air conditioning that doesn’t work, and they want to replace them as a damage items when you leave. Very old dishwasher and fridges. They remodel their apartments by taking money from their previous clients. DONOT DEAL WITH THE CLAYSON

My front door didn't work for the first 5 months I lived there. The neighbors "yard"was a huge mud puddle that The Clayson refused to fix until they moved out, causing mosquitoes to be a huge issue for all of us for the entire summer.

Luxury apartments my @ss! Bait and switch is more like it. They show you a fancy clubhouse, and an updated model unit and then the reality hits when you move in that you've been lied to. They paint old kitchen cabinets and put on new hardware, old appliances, and when one breaks they replace it with an older one that's used and filthy, cheap… fixtures. This is NOT luxury! Noisy neighbors, loud music, loud tv's, screaming children, hallways reek of pot. Can never find parking after 6pm. Building entrance door is always left open. That is a safety issue. And they don't do anything about it

I started with a one bedroom apartment in the beginning of August. This month we moved across the hall to a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom apartment. New floor, floorboards, entire new bathroom, new paint, new appliances etc. Sure it doesn't have in unit washer-dryers or anything super fancy but for the price you really cannot beat this place. Staff has always been accommodating and super helpful as well! I've experienced none of the negative things that others are talking about. would recommend!

BUGS! I just put in for my fourth exterminator spray in two months. Centipede looking bugs infested in my bedroom. Ants coming from under the wall floor boards in my kitchen. When I moved in the place wasn’t even cleaned, just had dead stink bugs all over the place. I don’t feel comfortable sleeping in my apartment anymore and I have to look for… bugs every time I come home. This morning I woke up with bites on my legs.
Waited 5 months for a screen door to be put in because they kept forgetting or it was brushed off. They can’t keep maintenance staff is what I was told

My roommate and I moved in around a month ago. The Clayson staff has been wonderful about responding to any of our work orders or questions VERY quickly. Both work orders that we have placed have been answered in less than 24 hours. We had an emergency and needed help unlocking our apartment and they were there in 5 minutes. Plus, they've been taking great care of the property and providing brunch and other fun events for everyone. Highly recommend!
