If you can avoid living here I HIGHLY recommend it.
This complex is crawling with BED BUGS. They tried to say we brought the BED BUGS with us from our last complex but we moved from their sister location Lincolnshire (so if we did they would've called us to tell us they found BED BUGS when cleaning) and when we moved to Eco Park we discovered BED BUGS two months later. This was when we realized what was biting us. We also found out that we were not the only apartment with the problem but the whole building. We asked plenty of times if they would treat the whole building that way we could all be

We are moving from California to DeKalb and Britney seriously made this the easiest process ever. She was immediately so warm and welcoming and so informative. She had even offered to connect me with her old English professors at NIU as I'm considering studying there for my MA. Seriously the nicest and most helpful person ever. Great place to live, definitely one of the better apartments to live in the Dekalb area. Two beds, two baths and a washer and dryer can’t beat that. Also the property Manager Britney is really helpful when it comes to having your questions answered! She’s a great person to contact with any questions about your apartment at Eco Park!

Hi, just wanted to share this positive review. Early this month I was going out of state to visit friends and family for the holiday. Just the day before I moved from one apartment in Eco Park to another. I was rushing trying to get done moving the morning I was to leave for my trip out of state. Well, turns out I may have forgotten to lock my door in the mad rush. I called Jessica when I was already 2 hours into my road trip and explained the situation. She was very understanding and personally went to my apartment to lock the door. This was really going above the call of duty and I appreciated

Eco park is one of the BEST apartments to live in. It is clean, up to date, maintenance is always on time and answers request urgently. They are very affordable and they make your living experience very easy and homey! I would definitely recommend living here. It is also close to campus and main attractions. Eco park is a 10 out of 10! I LOVE living here. Jessica and Brittany are amazing property managers!

This has been a great place for me in the past 3 years. Yes, they're college apartments and the apartments themselves are pretty basic, but I was here to study & it's been a great place for that. The office has always been on top of any noise issue that I had ( like 2) & enforcing the property rules, which I appreciate.
Having a computer lab here made my life so much easier too. I didn't have to run to campus all the time. Everyone has always been helpful and made my time here so less stressed than prepping for grad school could have been.

So glad my lease FINALLY ended. What a long year that was! Based on the tour my roommates and I received prior to signing with Eco Park we were so pumped to move in, but that excitement did not last very long. The management is TERRIBLE, no one in there seems to know what they are doing or how to be polite. Our washer flooded not once, not twice, but THREE times before they decided to stop blaming us and actually fix the problem. Turns out the whole unit needed to be replaced, which they did, but they refused to do anything about the wet carpet and water damage to the walls. Towards the end of

I made one of the worst decisions of my life renting with Eco Park for a year.
The apartments ARE NOT maintained at all, excessively dirty when you move in, and the property manager has "no power to help you"
So what's her job then?!
Our appartment flooded because of a malfunction old washing machine, and instead of replacing the carpet, they "got it cleaned" by some 20 year old dude who left the carpet still super wet, their solution? Put 2 of the loudest, biggest fans in our apartment so we could neither talk, study or watch TV for 5 days straight. We both suffered

The deciding factor for my roommates and I when we choose Eco Park was James, the former manager. He was great to work with, even when we were having issues. For example, on move in day we had to sign the lease before seeing the actual unit we were assigned. Big mistake. The place was filthy. Vomit stains on the carpet, dirt build up in the showers, holes in the walls, torn window screens, and a broken hot water heater. Within two weeks James had the carpets replaced (not the padding underneath. Gross), painters out, and a repair guy to fix the heater. He made the place livable.

I had a 3 bedroom apartment last year. If you're looking for a place with storage for basic things like a broom, then you have come to the wrong apartment. In the model apartment you are under the impression a closet in the hallway will be unlocked and available. That is a lie. Also make sure you track everything you pay them because they can't keep their records straight. The hottest week of the summer our AC broke, it took them three different guys and 9 days to get it fixed. Our lease was over on Saturday at noon and we had a few things to clean still so we stopped by our apartment
