They never do what they’re suppose to. You can never get a hold of the property manager. My dryer went out 8 times last year and now won’t turn on. Instead of the property manager signing off on new one, they have maintenance come and try to fix it to buy some extra time with it. You put in a work order it takes up to a week before they come out to your house. Overall bad place to live

The people who run this place are evil. They will tow your car even if you have a valid permit and effectively ransom it back to you for $200, and there is nothing you can do about it. They've done it to me twice already and I've only been here 5 months. Find anywhere else to live!

The worst place to live. These apartments have spiders, centipede and ant problem. There are centipede coming through the vents. The management has chosen to ignore this issue that was brought up to them. They are charging to change the gas stove plates which should come under their responsibility as the management company. The lady at the desk told me to go buy them from Walmart because they are only $10. I called management to change my bathroom lock 6 times, how ever they never showed up. I would like to warn all college students, live somewhere else! NOT HERE!!

Lived here for three years during my college years. Can't really blame the landlord for the apartments being worn down and beat up because they have been around for quite some time. The issue that the vast majority of people here have been complaining about is the landlord Tom. The check up that takes place is always rushed and has Tom marking down the vast majority of the components of your apartment as in good quality. He ends up charging you for those things that he marked down as "good quality". Now, I will say that when someone other than the landlord does the end of the lease check-out, it

When we were looking to lease, everyone in the office was completely nice. Once we were moved in, suddenly everyone in the office were completely rude, so they obviously only care about filling vacancies. Maintenance staff have always been really nice, but we brought up issues with 3 of 5 windows not working properly and either they need new weights or need to replaced, which the office has to approve to get done. Recently we brought up issues with the patio, they told us they were deemed safe, a week later a steel beam fell from above and landed on my gf. Maintenance came out to address issue

This is by far the worst apartment complex you could rent from in the entire Midwest. Nothing but issues with the rude managers Tom and Tiffany. Received an eviction notice twice during my one year lease when I payed my rent on time ever single month. I was charged for damages that were non existant and never received my security deposit back when I was promised I would get it back after my walk through. The manager smells like smoke and is extremely disrespectful to the tenants. I had low expectations when signing my lease but didn't think it could be this bad. Please take these reviews seriously

Moved in and the AC was broke (broken majority of our time there) carpet was filthy and our feet were black from it, but we were charged a cleaning fee off our deposit even though we left the place cleaner than when we moved in. Drains were clogged with hair. Dryer was broken, took two months to finally fix it after at least five different visits, Freddy finally got the right part and made sure it was working before he left. This is probably the only helpful and kind guy that works there. Had to come hang my towel rack up at least three times after it kept falling. Dryer had birds in the vent,

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this unprofessional and sketchy company. They will steal every penny from you that they possibly can. I went in and asked nicely for maintenance requests to be done that we had been asking for for months, and Tom, the rude manager, started yelling at me for no reason. You know there’s a problem when an old man starts yelling at a young girl for no reason. Every person working there is rude to you, except the very nice blonde girl. They never respond to maintenance requests and on the rare chance they do, they walk in without even knocking. No wonder

They are super understanding and work so well with you especially students when it comes to their financial situation. I was told before renting with them that they were rude. I have seen nothing but kindness and they treat there tenants so wonderful.

I HIGHLY advise anyone to not rent any apartment from hunter star properties. The "property manager" Tom and the "regional manager" Tiffany do nothing to help the tenants out. We had no heat in the middle of a polar vortex for over 8 days and no air conditioning in the middle of the summer. The apartment appliances breakdown constantly and the managers do nothing to get them fixed in a timely manner. All they do is lie to you. Nothing about this apartment complex is up to code from the 1997 fire extinguisher to all the rusted structural beams. Everyone in the entire complex was charged 100+ dollars
