Crimson Management are slum lords.
I'm having similar issues like Wes. I've lived in a Crimson-owned apartment for 1 1/2 years now. I'm preparing to move and they are giving us absolutely no leeway with rent; it's either the full month or we must forgo our deposit. We have tried countless times calling and talking to people in the office who refuse to give us a straight answer or call us back. They said someone would come evaluate the apartment next day, and no one showed up or even bothered to call/email for several weeks.

They (Crimson Property Management) recently took over the apartment building I live in, and in a word they are the worst landlords I've ever had. We live in a rent controlled building and their first order of business was to raise the rent (illegally). A number of the tenants have pending HUD complaints pending with them over habitability issues, and I am considering one myself. Windows that don't lock, plumbing that leaks.
