Habitat was an amazing place to live in such a beautiful little area. Perfect proximity to downtown while still being in a great, green, quiet, cozy neighborhood right by the water. Beautiful apartments, incredible views. And Melinda and the staff are true pros - they were so great, helpful, and accommodating on every level. If I still lived in Sac, I would be living there. Couldn't recommend it more!

I moved here when I first moved to Sacramento and loved every second of it. The space is modern clean and close to everything without the Midtown traffic. The Barn across the street makes for a nice spot in summer for concerts, events and just generally awesome pizza and beer. It was a great spot to learn about the city! Management tries to do community events and the courtyard is a nice place when they use it for that.
The downsides though? Parking can be painful if you don't have a paid spot and you have to pay the city for a permit. There's NO STORAGE. Not even a decent
