Stayed in this beautiful complex for over a year from LA. What attracted me to this place was cleanliness and modern vibe, amenities (esp when the gym and Peloton pre-COVID), and sense of safety. The staff were all very warm and professional esp. Zurich, Jennifer and Kim. Rachell and Haley continued the same excellent service and responds timely to concerns or requests. Neighbors are respectful. Very pet friendly. Mails are secure. No parking incidents. Payment system is simple and upfront. I even got my deposit back! It was home and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay while in

I really wish I could rate this complex 5 stars. The location is excellent. The apartment itself is amazing, as it should be considering it costs as much as a 5 bedroom 2-story home after the parking fees.
The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the terrible layout of the complex. Every unit has the same apartment numbers. This seems like a minor thing except that EVERY mail carrier is confused by it. 40% of our packages go to the wrong apartment.

A little background on me, I am a medical student that has lived with my brother and dog at Capitol Yards for the last few months. Throughout my life I have lived at over 10 apartment complexes and I can safely say that this has been the best place I have ever lived at in my life. I’ve been living here for about a year now and I have to say that the previous management deterred me from leasing with them prior to this but then came Zurich, Kimberly and Jenn and their staff. From when I called to when I moved in was a total of about 6-7 days! They have all been amazing and very accommodating. There’s a cellphone that the staff uses and you can text/contact them directly and usually get a response within minutes. I have lived at Capitol Yards for the past 3.5 years. Simply, this is the most amazing property I have lived in during my tenure in Sacramento. The facilities, tenants and the staff are exceptional.
Always maintained and clean, the gym, pool and common areas are the best apartment facilities I have experienced. They gym has a Peleton bike, a full dumbbell rack as well as a squat rack. And that's just scratching the surface. Everything you need to do a great workout is right there..24 hours a day. The pool is always crystal clear and clean and it's definitely a lively and fun atmosphere

I have only been here for a few weeks but already throughly impressed! First, the place is beautiful! The yards are well maintained and you constantly see the staff from sunrise to sunset. When inquiring about apartments, Capitol Yards staff were the only ones who were EASY to reach and very responsive (especially Britt and Kim). I say this because I’ve interacted with almost every other apartment in midtown/downtown Sac at this price range and there is a clear difference!! Amazingly, this continues after you move in! I have been living at these apartments for 1.5 years now and couldn't be happier with my experience. Apartments are nice, amenities (pool, clubhouse, workout facility) are exceptional, and facilities are top notch. That said, my favorite part about Capitol Yards is their employees. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful. Ludwig is the maintenance director and continues to go above and beyond his duties. I have had multiple maintenance requests and he has fixed all issues within a matter of hours. Ludwig is also one of the friendliest people I've ever met.

Living at The Capitol Yards was an amazing experience. The apartments are spacious and clean with excellent kitchen space and appliances. The amenities are the best around offering more than anywhere else in West Sacramento. Living here, you're able to take advantage of walking to the River Cats games, The Barn for great beer and pizza as well as nice restaurants like Burgers And Brew (A Sacramento classic) right down the street.
DOCO and Old Town are just a short walk over the bridge too which is great for Kings Games, concerts and dining options.

TLDR: Pricey but worth it if it's in your price range.
Management: the management has been responsive, friendly, and professional during my time here so far (2 months). I mostly go into the front office to ask questions and they always address my issues relatively quickly.
During move-in, my movers got here before I did during business hours and the front office went to my unit and helped the movers get into the unit.
Complex area: so far it seems about what I expected from the area. The complex itself definitely feels more like a community than other apartments

This is our 3rd year here we have found the staff always friendly and helpful. Very willing to accommodate and the maintenance is excellent. We have been very happy here . I WFH and Working in the main area and the pool is wonderful . They make you feel at home . The gym is very clean and they are always making efforts to improve .

My husband and I moved to Capitol Yards in June of this year. We are so excited because the apartment looks really nice ans we love that we have our own garage. The amenities and the perks (free bike rental and RT monthly pass) were fabulous.
I am giving it two stars because of an incident that happened and how poorly it was handled. I have nothing against the management, I think they were great until the incident happened, but they should've been more helpful to my husband and I.
Two months after we settled in, we found out that someone broke in to our storage unit. Our unit is at building 721
