Lumen we’re hounding us about applying for the emergency rental assistance. I finally applied and was approved for assistance for roughly three months of rental assistance payments. The program informed me that they paid Lumen/Pangea over 2 months ago but lumen has yet to apply the funds to my account! I have emailed and called them over 10 times and no one has an answer as to when the money will be applied to my account! This is definitely fraudulent behavior and not a property management company that I would ever refer to anyone!

Me and my boyfriend was trying to look at a townhouse virtually since they didn’t want to do one in person unless an application is filled out. While he was viewing the place virtually with one of the agents, the agent got an email saying someone got approved and basically cut the viewing short. This person hasn’t even seen the place over the phone or in person. Pangea is with this company and all I gotta say is UNPROFESSIONAL and I do not recommend getting a place with either companies.

Like Alex and Lorenzo have posted below, I also lived in a property managed by Lumen in Lincoln Park - 2530/2534 N Orchard St to be exact. Lumen mismanaged our building to a degree of negligence that was unacceptable for ANY resident - let alone for the steep rents we paid.
We were never given a direct or reliable contact to reach out to when our building had maintenance issues. Sending requests through the "maintenance portal" would prompt an unscheduled visit from a maintenance man who tried to convince us each time that there was no issue. He would then "resolve" the issue without escalating

Hello, I have lived in a property managed by Lumen for nearly a year in Lincoln Park. Throughout our tenure, we have had various issues (broken shower and dishwasher), that we were unable to get services for nearly two weeks. On top of that, we have lost hot water 5 times in the past 3 months. Lumen has been rather unresponsive, unable to guarantee service or repairs, and has not credited us for these faults in any respects when they are unable to provide essential services.

Update from previous: Two more hot water outages this week, one is currently unresolved. By my count that is 5 separate outages. I feel like this building is on the verge of falling apart. It’s all a mirage.

They were polite and professional. At first they thought they would have to tear a hole into my bedroom wall to fix the issue, which made me so upset because I had just moved in 2 days before. This was something that was supposed to be fixed before I moved in, but they were able to fix it without going in through my room. Thank God for giving them the wisdom to fix it without more damage!

I feel like the apartment should have been cleaned before I moved in such as floors, microwave, cabinets & counter. I also have a jacuzzi tub in my unit that doesn’t even work, so during my viewing someone should have told me not get my hopes high thinking I have a real jacuzzi tub which should have been replaced but wasn’t.

I currently live at the Veranda @ Speedway location that was bought in September-ish from Core Redevelopment. To say the least I miss the old property managers because they actually care about residents. Since day one of them owning my apartment complex there has been poor communication from every end. I am a full time college student that works three jobs and I don't want to have to worry about my apartments property managers. As a first time renter, this is flat out disappointing and frustrating. The apartment and community itself it amazing, but I don't think i'll continue to rent here due to

The worst property management company I’ve ever encountered. Unbelievable they’re still in business. Its a new name for Pangea Property Management (Check them out) same people. They manage dozens of buildings and have no support after 10 pm, locked out? No water? No heat? 64 degrees in your unit? Well you have some heat. 84 degrees in your unit? It’s not an emergency. Your problem! 2k a month rent and they operate like it’s a free housing in a third world country. Building manager is responding when he feels like it, two three days later.. and when you’re calling the main office it takes

This company is a cover up for Pangea. In which is the worst management company on earth. It have been nothing but problems since they took over. Poor management! Unprofessional staff! They don’t sweep or clean common areas! They charge residents for any and everything. They changed visitors parking without informing residents. We had to pay tow fees. No more barbecue on the premises. Washers and dryers never works! My apartments floods all the time. The carpet be wet you have to clean yourself or pay someone to come out. No reimbursement! It’s like so what when it’s not your fault.
