Dr. Shane Henry graduated from the University of Florida Veterinary Medicine in 1981, as well as graduating from the University of Florida with honors in Chemistry prior to that in 1976. Dr. Shane Henry has spent many years working with large practices in Miami and small hospitals in Ocala, and has cultivated his own two practices for over 35 years before moving to Crystal River.

the girls are funny and make you feel welcome.

he knows more than new graduates.
it’s experience, And passion for the job,but it’s not a job it’s his life.
We are happy we found them.

Just this evening my dog was attacked by another dog and needed surgery to amputated part of her ear. Dr. ShaneHenry and his staff were amazing and even though they were ready to close and could have sent us to an emergency clinic they instead welcomed us with open arms and all chose to stay after hours and make sure my pup was taken care of. This is a first class office with huge hearts! Thank you so much to you all for the love and care you give💗

Everyone was absolutely wonderful. We have 3 dogs that range in age from 8 yes to 4 months and each one was given individual attention. The middle child has been a bit naughty lately and I was afraid that I was going to have to have to re-home her, however with the help of River region's amazing vet and staff we are looking forward to changing the naughty behavior and keeping her forever as we originally planned 🙂. We are so very grateful for all they have done for us this far, and today was their first visit..
