Services
Rainbow River Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Wellness Care: Free Vaccines for Life program to ensure your pets get the preventative care they need. A one time enrollment fee can cover core vaccines for the life of your pet.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Is the anesthetic safe? Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

They keep sending me bills and they can't even tell me what it's for. I paid everything upfront. The office lady always hangs up on me. The doctor wanted to do surgery right away. We got a second opinion and the other vet told us that he DID NOT tear his miniscus or whatever it's called. This vet right here is all about the $$$$$ he doesn't care about your animals and neither does his employees. My dog had twice the seizures he usually has under this vet's care. He also wanted to put my dog on 4 different meds. And stop sending me bills if you can't tell me what it's for.

My second experience was better than my first...my first experience the vet seemed to speak very condescending to us when we asked questions about care of our pet ( brand new cat owner) it almost almost as if he should have began each sentence with "Your so stupid for asking that" of course he didn't say that but that was his mannerisms and tone. The second visit was much better in this area....the only difference was this time it was just me on the vehicle without my lady. ...not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.
They took great and wonderful care of our pet...

Raptor rescue is what I needed help with. One of the vets here does or bono triage for the local wildlife rehabilitation org. I had a bard owl that had been hit early this morning (4am). I brought the owl to this vets office and they took it back, then the wildlife rehab lady met us and took the owl from there.
The office was clean and pleasant. And very busy. In the short time I was here, four small animals came in the door with their owners. The staff was nice as could be, too.
I'm not sure if there was a turnover from the previous staff written about in those other reviews, but I give
