I am incredibly disappointed. Me and my mom made an appointment with an specific hair stylist that was recommended to us by a very good friend. When we arrived everything seemed perfect, until the end of my haircut, when I realized that the hair stylist that took care of us was not the person I specifically asked for. The only reason we decided to drive all the way to downtown and spend the $$$$$, was because of the wonderful recommendation of my friend. I wish they would of contacted us ahead of time, to ask if we wanted to change the appointment or find another stylist. The haircut we both got

I went to go see Gabby to get my hair done. She was so professional throughout the whole service. She was asking all the right questions to get my hair goal. She just such an amazing person with making sure I was comfortable. Even other stylist around being positive with my hair result at the end. The teamwork is seen as soon as you get through the doors and very welcoming. Gabby is definitely a person I will go see again next time I want my hair done.

Had a great hairdresser for 15 years and was happy but they did not make house calls. My son found this salon during Covid, since I really needed in-home services. It was a birthday gift. :-)
George Charles Salon has been great to work with and very accommodating to my schedule. Joseph is great with hair coloring, haircut and hair styling. Hard to find three-in-one but truly believe I did and he's a gem!

Immaculate salon. Cleaning help was there every minute to insure safe surrounding. My stylist was from a prior salon and I decided to switch with her. I think it was a great decision. Very pleased that they use amomia- free colorings. I am definitely going back.

My stylist was Leia and she was so professional, extremely knowledgeable about natural hair, and did a beautiful job flat ironing, coloring, and trimming my natural hair. George Charles Salon is the greatest! The salon is very lux, warm, and welcoming! All the staff is very generous. Joseph is an amazing hair stylist! He is super efficient. He pays attention to details when cutting hair to make sure it looks great from every angle. Overall an amazing person to talk to. They used great quality products. My hair looks and feels so shiny and healthy. It smells amazing too! If you want to feel like a celebrity for a day, def go to George Charles Salon. I got compliments on my hair EVERYWHERE I went!

This was my first time visiting George Charles and getting my haircut at a salon professionally— I was nervous but had an amazing experience with Bianca! I showed Bianca a video of the haircut I was hoping to get and told her I didn’t want too much cut off overall and she did exactly that. The length is exactly what I wanted (just a little trim off) and the style itself looks amazing (I asked for long layers). Bianca was also extremely friendly and personable.

I have been searching for a new salon “home” since moving to Chicago. I definitely saved the best for last! George Charles is spectacular! George knew exactly how to fix the color disaster left by the last salon I tried, and gave me the perfect mix of base and highlights. I finally look like me again! The salon is very clean, stylish and inviting, and the staff is so friendly! You definitely get what you pay for here! I’ve done the legwork and have tried all the alleged “best” salons in the city. George Charles outshines them all!

First timer here, I booked a haircut through Classpass for 27 credits. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the front desk agent and was offered a comfy robe to wear. They had a complementary tea and coffee bar. Bianca was friendly and professional and gave me a lot of product knowledge as well as product suggestions I can purchase for my bleached/damaged ends. I was in and out within 60 minutes. This was a much needed visit for my hair's regrowth. Will def recommend if you have the budget.

I had a eyebrow tinting, Milbon moisture treatment, and the keratin express treatment done. It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself to a salon day. Upon arriving I was lost since the salon is located in a hidden alley behind Prada. Once walking into the alley itself than their is a door guy at the end, that takes your name and lets you up to the salon on the third level. Would have been better if this was explained via email/phone once I made the actual appointment. That definitely would have saved myself time walking back and fourth a couple blocks for 20 minutes .

Sharie Valcin - Trio Salon - has been taking care of my hair since I moved to Chicago, a year ago. I simply adore her and recommend her to all my friends! My hair has never been so shiny and smooth, the color looks amazing! She is knowledgeable and one of the most recognized colorists in Chicago. This is a beautiful salon! I had Joseph cut my hair yesterday and he did a great job! I am very particular about who cuts my hair as I had a bad experience a while back. I would highly recommend him to others as I felt very comfortable and he gave me a amazing cut. I will definitely be going back to him.

I went for a haircut with Mio after reading many reviews, and could not be happier with the beautiful haircut she gave my thick, long locks.
My appointment was at 11:00 on a Thursday morning; traffic was heavy but moving, and I had no problem finding a parking spot right around the corner. The salon is not huge, but even with many hairdos going on at the same time was not at all cramped or crowded at all.
At $125 my haircut wasn't cheap, but worth every penny, and I will definitely be back. Highly

My friend recommended me to try this salon, and I can now say I have found my new salon in Chicago! Sherrie did an excellent job with coloring my hair with balayage. I trusted her, and she colored it very differently than people have in the past. The more I see it after several washes, the more I love it! In regards to haircut, I had Cecilia. She was just as phenomenal. Her patience and keen eye in doing my hair was worth it. Both individuals helped me to understand how to love and treat my curly hair, and I look forward to coming back!

Mio is the best stylist of all time! She's super talented, sweet, and I trust her with my hair completely. My last 2 visits at TRIO with Mio were to cut, style, and dye my hair, and I have been very pleased with the results. TRIO is a nice space to relax in and the staff is very pleasant- Highly recommended!

What I love most about Mio, besides her incredible talent, is that she really listens to you and what you want and also makes sure your haircut fits in with your lifestyle (how you normally style your hair, if you wear it up etc.) and my hair has never looked better. I found Megan on Salon Apprentice because I was in dire need for a trim.
Super easy to make an appointment with her.
The salon is nice...pretty standard.
Megan was great. Personable, but not too much. Listened to what I wanted AND delivered on it. And since she's in her apprenticeship...it was super cheap to boot!
