I rented from Amanda and a different Lori who is now over maintenance around 11 years ago.. At that time I helped rent apartments from giving referrals w/o being paid or asking for $ and hey whatever No problems.

I submitted an application for a property to rent with Desert Realty.The type of rudeness with one of their agents/property managers, Lori Kalata. She is rude and condescending. She left an impression of being a very bitter person. I was judged in a negative light, just for submitting an application. I was met with hostility after asking about the property. The professionalism with potential clients is lacking majorly, Lori Kalata, who is employed by Desert Realty, does not reflect the company in a positive light.

Stole cash payments that they were not supposed to take illegally evicted me during the pandemic in July and locked me out of my house. They packed all the things in my home by the 16 of that month with no permission stole my belongings and left me and my children on the streets stole diapers that were for my child printers and more. Very rude with no explanation all for being 10 days late during the pandemic when the owner already said do not evict during that time. Do not rent from them I lived in my rented home for 3 years

This review was not posted to complain, but to describe my experience. Very unorganized and terrible service.
Originally viewing this house im currently in, there was a bit of work needed before it was move in ready. The woman who showed the house mentioned that the carpet was dirty from the previous persons pets. It was lifting, had patches, and dog hair everywhere. She said the owners are considering changing the carpet or laying tile. We secured the place with half of the deposit.
I asked them to do a walk through once the final cleaning

This is the worst Real Estate office I've ever seen. Your company locked my daughters pets inside her home, when they evicted her. Because the 27th is considered a legal family holidays they wont let us in. I received a notice saying 10 days to get my stuff out or its 30 dollars a day and 30$ on Saturday's due when the door unlocks. I want my pets out. I'm calling Contact 13

Staff is really rude and unprofessional!! Customer services does not exist For this company!! wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy they are very Argumentative, never want to hear their tenant. They tell you want thing and act like they have dementia And say the opposite Of what they told you. I work for a well known company and customer services is our priority.... but for this property management Is the opposite! They never want to take ownership for what they do wrong. I rented a beautiful house in Summerln from Desert Realty for 5 years. I don't understand why ppl leave such negative reviews? They've been absolutely amazing ❤️ I've had no issues, period for 5 years. This is a very professional and experienced staff. Yes, they are a business oriented company. When I've experienced issues and/or needed repairs with my rental they were prompt, courteous and friendly.
The staff is professional, up-front (rental contract is explained in detail, so no surprises), reliable, courteous, honest and always helpful.

I've rented from Desert now for two and a half years and I think they've done a fantastic job. The repair and maintenance staff they have are very friendly and responsive and I have had to use them a few times. I had a fairly serious issue that arose when I first moved into the house I am renting now and I booked two hotel rooms for 3 days because it was a mold issue. Haven't received any push back from the women I've spoken with, but I also pay my rent on time and try not to call on trivial things.
