I lived at Sea Breeze apartamentos from 2/18 through 4/20. The complex is managed by William Renteria who does an excellent job keeping the building and common areas clean and well kept. The court yard have landscaping, the laundry area is clean, well lit and very easy to use. When maintenance issues arise forms to address issues are easy to fill and if an issue happens they are solved by maintenance under William’s supervision in a timely manner. I moved to be closer to work, Butão highly recommended Marina area and Sea Breeze apartments.

I lived there for a year between 2016-2017. The grounds were always kept up nice, it had on site washer / dryer facilities. In the beginning it was rough. I had a month old baby and there were ants everywhere. They had to fumigate the apartment (Just a few weeks after moving in) and obviously I couldn't have my baby on the premisses. The manager on site assisted me with hotel accommodations while the fumigation process took place. It was a great gesture from him and SeaBreeze although extremely inconvenient, having a wife that had just been out of surgery and a 1 month old baby. Anyway, after

The Seabreeze Apartments are great. We really like living here. The apartments are nicely cared for, ours was completely redone when we moved in. Carpet, appliances, paint, fixtures. It is really nice. We looked around town for a while before we moved. Most of the other apartments in town were pretty old and tired. They are always redoing something. This week they painted our front door. Last week they trimmed the tree in our front yard. Needless to say their maintenance is excellent. It is usually very quiet, our neighbors are great. I just called to inquire about a post my fiancé found online for a 2BD/1BR unit, and was blatantly disrespected by the man who answered the phone. He rudely told me that they had no units available and then laughed at me so hard I had to pull the phone away from my ear, and proceeded to tell me that, "his crystal ball wasn't working," when I asked him if he had any leases turning over soon... when I explained that there was a posting up about this unit he laughed at me AGAIN and said, "ma'am maybe you didn't hear me, we're all full." This is my first experience living in an apartment, so this has been a different yet nice living situation for myself. My friend and I live in a two bedroom and we moved in mid 2018. We fell in love with the apartment and the area of the complex. It is conveniently located in Marina near shopping and freeway.
The apartment was really well kept, beautiful updated kitchen with up to date appliances, nice counters and cabinets. The flooring was redone prior to moving in. The floor is a gorgeous laminate wood in a greyish color. Very easy to keep clean and maintain.

Upon taking a stroll I met with the property manager William who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He told me, showed me and said what he had available. I appreciated him working with my time window and listening to my wants in a new location. Sea Breeze's apartments have a nice lay out and well maintained grounds.
Since moving in I am loving the quietness, the location in proximity to convenience of good shopping, a great state beach and nearness to the freeway access ability. William continues to be extremely helpful, and dependable

I enjoyed my stay at Sea Breeze apartments in Marina. I was there for a year and a half before being transferred out of the area.
All of the fixtures and carpet were new when I moved in which was very nice. The few minor maintenance issues I encountered were immediately corrected. Fernando, the onsite maintenance person is great. He's extremely friendly and hard working keeping the grounds and apartments in pristine condition

Edited because we were sent a letter saying that they would sue us for my honest review. Not wanting to deal with that (if they can or are just trying to scare us, which should also be an indication of the management) I am just going to say we had bad experiences here. We felt as though every interaction with the management was negative. It seemed as thought he was always angry about something and all interactions felt aggressive. We went to stop by to inquire about availability, and manager was very rude right off the bat. We parked in the parking spot that has a sign that clearly says "Future Resident Parking".... and when he saw us park there, he yelled at us saying that it was HIS parking spot. We explained that we did not know and we just read the sign, but he just kept saying "You need to move your car, that's MY parking spot!" So we asked where we could park, and he said "I don't know, somewhere on the street, but not HERE. You need to move your car!"

My first encounter with the property manager was negative from the get go. He came off as incredibly rude and treated me like a child. I did not appreciate it, but I needed somewhere to live so I let it slide. We were supposed to move in June 1st but he pushed the lease back to June 15th because the apartment wasn't ready. It's now mid September and the apartment STILL isn't fixed. We have a box for a light fixture that should have been installed before we moved in. Just looked at Sea Breeze, as well as other apartments. We decided to rent a 2BR, based on the appearance of the units, the cleanliness of the grounds, the convenience and location, but especially because of Mr. William Renteria, the on site manager. He welcomed us and we felt that all of our questions were answered fully and sincerely. He has contacted us many times over the past 4 days, giving us information about the status of our application. He is courteous and professional.

Just recently moved out, but I lived there for almost 5 years. My experience living there was a positive one. I always felt safe and the apartment manager was one of the reasons why. Management is friendly, responsive and helpful. Those are the things that separate Sea Breeze from the rest to me; the personal touch and conveniences that matter day to day.
Then there is the area. Less than a quarter mile from the beautiful Monterey coast at Marina Beach! Just 2 Miles from the University, and only 10 miles from Monterey's Cannery Row and all that comes with it. So much to see and do and so close to home.

Update 06/13/2016 the ant problem resurfaced again yesterday, after two sessions of treatment, i have ant bits everywhere on my body. Just emailed the manger again as he advised, let's see what he going to do about it?!!! I uploaded new pictures and videos on my review on yelp from the tub in the bathroom, and kitchen since the bedroom light was so dim I couldn't take good pictures!

My wife and I were in these apartments for around a year and hands down the best part was the land lord. He was always quick to respond to any issue we had, and very friendly. The apartment was newly renovated and the grounds are all beautiful. This will be the first place we check for availability if we ever come back. In case anyone is going through DLI these apartments are military friendly.

We stayed approx. 1.5 years at Sea Breeze Apartments. Our experience has been exceptional! The grounds were always kept up nice, it had on site washer / dryer facilities (now with upgraded credit card readers!) and on site parking. The apartment manager, William Renteria, has been the best manager we've ever encountered. He is efficient, professional, always there when you need him, very helpful, kind, and goes above and beyond to accommodate the residents. We would recommend Sea Breeze Apartments to anyone!

Great place to live! Moved in over two years ago and has been the best experience since moving to Monterey. I've always felt safe and the neighbors are really nice. The leasing office manager William is great, he takes care of any concerns fast and professionally. I love the location, it is close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

My wife and I have been at the Seabreeze apartments for 21 years, and in that time we have seen a lot of managers come and go. The property has gone through a lot of changes in that time. In all of our years however, we have never seen such great changes taking place as there are now. William is a wonderful manager; and now, we also have an owner who really cares about being part of a great property.
