I love living here at Shoreline. They are attentive to my needs. I love the online experience so we don't have to show up in person. The dog run, and the gym and community center are a major plus. Very much enjoy living here.

Excellent customer service and a nice community. Move in was expedited by the management staff which made my relocation that much easier from out of county.

Been great living here. The community is quiet and friendly. Pets are welcome! Great dog park :) very close to the beach!
However, gym and community that was supposed to open last year took a long time to open than what was promised and advertised.
Other than that it is a great place to live.

Definitely don't recommend
If you have any problems or issues(you will 100% by the second month), the managers will not email back or return calls.
An updated apartment with leaking windows and miss matched drawers.
My car port was moved to opposite side of the complex (my unit isn't even on the map) so me and my roommate use visitor spots that are constantly being used as a Non-Op car storage by other units.
The on site handyman and manager use empty unit car ports to park personal cars and issue tow tickets on other vehicles who do the same, But not to the vehicles in guest spots that don

Absolutely horrible place to live. Neighbors slamming doors all the time, pounding of the floors constantly, you share utility so if your neighbor uses the gas or water a ton, you're paying for it no matter how little you use. And when you try to talk to your neighborhors about keeping it down, you get slapped a notice of aggression to your neighbor and to cease and desist all further communication or threatening to terminate your lease. Save your time and money and go anywhere else

Garbage Bill up 800%!! Yes, that's right, that's not a typo - our trash bill was just jacked up 800%. Went from $9.25 to $72.45 and there is NOTHING we can do except buy out our lease for $3400.00, kiss that money good-bye and move to another place! When I complained to the site manager, Malena, she kept trying to sell me on how reasonable this was because we were told at lease renewal that our garbage bill would go up substantially...substantially....hmmm in my mind that means anywhere from 50% to 100%. Not 800%!!

This is nothing short of a sneaky way to jack up the rent over and above

Terrible. They do not answer the phone or return calls and they took my pet deposit for an apartment that they required a co-signer on and I am still waiting on my deposit over 3 weeks later.

I have many issues with my 2 years of living at Marina in Shoreline but I limit it to its biggest issue backed by a situation I expereinced at this location.
By far the worst management I have ever experienced. They are almost never on site or available to assist residents and do not expect to reach anyone with Greystar (the corporate owner) to help you either.
My fiance and I were threatened to be evicted after an admitted "glitch" with the new rent payment system had occurred and we were being charged the incorrect amount for the month. After several emails and zero responses we continued to

Other than putting a roof over my head my experience at Shoreline Apartments has been my worst apartment experience yet.
Maintenance is shotty and lease managers do not even use their online maintenance request system. I had several online inquires which were expired after filling out a bad review by greystar and was contacted by the lease manager Traci?Terri? (she's impossible to get ahold of). I was told they would be contacting me to schedule repairs... which never happened.
I had to beg to have my carpet replaced after my shower/toilet became backed up and flooded my apartment in an inch

Avoid Greystar Properties!!!
Slum-Lord Management!

I have lived at 2 Apartment complexes managed by Graystar. I lived at the Shoreline from 2016-2017, Shortly within a month of moving in at shoreline one of the burners on the stove broke. We reported this maintenance issue within the first month of residence there. It was not fixed until a couple weeks before I moved out about a year later! We reported it many times, it was not fixed until almost move-out time.

Within the first 3 months of residence the refrigerator broke. It was replaced with an older model. This replacement fridge leaked hazardous

Very friendly, clean apartments, nice lawns, price is average. If you have a pet here is the information you will need $350 per pet for deposit and $50 per dog per month. $500 dollars for rental deposit.

Obviously this place isn't glamorous but the people are what make it. They aren't always in the office which is understandable since they are usually working to make the property better. I lived here for a year and I just recently moved out. Luis did an excellent job with the move out walkthrough, he is kind and very friendly. I never met Traci (The apartment manager) but she always responded to my texts in a prompt manner. I can only hope the management at my new place is just as nice! Thanks again Traci and Luis!

I have lived at the Shoreline Apartments for 3 years now. It is a very nice facility with well kept grounds, also one of the few complexes that take animals. My wife and I have enjoyed living at Shoreline Apartments and are now about to move to a 2 bedroom unit next week. I am so thankful for Traci Britt who helps manage the complex and how easy it is to get in contact with her.

It was absolutely impossible to get in to touch with anyone! I came from out of town and needed to find a place pretty soon. Their corporate office told me that they had availability, but only Traci (the office manager apparently, even though she is never there) could schedule a viewing appointment with me. How can only one person in an entire corporation be able to schedule an appointment?? I called her numerous times and emailed her and she never got back to me. I ended up just visiting the community myself to see if anyone would be there. I saw a sign that said "be back at 3:30", so

Stay away from this place. They have a serious flea problem they refuse to treat properly. My fiancé and I had to pay for professional service for over three years to keep them out of our apartment before we finally decided to leave. Tracy is the property manager, and overall she's been very nice to us. However she was dishonest with us multiple occasions which I did not appreciate. It's too bad they have so many flea issues on all their marina properties because it would have been a nice quiet place to live.

My experience at the Shoreline was nothing but positive for my year of living there. Traci was always responsive to my needs, maintenance issues were fixed immediately and overall the property is well maintained and safe! The laundry rooms are reasonably priced and the fact that it's pet friendly and within walking distance to the beach is a plus. The apartments are on a quiet street in Marina and within walking distance to all of the local shops and farmers market. I'll miss this place!

The only reason I'm dropping 2 stars down on this review is their failure to properly advertise their pet policy. Their website says that they are pet friendly and nothing else. It took me several calls to their office from out of state during CA business hours to get them to finally pick up and confirm that there are no pet restrictions of any kind. They only allow pets up to a maximum of 25 lbs which in my book isn't pet friendly as I have a 50 lbs canine, and it's stuff like this that needs to be advertised on the website for folks who are military with pets moving to that area

I moved to the Monterey Bay 12 years ago and found it very difficult to find a nice clean apartment community anywhere in the area. I visited this community before it became The Shoreline at Monterey Bay and was surprised that any owner would even allow a community to present the way it did.

I recently had to find a new place to live and came across an ad for The Shoreline and decided to visit the property. First, I called the property and was greeted by a upbeat personality on the phone, Traci. She described the upgrades to many of the apartments and the community and invited me to come and
