As the board president for the last 9 years, and a board member for 12 years, my experience working with Sudler has been extraordinary.

Sudler manages our condo building. They consistently do not enforce the mask mandate in their employees nor in residents. I have escalated this concern on multiple occasions to on site management and Executive leadership at Sudler, to no avail. Sudler still allows employees to keep masks off their face, on their chins, the desk anywhere except on their face, they do not follow thru-and allow temp employees to return even though they are non-compliant with masking
it's unsafe and more importantly against the law

If you live in the building managed by Sudler, please note that hackers have breached their system and potential stole personal information. Please take precaution to protect your identity.

The event happened on October 31 but we did not get email until November 12th. When they send out the email, they simply included the notification in the attachments. Nothing in the email body and subject line mentioned about the event. Some people might not even read the email.

I have emailed them multiple times asking if we were the victims., They wrote beautiful emails basically telling me they know nothing

Positive: Responsiveness
I used to live in a Sudler managed building. Whenever I had a problem the staff was very responsive and communicated well. Would live in a Sudler building again.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Having lived in buildings managed by many different Condo and Apartment management companies I have to say that Sudler has been the most professional and responsive. Service requests get taken care of quickly, and the manager answers the phone, unlike at some other buildings.

Large management company in Chicago. They do a decent job but in my experience, individual property managers lack accountability with handling building issues and have a total lack of awareness of what goes on with their staff. I've had some horrendous experiences with door staff and maintenance staff and nothing was done after bringing to managements attention. When emailing with property managers and their superiors, large delays with when they will respond (if they ever do respond). In my experience, the property manager of my building did not handle covid very well.

Horrible management company. Continuously fine residents, horrible customer service, incredibly incompetent office staff. Will never work with them again. Gave my key out to several workers and allowed them to enter my unit without prior consent, some even barged in while I was in the unit. Incredible intrusive - will spread the word among my peers as well.

I can only speak on behalf of Nancy, who is the building manager at The Vetro at 611 S. Wells. From the day we moved in, to the little annoyances that were fixed very quickly along the way, Nancy was a huge advocate and cared about making The Vetro feel like home. She was always very responsive, always visible and the door staff respected her as well which means something. Nancy is huge plus to moving into The Vetro- she is a fair and honest manager that keeps everyone in the loop with weekly and sometimes more than weekly updates! If you read what she puts in the newsletters, you are very informed

Many residents in this building are currently trying hard to move out due to astronomical high assessments, the whole building needs new windows and the owners are paying a lot, also there is a riser project that needs to be redone which is another cost, they need to go in your unit and Tear open your wall leaving dust everywhere, then you are responsible for painting the wall! Think twice about buying in this building!

Sudler does not hire people who are competent and understand laws that govern property. Their PM came to my home during pandemic without a mask, asking to see my home WITHOUT a valid legal reason because another resident complained of an odor entering her home from her open window. They continued to harass my family, when I complained to the owner of Sudler he got his attorney involved-which i believe is his attempt to intimidate me. it didn't work. No apology, no acknowledgment of their errors NOTHING. Please also remember to file complaints with the better business bureau if you have problems

I switched a bank account due to COVID and my payment failed for the first time in 5 years. I was charged $50 return fee. Not $15, $20 or $30 but $50. I expected more empathy in these uncertain times. Property manager just said it was a bank, not us, and didn't want to give me their name or contact info so I can inquiry about waiving this fee. I also asked if Sudler has any notification system in place (email or text) to let a customer know when payment fails and give us a grace period of let say 24-48 hours to update our CC info and avoid the late fee charge? Nope! Do you have a forbearance plan

As a landlord of multiple rental properties in the Chicago area, I have to say Sudler Property Management is the best of them all! Today I was impressed again by one of their staff working at 2626 N Lakeview Ave whose name is Sebastian Ang. My tenant was scheduled to move-in in two days. Sebastian noticed some missing information in my rental application and reached out to me immediately. He worked till almost 8PM to help me get the issue resolved so that my tenant could get the approval in time. I have never seen this level of dedication in any other property managers that i have ever worked with

Mr. Levy, I would be delighted to meet. I have, in fact, already invited you to such a meeting via email and left a phone call and have been waiting for you to get back to me since the day your company distributed your letter. I recommend you open the invitation to discuss this matter with all Hollywood Towers residents or at least our condo board. I think it is important that you understand the views of residents before you presume to speak on our behalf.

Would highly not suggest ever moving into a Sudler Property. Elevators frequently break down and fees go up 15-20% every year. Maintenance projects always go over budget and they are trying to charge me $200 to have my wife move her clothes in because of their move in policy. There is a 100+ dollar fee for just about any/everything you can think of. Praying I'll be able to sell when the time comes.

Very professional management company to work for. There should be no complaints from Association Members- because Sudler has a full house of support. Mr. Levy is quick to respond to any issue or concerns that Owners are struggling with. Sudler also has 24/7 VP supervisors to backup and support property managers. I loved working for Sudler. I do Not see any faults with Sudler. Please be patient and allow Sudler to take care of you. MAOB

If this is what "delivering excellence in everything we do" looks like, I'd hate to see their version of inferior customer service. After selling my condo at 3800 N Lake Shore Dr., the property manager Isela instructed the mailroom staff to mark all of our mail as undeliverable/return to sender. We had a forwarding order in place and Sudler knew our new address, but when the USPS would accidentally deliver something to our old address, Sudler demonstrated its commitment to excellence by being jerks. How long does it take to write a new address on a piece of mail? 15 seconds. (In

I have been in our building through previous management company. I have been very happy with Sudler management. I think most of all it is our property manger Cheryl. She has done such a GREAT job with running our building and managing our budget with all of the work we have done in the building. If you ever need anything she will try her hardest to accommodate you. She is also very friendly to me and my family. she makes sure to always greet my two kids with a happy face when the walk in and out of the building. Thank you for everything.

I've been very happy with Sudler management during my 5+ years with them.
My previous review of Sudler Property Management was critical of what I considered to be an inadequate billing system. I recently learned that system was actually provided by my building and Sudler offers something with the features I'd expect. Someone actually reached out to me because of my review to inform me of this and help make my experience better.

The management staff at The Legacy is the best. We used to have Draper and Kramer, however, ever since Sudler took over the building shines. Sudler has also added their advanced technology that is easy to use and it works. I am happy to live In a Sudler managed building. I am also impressed with the way they communicate with residents. I used to live in a Lieberman managed condo building. They were even worse than Draper and Kramer because of all of their hidden charges. Sudler doesn’t do that to us.

I've been on the boards of multiple properties I own in Chicago's Gold Coast and have had a number of different management companies managing the buildings. It can be relatively painless or extremely painful (and costly) to be on the board if you're management company is not up to the task.

I'm off the opinion that when it comes to building management, you want A list, best in class professionals and that's what you get with Sudler!

Their management talent, back office support, networks and customer service are exemplary. I fought and succeeded in getting them in my

I live in a property that was managed by Sudler for about 10 years and they are pretty sad. The property managers did not have much knowledge of what was going on and the "Building Engineers" they chose were totally clueless.

In addition a number of contractors I talked to about bidding on the maintenance contracts mentioned that Sudler has a kickback program where they get invoiced by Sudler to stay on their "Preferred Vendor" list. Basically jacking up their profits and the cost to building residents.

If you have a choice I would stay away from them.

You can feel the tension when you walk in the lobby. Building employees and people who live here have all confirmed the horrible experiences I had since moving in this summer; it's not just me.

Moving in is a nightmare... and you'd think I'd get less pushback from Sudler management when requesting approval to get my unit up to code. Rather than just enforcing rules, the management has added their own interpretations that are unreasonable.

Good luck apartment/condo hunting... avoid Sudler if possible!

Great company. I only wish that we could change the rules to allow larger dogs. Sudler has been very helpful in helping us with job descriptions for the staff. Things are now getting done and I appreciate the fact that Sudler provided us with a very competent new manager when our old company could not. I'd give 5-stars if we had Sudler a bit longer. It's only been about a year, but so far, I'm impressed.
