This company is NOT reputable. My daughter rented an apartment for two years and moved out back in July. We have yet to receive our security deposit. We were told that it was "in the mail." That was back in September. They don't answer their phones or return emails. They basically stole our money.
My advice....run from this business and find someone else to rent from.
As far as I am concerned they do not deserve any stars, but in order to post you have to at lease give one star. :-(

This management company is actually awful. Please DO NOT rent with them. Within less then three months we have had our doors broken, our walls had water leaks into two electrical sources, our bathrooms flooded with sewer water (which took three weeks before someone came), and a mold infested room. They never answer their phones and when they do they are rude and have laughed at us and hung up. They will give you some round about response and then never get back to you on anything. These houses might look nice but they are cheaply made and everything breaks. Seriously don't lease with these people

I have a lease signed with MK right now (or Slatehouse or home360 who knows!) This company has been nothing but awful since we moved in. First off we signed the lease with MK, not even a week before move in we get an email saying it is slatehouse property group and then a week later it is now Home360. I have had three different portals none of which make sense for maintenance requests or rent payments. My dad can't even sign into Home360 to pay my rent even though he is signed on our lease as my cosigner. They have not told us anything and they show up unannounced at least once a week. Not only

I have never rented through a more incompetent company. There is absolutely no communication with tenets at all. My roommate and I were living with mold on the walls of brand new apartment that we were three weeks late moving into, for 2 weeks before anyone even picked up the phone. Since we moved in the showers nor the closets were done being installed. There is no tension rod or glass door on the showers, so nothing stopping the water from going literally everywhere. Now we have been showering at others peoples apartments for three weeks with absolutely no plan to actually finish our apartment

This company will leave you homeless they do not care. They do not properly represent their tenets whatsoever. My apartment is under construction and in no condition to live and they wanted me to move in as well as kicked me out of my temporary housing. The apartment is unlivable. There are holes completely exposed to the outside. Infested with bugs. Constructed horribly. I have been waiting for months. Construction has been delayed months and the communication is so unprofessional. They lie and stall instead of being honest with their tenets or just ghost you. I'm sorry - We've been patient for a month. There are multiple electrical issues with our building. Work orders have been submitted and ignored. I'm afraid of an electrical fire. This management company is not responsive and needs to be held accountable. I do not recommend using their service.
Washing machine is a nice feature but pops the breaker every 5 minutes.
Can't run a hair dryer in the bathroom. Again, breaker trips.
Can't run the microwave - breaker trips.
Apparently, they won't listen until we have a lawyer.

I rented from MK management group in 2017. I have a laundry list of reasons why you should avoid this company- but I will just list 3 (1) The company never returned my security deposit. (2) The company falsely reported late payments on my credit report. And (3) The company is non-responsive. Please avoid this company

I’ve been looking for an apartment in Philadelphia and I passed by one of MK’s buildings on 15th street and all I see is a huge pile of trash on the street, which I find to be disgusting. People have to pass by that and see all of that trash and when its hot and raining, the smell must be nauseating. I don’t find that to be professional at all and I feel that is an embarrassment to the business. Please find a way to dispose of garbage in a more professional way.

Do not use this company! They do not answer phone calls, they do not fix maintenance requests, they do not return emails or even answer emergency requests. My daughter rented from this company at Temple University and we had horrible service, next thing you know the company changed its name to slate House but the horrible service continued, about 2 weeks later the company changed its name to home 365 and guess what? We moved into our apartment in Philadelphia just recently. When we got there there was a trash can full of trash that was rotting in our living room, a random shovel, no knobs on the cabinets all the lights were out and our backyard among many other things was trashed. Additionally on our lease it says we have a dishwasher and the inspection checklist has dishwasher checked off, we do not have a dishwasher. We have been calling and emailing all week and our only responses are that they will let us know what will be happening or that maintenance is "on their way" but they never come.

My daughter was to move into her apartment with 4 other girls. When we got there, an exterminator was onsite due to a flea infestation we were never told about, the apartment looked like it needed a good cleaning and there was black mold in a closet. No one answers emails or phone calls when you try and report things. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from any property managed by these extremely unprofessional individuals

Terrible property management group. In most cases, they are not owners or landlords themselves and only manage a property as a middleman to make profits off of college students and drive out locals in Philadelphia from their long-term neighborhoods. MK management nickel and dimes you for anything and everything. Move in and your shower won't drain on the first day? They'll charge you $40 to come unclog it even though it should have been checked and dealt with before new tenants moved in. $1500 per unit, that's $300 per person for cleaning fee after move out. Terrible experience with MK. Was told when we moved in everything would be cleaned, this wasn't the case. The bathrooms were still disgusting and trash in the backyard. On move in day the one toilet was broken, one of the showers water wouldn't go down, the lock on the gate was broken, and lastly the air doesn't work. It's been almost a month and our air conditioning is still not fixed, every time we call they said "they'll come tomorrow." Do NOT rent with MK, they will never fix your ac.

If you're a student at temple university looking for off campus housing- avoid using MK Management at all costs. My air conditioning has been broken for most of the summer and water has been leaking through the floor and the issue is still not resolved (it's the 2nd week of August)- making the apartment basically unlivable. Someone came to "fix" it but water still is coming through the walls- causing more damage than before. Every time I call them no one has answers. They promise to call me back and never do. They won't take students requests seriously unless you threaten

Absolutely horrible, do not rent from MK. They do not respond to maintenance requests and when they do, they either come without any tools, over charge, or mark it as fixed and never do anything. Multiple times my room has flooded because they refuse to put in a new drain. They sent over actual professionals before who told me the drain that is a circle shower drain, should be a 12in x 12in drain. MK never had them come back so whenever it rains i cannot leave my apartment without the drain clogging and possibly flooding my room. Save yourself the aggravation. They do not care about their tenants

The absolute worst property management company I have rented with. My air broke three times throughout my lease and each time it took them 2 or more weeks to repair, mind you this was during the summer months and the apartment would reach up to 88 degrees. They do not respond to maintenance requests and do not care about your living situation. I could continue discussing the ways in which they were awful but I think August without air for two weeks suffices. They are the WORST. Save yourself the trouble and find something else.

Even better update. When moving in the microwave handle was broken off, paint and dents were splattered on the floor, and outlet covers were missing. All things MK never bothered to fix before they sold off the property. So, in the end, I was charged for ALL the damages they caused. And when I called to ask to pull up the conversation I had with them on the portal, they said they couldn't "access" the portal anymore. This place is a SCAM. Way to screw over students.
