VINCI School offers private education services to children 16 months to 12 years of age. Our age groups include Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary. VINCI School utilizes a Blended Learning approach, integrating Montessori, Reggio Emilia Creative Learning, and developmentally appropriate technology.
Each child's progress, both socially and academically, is tracked using an advanced database system which also enables families to follow their children's everyday learning. We are proud that our students excel no matter what school they go to after VINCI. They are curious, confident, and capable! VINCI Infant Care & Learning Program adheres to recommendations by American Association of Pediatrics for safe sleep and care.

Services
5 Continuously improving our programs and processes via reflective thinking and professional development. 6 Designing a daily schedule which enables both teacher-led and child-led activities, using STEM and Art in parallel to literacy to invite children's interest and excitement. Each child is different.
VINCI Schools strive to be technologically advanced schools. Technology tools - learning management, online reading and Math resources, family communication - are utilized to empower students' achievement. Each week, teachers schedule courses according to VINCI skill-based learning curriculum. Student progress is recorded by the teachers, and observed by the parents EVERY DAY!
VINCI Infant Care & Learning Program has been developed to incorporate daily Sensory and Motor exercises in addition to taking care of feeding and napping needs. While Safety is always at the top of our Top Priorities, Infant classrooms are equipped with additional safety measures. All of the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations for safe sleep are rigorously followed.
Sensory-driven experiential learning helps toddlers to capture concepts, as at least 3 senses - vision, hearing, and touch - are mobilized to deliver information to the brain. The focus on expression enhances the understanding, as toddlers utilize their limited vocabulary and knowledge, trying hard to "show and tell".
Students are offered a Montessori-like setting, which is characterized by Freedom of Movement (within the limits), Guided Choices, and Meticulously Arranged Montessori Activities & Materials. Beyond Montessori 3-period Lessons, specific time periods are allocated for collaborative learning, with the emphasis on expression and reflection.

The school is very good, but is completely paralyzed by COVID and an inability to get over it. Dr. Dan refuses to plot any kind of course to return to normal operations as other schools around the country have been doing for almost a year now.
They've recently - after two years without - decided to start forcing little kids to wear masks all day. They close at a moment's notice and of course do not provide any kind of refund for their self imposed policy of closing for essentially weeks at a time.
Don't enroll your kid until things are back to normal, you certainly won't

What a horrific institution this place has proven to be. During our initial visit my husband, daughter and I walked right into the front door of the daycare. No one was in sight. There was no one running the front office for 15 minutes as we waited. This is an immediate safety concern. Babies were sleeping in several rooms near the front office! Additionally I heard babies crying and screaming at the top of their lungs for 15-minute durations before anyone tended to their needs. How does this place stay open? If you care about your child, do not take them here. These people

Do not send your child here if you're concerned about Covid or if you seek a school that provides clear communication! We planned to send our 2nd grader but withdrew after attending a very disorganized orientation. It is not safe to sit two unmasked children at a small table FACING EACH OTHER for 30 minutes while eating lunch. I do not recommend this school!

Please allow me to provide context before I cut and paste email exchange between the Director of Vinci and her Associate "Wendy." My 2 year old started on 9/1/21, first day of daycare, I dropped him off at 8:15am,. it was a rough drop off as my son had never been exposed to a daycare setting/environment prior to 9/1/21. He has been home since birth with a nanny. Shortly after drop off I received a call from "Wendy" she stated that my son was having a difficult time going down for naptime. My response; "Okay...... as I stated before he had never been exposed to a daycare

Stay away. Explore other options. Dr. Dan closed the N. Fairfax location providing parents with 3 days notice during Covid. Then, she demanded payment for a 1/2 month tuition even though she already laid off all her support staff off.

The N. Fairfax location does not have a dedicated playground, but parents receive no reduction in fees due to the liability cost savings.

Vinci School has been amazing for the intellectual development of both of my children. The curriculum is based on research and brain development and all of the activities and themes reinforce the curriculum. The teachers are caring towards the children and are professional, educated teachers who have years of experience. The administration is helpful, available and willing to work with you to ensure your kids have the best experience. The food they serve is really healthy, high quality food that is catered in hot and fresh each day so you don't have to worry about your kids eating CRAP at

My daughter started at Vinci when she was 18 months old. She attended another nearby daycare prior to starting. The transition to Vinci was very smooth and easy on my daughter. They took the extra time to help her adjust. The teachers in the Jr Toddler classroom are amazing and my daughter loves going to school. I can't praise the teachers enough. I highly recommend this school.

Our son has been at Vinci for about a year and we have seen him blossom there! The teachers seem to REALLY care about him. The administrators are dedicated and friendly too. And the owner, Dr. Dan, while sometimes a little unconventional by American standards, holds her staff to exceptionally high standards, is very involved and really cares about child development and the quality of the education. As a result of being at Vinci, our son is less shy and better at making friends; eats a better variety of food than before (including veggies) because of the really high quality, diverse food options

While impressive with arguably great cost-benefit. I was disappointed. We attempted to enroll our child at the location closest to our home, but was told that there were not slots available. We opted for the center a bit further from our home and consequently more inconvenient. Our son was scheduled for an evaluation process. As our family is bilingual and our child's primary language is not English, we expected a bit of difficulty in interaction and adjustment. The initial engagement and interactions with the staff was pleasant and we were convinced that our child would be nurtured an educated

We had our son here for about a year from the age of 2 to a little over 3. He was part of the first wave of kids to enroll since they were just opening up the facility. We recently decided to take him out of the school and look for an alternative option. I have somewhat mixed feelings about the place since it's not all negative and some of the reason for us taking him out of the school is not the school's fault. On a positive note, their pricing is good, the facility is well taken care of and some of the staff is very friendly. That said, I can't recommend Vinci based on our

No filter, this school is not the school for children of color. Your child's behavior is looked at as hostile if they hit a child, but if another child hits/pushes yours, it's playing and appropriate. They are freaking toddlers, learn to handle them or cut your class ratio. Then to top it off, they classified my child as defiant, violent behavior and a little of negative undertones terms used in institutionalized racism. Which when everyone else. Who has had interactions with him including other parents, teachers, etc. They all were shocked to hear such language being used of a child they were familiar
