I live in the Bodine Building and we switched building managers to Prairie Shores about three years ago and things have gone incredibly well since. We'd had lots of leaking every major rain storm and they immediately focused on sealing the building. Within a few storms they'd made sure that the masons and roofers had found everything. It went from a complete disaster with buckets needed each storm to none of us having any penetration. We had also used large special assessments every few years. Prairie Shores pushed to keep up with projects and focus on our budgeting. We haven't had a special assessment

Rogues and sneaky thieves.
They tried to steal $400 during the closing of my condo by hiding it in the fees they charge for closing documents. My attorney caught it at the last moment and stopped the title company from crediting them that amount.
They did not stopped there; the closing of my condo occurred on the 9th so that day their authorization of automatically withdrawing the monthly assessment charges stopped but after 21 days on the 1st of the following month they went ahead and quietly stole $473 dollars from my checking account. I am abroad and got the message from my bank about the

I have been living in a Prairie Shores managed building for over a year now, and have no complaints.
They make mistakes like we all do, but correct them promptly. Richard has some really good recommendations for electricians etc.
Honestly just making a review to point out that most of the negative reviews, are errors. They meant to review a rental building by the same name. Unfortunate that PSMC is being affected by people being dinguses and not clicking the right thing.

On Sunday, July 26, 2020 as a resident in Building 2851 went to the Laundry Room located in the Lower Level, I was loading money onto my laundry card when I noticed that the machine wasn't working( be advised this machine never been working since I moved into the building).
I was informed last month by an individual in the office, to bring your card then we will add it to your rent, no problem. Today Sunday, an short young female approached the door without a mass on, I had my mass on then she immediately informed me with a nasty attitude you don't have to knock on the door like that give us time

My tour of the property was very nice, But I was not sold on the apartment the website said renovated, but you get there and they are not renovated. My leasing agent Tonia was amazing!!! But for the other lady that was in the office with her, the African American woman, she made me feel very uncomfortable, she was not very friendly and gave me the third degree twice, about coming to the property and getting let in by the residents. Well, ma'am if you or someone on staff would of answered the intercom system and or the phone the tenants would not have let me in. No potential client wants to hear

One of the happiest days of my life was selling my condominium in a Prairie Shores managed building. The positive reviews here are mostly (but not all) fake. Just click on the person’s name to see their other reviews. Why would someone only write glowing reviews for property management companies, roofers, and other businesses all over the country? Because they’re paid to! Go to a site like Yelp that’s better at filtering out the junk.
Prairie shores is great for capital projects. But that’s the only plus. Otherwise, get ready to deal with a management companies that lies to the board and

The team there, especially Galina, is top notch. They are both perfectly professional and very nice to deal with. I was always treated with respect and made to feel that the apartment was my home, not just someone's income property. I can recommend Prairie Shores Property Management without reservation. Galina is responsive, friendly and gets things done. I can't say enough about how great she was to work with over all of these years!

I am actually the association president for my association and I have to say that I completely disagree with the review from Anita G. She is a disgruntled unit owner whom the Association's Board of Directors are currently in litigation with (public knowledge). In the end, the management company hired is there to ensure the association's business, upkeep and well being of the buildings within the association are successfully managed. That is what Prairie Shores does best. They understand what needs to be done and have great vendors that the association is looking forward to working with to resolve
