Whether you are buying or selling a new or old home, having it inspected can help protect you from unexpected surprises. Your whole house inspection will include a thorough evaluation of the exterior and interior. You will receive a complete narrative report including pictures & descriptions of all inspected systems.
Our reports strive to be easy to understand for everyone involved. Areas of primary concern are added to a summary at the end of the report which can serve as a guide to you when choosing what to focus on. We try to include pictures whenever possible to help you see the problem yourself. If you ever have questions about your report, you can call us for more information.
The Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) requires that anyone who inspects more than one component of a building or structure must have a CCB license and be an Oregon Certified Home Inspector (OCHI). Certified Inspectors are required to provide a written report of their findings for fee paid inspections.
Matt Hopkins is no stranger to houses, new and old, with all of their problems and potential glory. Since studying Architecture at Hampshire College, he has spent the last 9 years working in architecture, salvaging materials at The Rebuilding Center, and remodeling homes. While working in architecture, he gained experience with residential and commercial construction.
