Welcome to THI, a unique Home Inspection Company based in Portland Oregon and San Diego California with over 19 years' experience in home inspections, and prior to that over 17 years in the building, contracting and architectural fields. Our inspectors are licensed, bonded and insured and will provide you with a full service home inspection experience unlike any other.
Homes over 3500 sq ft: Additional charges apply depending on number of systems panels, HVAC equipmentetc. Basic pool inspections (Visual inspection of pool equipment, pool and decking, as well as electrical panel.) The sole purpose of a re inspection is to ensure that all work has been completed as requested by an official Repair Addendum.
One Year Warranty Followup - Schedule your walk through early! THI will provide you a check list to use. This list will contain items of likely concern. Check what applies and write down your concerns. Our home inspector will accompany you on the walk through. We'll take pictures of areas of concern that need to be addressed by the builder.
Consulting Services - Contact THI if you experience any issues or get concerning information from contractors hired to perform work on your home. Ongoing Services - As always, THI will assist in case of unforeseen issues after our clients have moved into their new home. This service remains free of charge!
I spoke with Esme today. She conveyed to me the impression that overall this was not a very bad inspection given the age of the home. Only wanted to talk with you if you had any particular concerns. Your report is remarkably thorough especially with the PP presentation. Best I have seen in several real estate transactions.

We spoke with both Marks during the inspection process (and afterwards) but Mark S was the one who performed our inspection. Mark was thorough and took the time to explain everything to us after he did his walk through including how to prioritize. He has made himself available for questions even way after we bought the house. As new homeowners, it has been a relief to know that we can reach out to them with questions when we don’t understand things or when people come door to door trying to sell us services we don’t need. We’ve referred to their detailed report over and over as we get settled
