Patricia Marie began training as a hair stylist at the age of 18. After completing her training she was given the opportunity to work at one of Chicago's most prestigious salons. Patricia remained at this salon for the next 13 years. Over that time she continued to develop her skills and eventually her hard-work and expertise payed off as she became the Education Director for three salons.

Recently received a haircut at 707 for the first time and I absolutely love it! I’ve had my hair long for years and finally decided it was time for a change and a shorter style. They did a wonderful job for a basic men's haircut. Reasonably priced for an excellent service. The owner of the store cut my hair and made the experience really pleasant and comfortable for me. And I am usually not that comfortable when some stranger is cutting my hair but she just kept talking in a calm voice which I really enjoyed. I forgot her name, I think Patricia? But she was great, will likely go back.

I recently got a gorgeous balayage from Eliot who took the time to educate me about how the process worked and helped me figure out what I wanted. Growing up with curly hair as a dude is pretty tough because hardly anyone knows how to properly cut it. I've gone to countless hair stylists and usually walk out feeling pretty disappointed. That all changed when I met Eliot Munro. He is an absolute maestro when it comes to cutting curly hair. His knowledge and attention to detail when it comes to curly hair is second to none, and I felt like I was in a great spot from the moment I walked in to his studio. For as long as I live in Chicago, I will only go see Eliot at 707 to get freshly chopped.

Worth every penny! Got a men's cut, my hair is curly/wavy. Spent most of my life cutting my hair very short because if I didn't it would just puff out. Got a hair cut with Elliot (who also has curly hair). He took the time to tell me what I need to do, cut the hair in a way so that it didn't puff out. He suggested a styling product without shoving it down my throat. The cut itself was exactly what I asked for, but fit for my face. Elliot and his wife seem very passionate about their business, very happy to be a small part of their success!

Just had a haircut with Eliot and I can’t say enough good things about this business. He took his time and gave me exactly the haircut that I asked for. He is an incredibly kind and caring person. Elliot is great. And I should know, because we spent over 3 hours together while he did a keratin treatment and haircut for me. I dread small talk at the salon, but he was really genuine and I never felt awkward, the entire afternoon. He was so thorough and careful, even though my hair is so thick it must have been a nightmare to get through.
It was my first time getting Cezanne keratin (I've gotten Keratin Complex before and Brazilian Blowout) and I'm really pleased with it. Also love the super cute cut he gave me (watch out world, I had been cutting it myself during the pandemic..

Thank you for under appreciating my visit and feedback. I kept my objectivity out of it and focused on the service. To be clear Tara and I had a very genuine conversation about the matter, she apologized, I told her there was no need, it wasn't her fault. I tipped her on the full price of the service and thanked her. It wasn't until I got back from vacation that I was upset that all my lashes fell off. How lovely it would have been to have gotten a call from the owner telling me they do in fact hire BIPOC folks and that they'd make up for the poor service. But alas. Tara I hope you

Elliot is awesome. I'm a 35 year old guy, and I've always gone to barbers. I've never even considered going to a salon. I recently moved to Lincoln Park, and have gone through 3 barbers since the move. None of them could quite figure out what to do with my hair. One of the best salons I've stumbled upon. I would recommend my family and friends to them any day! Elliot turned my hair from a mop to a GD Pantene model. I cannot thank him enough. I became a client after a breakup I was going through and he got me through one of the toughest points in my life.
He introduced me to the real meaning of Right As Rain. Enlightened my soul to some real wisdoms all while introducing me to some killer favorites from the band Palace. (Speaking of, definitely give a listen to Elliots music on Apple Music/Spotify, it'll be well worth your time)

I went in today to get my lashes done by Tara and I am obsessed! Not only do they look perfect, but she made the entire process so comfortable and painless. I can't wait to go back for my fill! She was also so
helpful and gave me some *much needed* hair suggestions; I have an appointment scheduled with her in a few days and can't wait lol. The salon is decorated so well and is so cool looking but also really comfortable and inviting. If you want some pretty lashes or pretty hair, do yourself a favor and go to Tara :-))

I was long overdue for a haircut but worried finding a new stylist since moving to Chicago. Tara was able to squeeze me in with Eliot for a same day appointment much to my delight.
Coming in, everyone was so personable and the ambience was perfect to unwind in. I showed Eliot some reference photos and he was able to match my hair to a T. I was super impressed with how well my hair turned out; hands down one of the best cuts I've ever gotten.
