I know the Owner of a Property He inspected. I LIVED in the property over the past several years on and Off. He obviously does not know how GFI works because I could NOT Make toast after he left......he said in report that this outlet did not work?? I pushed the button in and it works. The Light in the lower level worked prior to the inspection however the Junction box in the attic had been (dislodged for some reason) messed with! We reconnected wires and the light works fine now. Just like it did before he inspected. BUT Not when I arrived back after the inspection. He was impersonal and un responsive

Matt was suggested to me by my realtor. He did an incredibly thorough inspection: testing every outlet, contorting himself into various pretzel-like shapes to get into hard-to-access attics, taking the covers off of appliances and electrical boxes. He found small, but important issues that I wouldn't have known about until much later and after a lot more expensive damage. I'm so very glad that I didn't waive an inspection on this property. I have worked with quite a few home inspectors in the past and Matt is by far the most thorough, punctual and professional. He was able to point out many subtle issues as well as apply common sense solutions to scenarios which may not be particularly serious in nature. The inspection was done at 3 pm and before I went to sleep, I had the report in my email inbox. The peace of mind of walking through an unfamiliar home with a professional is worth every penny. I’ll never understand why people would be willing to forgo an inspection. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the DMV area

Excellent service--he was able to come out the next day after I called and offered a very competitive price. And he did not try to upsell other tests (in fact, advised how I could do a radon test on my own more cheaply given the nature of the inspection). He was thorough and patient and explained everything very well. And the very detailed report came within a couple hours of the conclusion of the inspection. He provided a free book on home maintenance too as well as recommended contractors. Great service!
