Cornell is the founder and owner GBC Fitness. He has over 20 years of training experience. His training started off in the typical one on one setting with clients ranging from 13 years old to 80 years old. He's taught weight training at colleges and universities, and he's been a strength and conditioning coach for Dominincan University's Volleyball and Tennis teams.
Get your mark in our group training classes which holds a maximum of 15 people per class. The foundation of our classes are based on core strength, cardio, and overall body strength and built to help you Go Beyon Comfort. Currently there are 17 group training classes per week to choose from. Contact us to try a class for free!

If you are looking for a great workout that makes you sweat a lot, and feeling so strong afterwards then GBC IS YOUR PLACE! We always get our marks!
Great environment to workout especially in the parking lot. You have your very own spot. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful, and fun to be around.
Cornell provides cleaning spray bottle to clean your equipments and towels to dry them. And GBC MASKS AS WELL! Thank you Cornell for what you do!

A friend referred me to Cornell Bass, his studio is GBC. I am so glad he did. I wanted a personal trainer that would cater to my needs and adjust to my limitations. Cornell did just that. Also helped me by using my iPad to video the exercises he selected for me. It has been great to be able to use the video, it reminds me how to do the exercises properly. Anyway, if you want to get the most out of your workout, I recommend Mr. Bass.

I am happy a friend referred me to Cornell. I met him for a private session to create a 15 minute routine I could do at home, focusing on my weak areas.

I am pleased he could cater to my needs. When he suggested an exercise I felt I couldn't do, he easily offered an alternative.

Cornell knows his stuff, just look at him, you see he practices what he preaches and what is possible. Not only knowledgeable with workouts, but nutrition too, the whole package. He is enthusiastic and wants to motivate you, just what you need in a trainer.

I like that his studio is small, you get more personal

I’ve been weight training for 20 years with multiple trainers from all of the best fitness centers, but Cornell is by far the best. The location is not convenient for me because I live and work in Mill Valley, but the drive is well worth it. Cornell is masterful at showing you how to connect your mind with your body to achieve optimal results. He is also amazingly fit himself - a real inspiration - and one of my favorite people.

GBC Fitness is a great place. Cornell knows fitness and weightlifting in and out. He is encouraging and supportive in all aspects of fitness including the nutritional side. I would highly recommend GBC Fitness to anyone looking to get stronger!
