Worst hotel ever! As soon as we got to the hotel’s reception we came across 03 other guests who were having all kinds of problems with the hotel, including a couple who were complaining that the room’s window wouldn’t close and at the same time the wife was injured because the shower drain was lose and she had tripped over it. One other guest as she left the hotel whispered to me that the place was horrible and that I shouldn’t stay there. Apart from that, customer service is terrible: we had issues paying the resort fee of the hotel, which costs 34usd per day and the receptionist wouldn’t

I haven’t stayed there yet but booked the hotel for upcoming vacation in December and already having issues. Trying to reach the staff is like winning a lottery, no one picks up the phone and the one time Finally someone picked up the phone they were rude. I booked a non refundable reservation and having trouble canceling it. They are not willing to help me!!!! There is 4 of us traveling and the sleeping arrangements won’t work and the hotel won’t accommodate. Please don’t book with these people. I will be posting more on social media to make sure they will never get another booking again

Had an incredible stay at the Greenview hotel! We arrived 10 hours before our check in time and we're assisted by Sujey, the manager. She was amazing! She made an exception and allowed us to check in earlier. I have no idea what we would've done if it weren't for what she did. Amazing service, would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

I really liked how local the hotel is, it was very convenient for me it was close by to everywhere.
I also liked how clean the hotel is including my room and the bathroom. I felt comfortable and at ease.
The receptionist named Laura was very kind and welcoming, she helped me book the rooms and also allowed me to check in early which was very relieving after a long trip. It was greatly appreciated. (One thing they must be improve on is to have a guest service to pickup the phone, I tried calling multiple times from my room and there was never an answer).

Worst hotel service ever. We booked in advanced through Expedia and check-in was at 4:00PM. We arrived at 5:30PM and the room wasn't ready. The hotel clerk was rude, not helpful and blamed the client for the unavailability of their own service. When asked if there was any option to take, she responded that cancelling was the only one. Keep in mind this is not our town, we traveled all the way to Miami and didn't have anywhere else to go. We ended up figuring it out, but not because of their help. Also, apparently the room available for us was handicapped and it still wasn't ready. One hour and

It was horrible I didn’t stay they had roaches and the pictures online doesn’t look how the hotel looks in person. It’s dirty and old I’m fighting to get my refund because I never stayed I left immediately after looking at the room! I want me refund back they stood $451 and they refuse to give me my money after the manager herself promised me I would get a refund ! I’m contacting an attorney! I’m tired of fighting for my money back! I’m pretty sure all of the good reviews are lies

I hate it there, they did not provide any of what they told us (towels, beach chairs, private area on the beach) they had bad costumer service and even wouldn't return the money we paid as deposit. We saw roaches on the main floor entrance. And they don't have their own parking also just saying I dropped a drink on a towel and they charged me $50. The cost of staying here is not worth it.

This has to be the dirtiest nastiest hotel I've ever stayed at out of all the cities I've ever traveled to. Upon arrival I was informed there is a $300 fee if the sheets, comforter, pillowcases, towels, or wash clothes were stained. Ok that's first. Then I step on the elevator which is about the size of small closet only one person and one suit case is able to fit at a time. It's an old and rickety elevator at that and I see that there inspection expired 06/20/2019. The date I arrived was 5/29/2021. I get to my room and it's nothing like the pictures in the website. I will start by saying if you like prison this is the place for you. I've been and my room and bathroom were in fact better. Good luck fitting in the bathroom if you are not a small child. The air conditioner sounds like a plane is taking off in the room and it smells. 100% almost broke the bed it's that flimsy

This was the WORST experience I have ever encountered with any hotel and with hotels.com. On our first day Transportation was supposed to be included from the airport to the hotel. This was not in operation, yet it is was still advertised on hotels.com and on the hotels website. When we entered the elevator after checking in, the two of us could barely fit in the elevator with our suitcases (we are thin enough). When we entered the room, the floor was dirty and sandy. I noticed it because I took my socks off to take a shower. The two beds in the room could only accommodate a single person each

I want to start off this review by saying that I don't often leave reviews of places but I felt it was my civic duty to share how terrible this place is.
To start off, when you get there, you have to pay to park in a public lot with limited spaces with high rates.
Next, entering the lobby, the first impressions was it smelt of mold and gave me American Horror Story vibes.
The rooms were small, dirty, moist, and smelt like mold. Oh, i turned a light on and it blew the fuse.
Next, the bathroom. Dont even get me started with the bathroom. Lets just say i felt dirty after taking a shower

They stole a package from me and they are impossible to contact either through email or phone. (Phone won't even allow you to leave a message or get to the front desk & email gets rejected). The package they stole from me was very important to me, and I think my only shot is to fly to Miami to physically take it back.
They could have passed the package on to me, or they could have refused to accept the package, but as it is, they accepted it and then kept it without passing it on.
As you can see I'm livid that they would steal from me.

We stayed in Miami Beach before our cruise and we were supposed to stay at the Berkeley Hotel but they had no rooms for us so they put us over at their sister property the Greenview Hotel. Our room was very large and extremely clean for being an older art deco hotel. Our stay included free breakfast in the morning. Maria at the front was extremely accommodating during our whole trip always making sure we had everything we needed. Next time in Miami definitely a hotel we would stay at.

Positives: Great location in Miami Beach. Polite receptionist.
Negatives: BUGS and (at least one) COCKROACH.
When my friends and I checked in, I immediately noticed that the hotel was older. I don't mind old as long as it is well-maintained. My only requirement when booking a hotel was clean and no bugs. While walking to our room, I noticed that the window treatments were dusty, the hall carpets were extremely old and stained, and a cockroach was roaming the stairwell on the second floor. As a former Floridian, I know my bugs, and this creature was a cockroach at least one and a half inches

This hotel is horrendous. If you stay here you will likely leave with a communicable disease. If you bring a roach or bed bug to the staff from your room, they laugh. The place smells like death, every surface is filthy, is the management consists of slimy scammers that don't care about anything once they have your money. Absolutely the worst place you could choose....DON"T DO IT.

I'm writing this review as we literally just checked out of this hotel at 4 in the morning. We stayed here for spring break, March 12th-15th. This hotel was a last resort if you would. We wanted to be closer to the beach than the hotel we booked at before and everything was expensive so this was worth the price. This is one of those you get what you pay for things. Our rate was $131/night plus $100 security deposit (you get it back). There's a cute little sitting area to sit at anytime of the day. The first and third floor smell decent. We however were placed on the 2nd floor and it smells

This place was horrible. Building is super old. Night shift receptionist hates his job. Free Breakfast is muffins and fruit. Not actual food. No central ac. Fungus growing on restroom tile and in showers with tiles missing as well. Cable has a weird commentary on the movie channels. Was never notified shuttles have to be booked 24 hours in advance. Much rather have spent 500 dollars for 3 nights any where else

This place was probably the worst hotel I've ever been too. There was a big roach right in the lobby. The room was dingy and the light was broken in our room. They say there's free breakfast. Then to get to the breakfast you have to go OUTSIDE of the hotel.. then down an alley into another building and up some very creepy stairs to finally get to this small minuscule room where they serve the breakfast. After all that, they only gave us two pieces of toast, a banana, and a crooisant. That is it. Please don't come here

Absolute worst place to stay in South Beach. Where do I begin? Well, the toilet did not work. I'm talking, it was clogged with feces upon arrival (3 pm) and when it was brought up to the front desk, they said it would have to WAIT until the morning because there was no maintenance. After asking for another room or even a discount he said we could use the lobby bathroom in the meantime. My husband just ended up asking for a plunger to fix it himself (which only worked for a little). The room was covered with ants. Under all the beds, in the closets, crawling around the bathroom. Very disappointing by my stay in this hotel.
It's expensive and rooms are small, not very clean, and not very soundproof. Internet is so slow that you'd better go to the nearest Starbucks.
We had a very bad experience with their valet parking. First, we had to wait for 30min for the car to be picked up. The guy made us pay right away ($20), and when we asked for our car back, they pretended we never paid and didn't want to give us back our key. It lasted 30min trying to make them understand we already paid, and finally when I threatened them that I would call the police they gave

We were attending a concert at the Fillmore and decided to spend Friday night at Greenview. We live in Miami but didn't want to drive home afterward. But we didn't want to pay SoBe prices just for a shower and bed.
We were a little skeptical having read the other reviews. What a pleasant surprise. The young lady at the front desk was super sweet and gave us a nice room overlooking Washington Ave. The room was clean, cooled and big enough for our needs. The parking valet worked great and worth the $20 if you don't mind the 20 minute lead time.
