Ever been catfished? The online pictures of this hotel are incredibly misleading. Hotel is dirty, run down, and unsafe. As we checked into our room, there was multiple employees sitting on a bench in the hallway texting while we stepped over a band aid and other trash lining the hallway. The bed did not even have a blanket, nor do they offer blankets. Isn’t that a bare minimum requirement for a “hotel”? This is an overpriced hostel at best. Do not be fooled by their marketing.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It’s absolutely disgusting inside. The pictures on the website are sooooo deceiving. There are stains all over the floors and walls. Garbage in the hallways. They only provide you with a single bed sheet to sleep with (no blankets). We actually checked in and immediately checked out because it was so gross. Our room smelled like tuna fish and I got a rash on my skin just from sitting on the bed briefly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people yelling all night long. We tried repeatedly to get in touch with the manager and he hasn’t returned

An absolute nightmare and for sure the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The amenities are horrible, nothing like the pictures. There are countless non-identifiable stains on the carpet, mildew EVERYWHERE, and rooms are just plain dirty. If at least the staff were nice. Don’t let them bully you into paying additional “resort” fees when THERE IS NO RESORT. I wish there was a single good thing I could’ve included in this review but the bottom line is, this hotel has just ruined my time in Miami.

Not to recommend since rundown and nothing works: wifi only works occasionally, TV didn't

When we arrived at Townhouse, we were greeted extremely unprofessionally. We were charged an extra $180+ for a “resort fee” on top of the $200 hold, which wasn’t explained. Assuming the fee was for services like room restock, clean up, and breakfast service?
We walked into a room with a bed unmade. No covers. After walking around the room we saw the visible stains on the pillow cases and sheets, the floor was filthy. When we called for a blanket for the bed they brought us yet another dirty piece of linen.
None of what we assume the “resort fee” consisted of was provided without having

If you want a dirty and loud room to stay at this is the place you go to. The room we stayed at was filthy. You could tell that they barely put any effort in cleaning the place. The counter has this sticky stain that I was afraid to even put my stuff down. There were hair from previous stayers. My bf wanted to move to a different room but at this point I was so tired and cranky from the flight and heat that I just needed to shower and sleep.

The walls were very thin so you could here the upstairs people while they walk in their heels and talk. Not a great place to stay if you're tired and

Friendly staff, cleaning lady was a sweet heart. The sheet (yes the sheet) was never changed was told they only do that every.4 days. Witch turned out to be fine just different. The roof top bar/hang out area was described as broken. Lol a broken bar. The location is great very close to the beach. Would look around to see what's available elsewhere but would have no trouble returning.

From the minute I walked into this hotel the staff was not very friendly. We asked for early check in and the guy at the counter told us no rooms were ready and to come back at noon. We came back and the room was still not ready, he told us to come back at 2. When we were finally able to check in we stood at the counter for 30 mins while the young girl tried to process our payment for the deposit. Room is very tiny and the bathroom is even tinier. The next day at 9am the housekeeping lady was knocking on the door, I answered and told her we're still sleeping to come back later that day and

Close to the beach. Great. But I asked for my room to be cleaned (sand sheets changed etc. ) I left a tip. Came back and my bed was made but with the same sheets. I feel like I'm experiencing some type of passive aggressive treatment from Hispanic people. Am I the only one experiencing this? White people give rave reviews for the same places yet I'm being given bad service. What's happening?

The room itself was clean and the shower was nice and hot. The ac did appear to be leaking just a bit, but it wasn't an inconvenience. The cleaning staff walked in on my boyfriend changing after we got there. When we went to the rooftop and restaurant downstairs, they were both closed and off limits. All in all I was glad to have a clean room, but for what we paid I wish we could have used the rooftop and gone to the restaurant.

Rooms smell like cigarettes and Wi-Fi isn't working, and the windows don't open so you can't even air it out. Hotel front desk isn't helpful at all. It's clear why it's only $40/night but it's not even worth that.

Ok so how is this not false advertising? "taxes and fees" plus "fees due at the hotel" are over 40% of the cost of the entire stay...
I would advertise it as a free room. Then you get their. Oh its $300 in fees and taxes plus an additional fee called "we don't know what the F#@% for" of $600. So that will be $900 due at the hotel. Congratulations on your free room!!!
How is this not steeling?

First off this place is very cute.

However when I booked it, it was advertised as $47 online.

When you get here, there is a $100 deposit fee AND a $39 room cleaning fee, which was not stated at time of booking.

So I can only say it is false advertising, but I ended up really liking the place because it is literally 10 min walk from the beach....I went to the beach and fell in love.

So stay here! As long as they are not going to be leeches on my deposit fee, I actually do recommend this place. But maybe it is time to be honest and just charge the $70! I would still stay here. . . .

Definitely not worth the price you pay. Better off staying at a different hotel in the area for the same price. First, booking confirmation email talks about Valet Parking and when you get to the hotel there is clearly a Valet Parking sign in front with no one there. I had to call when I arrived for them to tell me the hotel doesn’t have valet parking.
Second, towels are absolutely horrible. They literally feel like sandpaper, bring your own.
Third, they don’t give you a blanket. You have to call down to get one. Mini fridge doesn’t keep things cool at all, you’re better better off leaving

I'm torn on this place. The one thing that sealed this at a three star review max was the price. Granted we came on a holiday weekend but man... The prices sure weren't SLS or Ritz rates but man this place was booked from a third party site as a three star hotel. This is not a three star hotel. They clean sheets every three days, the rooms are not cleaned well, and further details may just steer you away from this place entirely. Pics may too. That being said, if you're willing to advocate for yourself the front desk men are generally receptive to helping you out. So if you&apos

This is not a luxurious hotel at all, but it definitely met my expectations. I spent most of the day outside and only slept and showered at the hotel. The staff is super helpful and respectful. The rooms are small, but clean, and the bed is comfortable. The shower is really nice, too! Great water pressure. The hallways are sketchy, a blast to the 60s--didn't bother me! The rooftop is cute and it's nice to relax w a drink in your hand. You're literally half a block from the beach. The hotel provides you with beach towels at the front desk. Their advertisement about having a mini fridge is a lie. We were informed on our arrival that their fridges don't actually get cold. We were offered a bucket of ice or I could put my medication in their refrigerator. Beds don't come with blankets. Completely misleading Priceline advertisement.

If you are looking for an excellent location in South Beach for a decent price, the Townhouse will get the job done. Perfect for young travelers who will be out and about the majority of their stay. Nowhere close to ideal if you are looking for a resort-y Miami hotel to hang out in. Try any of the neighboring hotels for that experience. The rooms are spacious, blank, and echoey. You will feel like you are staying in an insane asylum, especially in the mornings and evenings without the natural light. The TVs and lights are somewhat functional. However, the shower exceeded our expectations. Large

We had a booking on Expedia for two rooms. We had a cruise cancel out of Miami on March 22 because of COVID19. Expedia tried to work with them to get a refund or a future credit and we got no response. We were planning to come back and hopefully stay here but definitely won’t now. Our return hotel gave us a full refund no questions asked

I'm going to quote Miami CM, Diandra L. on this: "Is it luxurious? No. But is it exactly what you need if you are looking for a spot that you won't be spending too much time in? Yes." Townhouse was the perfect little hotel for a long weekend stay during SOBEWFF weekend.

It was in a prime location on Collins; less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, less than a 15 minute walk to most event venues we need to get to, and walking distance to plenty of cool restaurants and bars.

A few things that I loved:

What a wonderful stay! We rented a room for my wife's celebration, and we were not disappointed. For a reasonable price, we had access to two queen beds with body pillows (pretty comfy!) as well as a sofa and every other standard hotel accommodations. Valet parking was offered at about $36 a night--by comparison, I paid $16 for a few hours of street parking, so not too bad.

Rooms were quiet and the beach is right there! There is a rooftop bar and a ramen restaurant in the basement level. Oh, and as a nice surprise you get a nice townhouse beach ball.

Great value for price!

Location is fabulous. Rooms are clean and functional, pretty large size. A great place to stay if you are on a budget but don't want to stay at a hostel. They offer a welcome drink for two people for each day you stay. The resort fee covers use of a nearby gym (I didn't get to use it, as I spent my whole day biking), and beach equipment.

They easily let us store our luggage for the day, as our flight was at 9:30pm, and check out was at 11am. I would definitely stay with them again as at the price point of the hotel, I don't imagine any other hotel could do

So you get what you pay for! This place is VERY affordable so don't expect anything fancy. It does the trick. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, but we only stayed 2 nights so it was fine. This is a very stripped down, bare bones experience. At first I thought we didn't have a refrigerator, but behold, it's in the closet! This was a relief because I wanted to purchase some fruit salad and coconut water but didn't think I could store it. Later on I realized I could and ran to the store. Don't miss the closet! It's spacious with hangers, iron and ironing board

We stayed a couple of nights midweek at Townhouse. I picked this hotel was it was north South Beach where I haven't been, close to shopping, and the good comments I read about it. We booked online and paid about $140 Canadian/night. In the booking, I requested an early check in as we were arriving from a cruise.

The taxi ride from the port was just under $30. The street in front can get quite congested with cars and delivery vans. The taxi stopped in the road and we got out luggage. There were stairs to the doors so we lifted our luggage in. Then more stairs in the lobby so got another
