If I could give this place a 0 I would. At first I wasn't impressed but we were going to give a shot. It was relatively clean and convenient to where we needed to be. They had construction workers and employees coming and going on the roof. They claimed work up there started the day we left but we clearly saw construction workers on the roof the day before. On our last night there our room got broken in to from the window (access to the roof) and we had some expensive valuables stolen. The manger was less than helpful and wouldn't do anything to help. Not even give us any sort of compensation

This place used to be nice years ago. I can't believe how it looks now. It was bad right for us to lose paying for the night and booking a new hotel right away. The bugs that were all around were just ridiculous. The area around was also not the best looking area. Probably not thier fault but a huge homeless problem. We had booked a few rooms for a trip and paid way more for last minute booking at a best Western. I wish them the best of luck but I wouldn't go back.

This place could really use a deep cleaning inside and out. Room floors were incredibly filthy as were the carpets on outside hallways. Parking lot had all kinds of trash piled up. Had to have toilet seat replaced in first room we were given, but after the shower handle came off we were given a different room. Not to mention housekeeping never came around. Wish I had read the reviews on Yelp and not just on site where I booked it. Sad thing owners/management don't care. In reading the reviews I see issues are repetitive. They are operating out of code.

Very poor, I am super disappointed. I didn’t even stay the night, that’s how bad it disgusted me. I paid for nothing. My room was not worth what I paid for. The girl in the front was rude for no reason, which I understand people have bad days, but doesn’t mean you can take it out on others. I would not recommend anyone to stay here for sanitary purposes. please be safe, thank you

First off if I could NOT rate this place I wouldn't even give them one star. Doesn’t deserve that. I am very disappointed in the advertising of this hotel. Super dirty and disgusting. As soon as we walked into the room before we could put our things down I saw bugs EVERYWHERE! On the beds, walls and ceilings. My kids were terrified of the environment in general. This place should be shut down.

Our experience here has been good for the most part... positives about this hotel are: That their suite rooms are pretty affordable in comparison to other hotel rates given the size (seperate room plus kitchen) other attracting factors: the fact that they price match is pretty cool. Rooms are clean.they typically dont charge or complain about any additionl guests. There is a fold out sofa bed in the living room area for a third person.
As for Any or a few complaints... only one tv in both the suite rooms we stayed in recently as apposed to our first stay. Parking can get limited during peak days

From the staff, friendliness, location, view from the room, and food in the hotel to great service, this is a must stay! The doorman and the front desk staff were always very helpful with suggestions of where to eat, and the room was spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed. I may stay here again or explore other options very close.

For the price it was acceptable.
However the air-conditioning unit smelled like mildew and I called for them to check it and they never did. The key cards kept malfunctioning and I had to go downstairs and request more towels and toilet paper.
It was a good place to have a private stay in the heart of the city, however if you are sensitive to smells I would not recommend.

I was hesitant when I seen this place In LA on staying there because of what I read But I took a chance and stayed 2 Nights and was so glad that I took the chance !! I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The room was clean and did have a great bed and everything worked like it was suppose to . The Staff was very friendly from the moment I arrived to the time I checked out. It is not a five star hotel but it is one of the best deals in LA. I would definitely stay again.

3 day stay here.. going to need a chiropractor after this, and maybe 5 more hot showers. I will give credit that the kid at the desk gave us an upgraded room after telling them about the used soap, non working lamps and holes in the sheets of the first room.

The people who checked me in were wonderful very nice people. You can smoke in the room . PSA: you cannot check in until 3pm so watch the time. On a weird side street . this place is disgusting. Do not rent a room here even if it's super cheap. The walls aren't even painted they just use a wallpaper cover and it's coming off. The parking lot is spacious but dirty. Windows have no blocker so bugs can come in. The sheets was dirty! The toilet seat was dirty ! The mattress is a spring mattress and it's not very comfortable . Stay at your own risk !

So we were at universal studios and last min booked a room without looking at ratings and comments. Definitely 1star from me. There was blood splatter on the ceiling and wall.. me being a scary movie freak I'm thinking all kinds of crap about what went down in the room. There were stains in the sheets and the bed. My daughter read reviews about bed bugs being a "thing" there so she made me look to see if the beds had any. She literally wanted to fall asleep in the chair. The box for the cable was missing so we couldn't watch the tv and when we called the maintenance man he said

This was the worst hotel I've stayed at. I called to book and they told me to book online where you can pick your check in time. I picked 12 and got there at 12 and they said the room wasn't ready until 3. I had a fully packed car and dog and waited in the parking lot. I finally moved in and the room was filthy. The fridge had something rotting in it, and nothing was wiped down or sanitized. I cleaned my own room. It smelled like cigarettes so badly. They ended up switching rooms for me but unfortunately it was bigger. When I went to extend since I didn't have a place yet, they doubled

Ok I know this is not a big chain hotel deal but it is wicked cheap and good. The front desk is manned 24 hours there is security I. The parking lot and the location is great. I had no problem with the free parking and again that is a big deal in any city. My room is huge it's a king and two windows and I can see the Hollywood sign.
The bed firm and clean and I wish they had normal king bed pillows instead of stuffed cotton balls. Lol
It's my 2nd time staying here and I will be back !

This was by far the most DISGUSTING hotel I have EVER seen. Camping would've been a better option. The rooms look NOTHING like advertised on their website, sadly I did not look at their yelp reviews and pictures before booking it but I hope this helps other people. Everything in the room was stained and looked like it had never been cleaned, the carpet, the walls, the furniture...There was no bedspread on the bed and we took down the blanket in the closet and it was full of holes. No door on the closet. You did not need a black light to see how horrible this place was. It was so bad we were

I want to start off this review by saying thank you to Tony and really all the familiar faces you see on staff here. Over the past couple of years I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and each time my faith in the existence of hospitality is renewed.
I've read some rather gnarly reviews on Hotel Silver Lake that make me wonder if they made it to the right location or just how horrible those garbage people were to get a bad reception here....you can always tell but the review itself how legit the person is or of they're just unhappy people in general looking for something

So once again I didn't read the reviews smh and when I did ( ten minutes before I got here) I instantly regret booking this hotel. The bed bugs pics freaked me out. I'm only giving it two stars because one I didn't find any bed bugs and two they have cable and WiFi. So glad I don't have to stay but this one night. I would say if you can find something better do so, if not this is good for just laying your head down for a few hours and leaving.

AVOID THIS PLACE! BEDBUGS!!! We also saw cockroaches, and huge stains in the floor. The bathrooms were dirty with feces still present when we arrived. We booked through Hotels.com and we demanded a refund.
I took video that I have posted on YouTube. This hotel has its smoke detectors covered in plastic which was so dangerous we couldn't stay. We reported them to the Fire Marshall. Also they have received so many bad reviews they have decided to change their name to 250 Hotel to try to hide. Don't let them fool you. This place is unsafe and dirty.

Those three words cannot even come close to describe how horrible this hotel is. We checked in after a day of beer tasting with some friends. To be honest, it was very late, but we informed the staff that we would be checking in late and they assured us that would not be a problem. They even took the liberty of checking in for us.
As soon as we walked into our hotel room for the first time we put our over night bags down and immediately noticed an open condom wrapper on the floor. When I informed the manager about the issue he just shrugged his shoulders at me and said
