Update: after I posted this review, the owner sent me a very nasty personal message accusing me of lying. She said that she personally talked to me and agreed to a refund, which is true, but she cited the wrong day. She said we spoke on Saturday the 29th, which is false. We spoke on Friday the 28th. I posted my review on the 30th after seeing the ADDITIONAL charge on my credit card for the auto-renewal on the 30th. I wouldn't have written the review if it were not for all the trouble I had to go through to stop the auto-renewal, only to discover that I was still auto-renewed

I don't ever write reviews and I feel complied share how unprofessional my experience or lack there was of this spa. I am on my honeymoon and booked a couples message with Frais. We showed for an 11am appointment 10 minutes early with no one to greet us. After waiting 15 minutes no one was there. Another 15 minutes, we decided to leave.
Super disappointed and was so looking forward to our messages. I don't not recommend. Please avoid at all costs.

Massage 10/10. Ambience 10/10. Overall customer experience 20/10. This place is AMAZING!!! I've already recommended them to 3 people and my wife's friends are already talking about going again.
I booked a couple's massage for my wife and I but I couldn't make it. So her best friend and with her. I came here the day before to give them a bottle of Champagne my wife wanted to try and they stayed in contact with the entire to make sure I wasn't worried and to make sure my wife's day was special. Crazy thing was my wife didn't realize where she was going

I got a massage here as a gift from my daughter and it was absolutely wonderful. Michelle was my massage therapist and she is exceptional. The massage is the best I have ever gotten in my life . I came out of there feeling like a completely new person. Every single minute was outstanding. I don't know how Michelle had so much energy and strength to last the entire massage.
The facilities are so clean and serene. The women's locker room was very clean and I enjoyed the amenities.

Wow! Jennifer is magical. I feel like I should go back and tip her more. My back feels amazing and my skin is very radiant and glowy. You enter the hotel lobby and it's straight down the hall on the right hand side. The spas lobby chairs could use a carpet shampoo or remodel, as they are fairly stained and it almost de-values the place. My services, however were comparable to the Fairmont hotels and better than the Ritz Carlton! Attached you will find pictures. Including WiFi password. My only other complaint is the covers on the massage table for you head need to be changed.... Or they need

The one thing that all the one star reviews have in common is that the therapist do not show up at the time or at all. This happened to me where I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes trying to get a hold of front desk (which they don't have). The staff at the hotel let me know that this happens often and there wasn't anything they could do.
I gave up waiting and went back home. 3 hours past my originally appointment, they texted to reschedule.
I rescheduled deep tissue massage the same day and confirmed

Frais is a one of a kind spa. I have had massages here and every single time, I have never left disappointed. All the massage therapist have different techniques and have always met my needs. The spa is located in the O Hotel in DTLA. The owner is very nice. I would recommend Valerie for focusing on certain areas of concern and also Michelle who did my service today. She was amazing especially if you need a full body stretch and massage which I truly needed because I have been working out a lot lately.

My girlfriend and I got a couples massage package here on Groupon, and we weren't disappointed!
We arrived 30 minutes early for our private steam sauna and shower. Then we had a shared room massage with Jennifer and Michelle. It was a Korean style massage with lots of deep tissue action. Finished it up with a rose water foot soak and a little Ferraro Roche and champagne.
Other than some discarded water bottles and napkins in the waiting room, we felt like it was clean and good quality! Would recommend the Groupon to friends! Tip your masseuse; it's still a pandemic!

I highly recommend Frais Spa! I think it's the best massage spa in downtown Los Angeles! It was quiet simple for booking, I got a text message after I left a voicemail and it was simple and quick. Jennifer is the best massage therapist I ever met. I will definitely be regular. You can park at Ralph's(90 mins free parking with receipt) and get a drink after massage :)

Complimentary champagne while I wait for my massage, Friendly, clean, and most of all great massage therapist JENNIFER! Definitely will be back!

I purchased a Groupon and called to schedule an appointment. They texted me back instead of returning the call. I texted back immediately with no response and had to send a follow up text the next day. They were unprofessional and barely wanted to accommodate my inquiry. After having to push them to actually look for an appointment I realized I didn't want to patronize a business like this. I cancelled my Groupon because I shouldn't have to beg for an appointment.
