Super cute lobby and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The quirky "free beer" at happy hour was a a bit of an unorganized mess, but free beer was indeed had on more than one occasion and selection was great.
The breakfast cafe is surprisingly good, with a decent cappuccino and the breakfast loaded tater tots were not only pretty and camera ready, but actually tasted excellent too.
The room's bathroom was beautiful and well appointed, and also quite clean (aside from the shower head being caked over in mineral deposits, requiring me to massage it to get more than 5 streams of water..

The customer service here is absolutely UMMATCHED! The hostess was an angel, and seated us at a gorgeous table-We were very grateful for the perfect city view. Food was fantastic! My burger was perfect, and the cheese fries were immaculate. My friend had the roast chicken with purple mash and LOVED it! The crown jewel however was the plate of powdery and piping hot beignets served with delicious raspberry couli. Beyond excellent! 10/10!

I was very put off by the "hidden hotel charges" of $20 vouchers per day. These kind of fees should either be optional or should be included in the hotel booking. What these fees offered seemed ridiculous because after paying so much for the hotel I was told that I had to pay these additional fees and they would give me access to toiletries and a water bottle (basic stuff which literally every hotel provides).
The room we were placed in was a king sized bedroom and had barely any space to walk in. On top of that there was no closet and only hooks in the room to hang your stuff, and no minibar

The ambience in the rooftop was great. A couple major issues if looking for a brunch spot:
1) If you don't order the $69 brunch pre-fix menu, not all menu options are available. I could NOT order an eggs Benedict a-la-carte dish because items on the brunch pre-fix menu weren't orderable as stand alone dishes. Imagine going to brunch, and not being able to order a Benedict? Laughable. I was visiting from Vegas and arranged this brunch for a group of friends. It was embarrassing for me.
2) I also tried to order the pre-fix menu for myself (to address the menu option problem), but it required

A gem of a boutique hotel in DTLA! If you don’t need a pool, this the best boutique location in the city! Stellar service, fabulous speakeasy, spacious rooms, very comfy beds, huge TV (stream service is a bit funky and limited, but cable is fine). Wish the rooftop was more of an open bar atmosphere rather than restaurant-focused, but still very nice. Great spot!

Reception was friendly and listened to us. our neighbors were smoking cigarettes and it was travelling in our ac vents but they made sure to accommodate us. loved the general vibe of the hotel, and the amenities made it even better. the rooftop restaurant was cool, and the underground bar was very cozy. the breakfast was okay, liked that we got vouchers. they offer a free wine or beer everyday which was awesome. overall a great experience—we cancelled one of our hotels we were planning to stay in to stay at this hotel longer.

Really enjoyed my overnight stay. The hotel is super cute and modern. My room was quite tight and if I were staying for a long trip, might’ve been frustrating, but it was totally fine. The bed was very comfy.
The $20 resort fee gets you two free drinks during Happy Hour on the roof and $10 breakfast credit, so it wasn’t too big of a deal.
No parking at the hotel, but plenty of nearby garages. We parked at one that was $16/24hrs right across the street. Would happily return!

This is now the second time I've tried this restaurant, both times I've left without being served even water.
The first time, my husband and I were there for about 30 mins without a waiter coming to see us, despite reporting the issue to the hostess.
This last time, we were placed in an area without heaters during 50 degree weather. We waited it out and were not approached by a waiter for about 15 mins so we left again.
It seems like they genuinely don't want us to eat here.

Popped up to the rooftop one night with a friend. The hostess began to turn us away(even though there were open tables EVERYWHERE) right as we were heading out, Ahmad warmly and kindly greeted us. We told them we were heading out and he said "Why, you need a table?" He snagged us a great table near another party and made sure the server was aware of us.

Our server took our order, including a very specific and customized drink order from my friend. He returned to inform us the bartender could not serve the drink.

Ahmad returned and offered alternatives similar to what my friend requested

Came here on a Saturday early afternoon to try their 9-course meal brunch. If I had to be honest, it's more of a booze menu since they serve you a drink after each course. My favorite dish was called "First Bite" which is stuffed date, goat cheese, bacon and balsamic. I also enjoyed their "Berry" dish which was their granola, greek yogurt, toasted coconut, wildflower honey and berries. Everything for $69 not including tax/tip. You get a pretty view of downtown LA to top it off.

I was worried because the reviews for a lot of these places are all over the place. I loved it here. The staff was texting me before I arrived and very responsive via text, they even helped direct me to the best parking garage for overnight parking (next door to the building there is a garage for $25 a night) - a block away it's nearly $45. Whatever I needed they were able to address. The rooftop was also great, I went on a weeknight - no long wait for seating, service, or food. The food and drinks were great. I would definitely stay here again. Only thing that was weird was that when I paid for

Genuinelly nice staff!
Everyone was very welcoming, helpful and overall friendly, particularly at reception.
The hotel has a nice vibe to it, very modern, a bit hipster even, I would say.
I really appreciated the sustainable approach: the upkeep of the rooms doesn't happen during your stay unless requested, the complementary water came in a carton instead of a plastic bottle...
Definitely recommend!

An enjoyable spot for brunch. The hotel staff in the lobby were friendly, and you take the elevator up to level R to get to the Rooftop lounge. We made reservations online ahead of time and when we arrived early they were able to seat us. It's a fairly narrow but long terrace with tasteful decor. We were given menus upon sitting and our waiter promptly brought us water and explained the different menus to us. We chose the a la carte menu as we were not drinking but otherwise the multi course meal sounds fun.
We ordered the burger and burrito and both were decent. The burger was surprisingly

Fun and relaxing birthday dinner in DTLA!

Really liked the vibes of the rooftop! Compared to other rooftop bars in LA, it felt a little more laid-back which I prefer. Regardless, it's still pretty swanky!

The food was pretty great. We got the burger and it was cooked to perfection. It had bacon too which was a total win. Fries were delicious.

Ahi tartare is always good and this did not disappoint. The wonton crackers were the star of this dish.

Since it was my birthday, our waitress brought me beignets! This was truly the best part of the night. They were amazing. You got to dip them

Last Friday was our first time on this rooftop that we've been looking at from our window since we moved down the street from it a month ago. From our window the place looked vibrant and interesting. In person - the place was indeed vibrant and interesting. Yet the food was a letdown - hopefully just that night the quality wasn't there. However, our server Pedro F. did everything he could to make our experience better and we really appreciated how much he cared about us, our comfort and satisfaction. If everyone was dedicated to their job that much the world be a better place. My score

I was about to give 4 stars because we waited almost 45 minutes before a server greeted us. We had to tell the hostess no one had been by. However, our server Christopher and the manager 100% made up for that. The manager helped to get our drink orders in.

Beware! The drinks are strong! Just how I like them. I was definitely tipsy from two Frozés. Uber will be your best friend leaving from this restaurant.

From start to finish every single dish tasted amazing! We even asked for the chef to come out to give him his Kudos! Delicious Delicious Delicious! I loved everything I tried.

We came here at 5p before heading to a Lakers game at Staples Center. The elote was super yummy. Definitely must try. The beef tacos were a little spicy but the beef was tender and delicious. We really enjoyed the lamb. It was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was on point. The view is ok, and while service started out slow, the server was very nice. Reservations are recommended.

Hotel was very beautiful. Matt the bartender at Lily Rose was amazing and fun. Mark greeted us at the front register when we arrived. He was so much fun to be around! Rooftop bar was great and we had an amazing bartender up there that was fantastic!
Few things I didn't care for was the room temp stayed at a steady 75 degrees. Got really warm at night. The bathroom had motion lights which really weren't the best when someone got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I was really looking forward to seeing the eyes on the shades and our room didn't have them at all.
Overall though.

What do french fries, tuna, and mac and cheese have in common? Well at the Rooftop, I'm afraid to say they use the same sauce to dress all three dishes.

Sorry to say it but not the best rooftop bar/dining experience in DTLA.. All in all, despite the great service, friendly host staff, and gorgeous views of the downtown skyline, the food at The Rooftop does not just match the price point of DTLA skybars.

We ordered the Make Em Dirty fries, Ahi Tuna Tartare, Truffle Mac and Cheese, and the beignets and overall, I was incredibly underwhelmed with the taste. The fries, simply put, tasted like

The aesthetic of The Wayfarer DTLA was very nice, and the staff is extremely friendly and personable. The breakfast and restaurant experiences were excellent and the food was superb (the honey lavender chicken, truffle mac & cheese, and street corn are divine!). They even give you a two-drink voucher (redeemable before 6pm at the rooftop restaurant) and a $10 off breakfast voucher each day. However, some issues do need to be addressed, such as the ability to lower the thermostat in the room. It was uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the room during my stay. All of the lights, including the bathroom

My experience at Wayfarer Rooftop was excellent. I was greeted at the lobby and asked to wait so we could go upstairs. Within 4 minutes we were next.

We got to the top and were immediately escorted to our seats and sat with a great view. The bartender immediately came and asked us for our drink order. I ordered a piña colada. The bartender made our order and the drinks came out quickly. The drinks were nice and strong.

Shortly after another staff member came and asked dif we wanted any food. We were fine since we had just come from dinner at Bestia.

Bartender came back and we got our second
