After TBT Slidell was underway, a friend recommended that Thomas consider a chilled out site on the backside of Bogafalaya Creek on the Lake Ponchatrain Northshore. Thomas checked it our and soon the 4th TBT location was underway in Covington. It opened in March of 2019 and, lacking the onshore breeze of the other open water locations, it became the first climate controlled location with full ac in both rooms and a fireplace on the back deck.

2 shrimp tacos that included a total of 12 31/35 shrimp, iceburg lettuce and a sauce, which was pretty good. Side of tortillas and a small portion of dry, flavorless Pico for 15 bucks. Left hungry and disappointed.
Only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not less is because of the staff. Very welcoming and friendly crew.

Boil seasoning is fantastic! The whole family loved the shrimp boil and it was lip smacking good. Really chill place to grab some excellent food and hang out with friends, family or co-workers after work.
I checked some other reviews and the prices, staff, parking and building are all in line with quality. Comparing this place to taco bell is like comparing lobster to Skittles. Bathrooms could use some love, but that's really my only constructive feedback.
My family and I are already planning another visit.

First time experience. Would be lying to say I didn't think such a small place with an abbreviated menu would offer Much.
Pleasantly surprised! Nice little homey space that gives off a nice vibe. The abbreviated menu means faster service and better quality food. Portions sizes are awesome. The smaller staff are more friendly and give off that family owned (it's not) aura.
There's something different about it and the difference is nice. Even a place for kids to play while adults maybe casually drink or watch games.

First time visiting. Standard menu is interesting and daily specials menu changes. I had the special tropical chicken salad and my son had the pulled pork nachos. Both dishes were tasty and I'm super happy my salad fit into my current eating plan. We will return to try other specials. Oh...the guy on guitar was a nice touch. Whole place gives off a relaxed beach side restaurant vibe.

Lively location in Covington. One of the few places in Louisiana to consistently get ruby red shrimp.
Eric was a great waiter.
Food is consistently good.
We dined on cheddar burger, sweet chili tacos and ruby reds.
Started with tuna dip and cheese fries.
