A fantastic culinary treat. Apple risotto under the yellowfin was amazing. Kim, the bartender made a fantastic off-menu N/A Mule and my solo dining experience perfectly comfortable.

Delicious food, attentive staff. Really liked the redfish and the cheesecake. It's French influenced Creole.
Bathroom was not clean and we were dining at 5:30.

This place never disappoints. We had a charcuterie to start. We each had a salad which was delicious. Wonderful wines. Be sure to try the lamb nachos and the crab and brie soup. This restaurant is highly recommended!

A definite and long-running staple on the Northshore, Dakota's Restaurant is classic fine dining. The bar area feels vintage and refined like the good old days. I was surprised to see how young and unseasoned the waitstaff was for such a fine dining experience. A solid 4 stars.

Wonderful Restaurant on 190 in Covington. While not in Downtown, it is worth going out of the way. Easy to get to and to Park, unlike the downtown area. We love to sit in the bar as it is cozy, yet spaced and comfortable. Service is superior and attentive and food is excellent. The wine list is admirable and the by the glass list is impressive. The bar has a good selection of bourbons and they do a great job. It is the perfect place for a Friday or Saturday night date night. We were actually there for an early dinner Derby Day and it sort of turned into an impromptu Derby party with a few other

We visited here right when Louisiana started table service back up. Service was great but they were out of 80% of the menu. I order baked chicken dish. Ended up paying almost $50 for 2 chicken thighs... crazy expensive! Never went back there since!

This was my first time and definitely won't be the last! I can't wait to return. The grilled romaine Caesar salad tasted like a steak. The pork shank was yummy. The lamb nachos were very tasty and huge. The gumbo was good and the oyster and brie soup was great. Nice atmosphere and great service. Perfect playlist pumped in.

Our meal was awesome! As always. I had the shrimp napoleon and Celeste had the pork belly, both great. Dinner I had the soft shell crab - absolute drool-worthy. Celeste had the petite filet. Tender and perfect.

Soooo Good! This little restaurant is tucked between an oil change station and a Best Western Hotel off of Hwy 190 in Covington. It's got to be one of the best kept secrets in the area! We've been several times for dinner and once for a rehearsal dinner and it has never disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. The waitstaff couldn't be friendlier or more attentive. A special thanks to Maurice for really making our special occasion more special. Do not pass up the crabmeat and Brie soup. It's exceptional! and if you are able to save room then get the banana split for dessert.
