Stopped in for lunch. Bottom line is I love this place. Great tropical vibe on the deck overlooking the mini marina. The road noise is there but not a big issue.
Service was great and everyone we came in contact with from our waiter (Eric, who gets his own 5 stars), to the hostess. busboy and manager were all very friendly.
I've had a lot of shrimp tacos and these were some of the best. I will be returning.
(Sorry guys- I was at Gulfport not Madisonville. I'll leave this here anyway because I like Marina Cantina that much)

I have been here before in the past and have had a great experience. Pleasant service, cold beer, and great wings. However, I came today and the wings were undercooked and under seasoned. I get changing the recipe, but it was just some simple sauce with salt on the skin. Speaking of the skin, it was like rubber and the meat had bloody spots. The Abita Strawberry Lager was good though.

They had an awesome band, and great crowd. The outdoor area was beautiful which added to the atmosphere while the 2 band rocked the crowd. The service ruined it! Waitres was extremely rude, and shut & locked the door so people could not get in to pay their tabs. The band had just finished, and it was still crowded outside. A customer knocked on the door to ask about his tab, she lied and said she told everyone it was last call and she closed everyone's tab that was left and added 20% to their bills, then slammed the door in his face. Everyone we talked to said we would not return unless this waitress

Had a wonderful time until they would not let us pay our bill! They closed with no last call and would not let us settle our bill or give receipt for charges. The girl working the bar spoke with us and when asked to provide us with charges slammed the door in our faces. It was extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I have never been refused a receipt. Our group will most likely refrain from going back to this place of business. It is unfortunate because we had fun there until we was treated poorly. Two stars only for the good times not the service.

Me and my husband usually go to the Covington location and love it. But tonight we were in the area so we decided to try this one out. We walked in and stood waiting to be helped and didn't know if it was a restaurant or a just a bar. As the tables were dirty and shoved against the wall. It definitely didn't seem like the blind tiger that we are used to. It is sad that no one could even acknowledge us. Not to mention people were dancing and not one person had a mask. We will not be back.

Terrible experience, sat in the heat for an hour with no food. Then went to ask about it only to find out, they had never put our order in. The waiter was more concerned with flirting and talking to other customers then making sure we had food. One waiter also dropped the f bomb when asked a question. Usually a great restaurant and experience, but not today!

First time here and just felt so great to get out of the house and take in some fresh air. Ordered to go but sat at the outdoor dining area with social distancing in mind. The shrimp tacos were delicious as well as the chips and queso. Margarita was fantastic too. It's such a beautiful day to be outside.
