Blake has been surrounded by the service industry throughout the last two decades of his life. His grilling journey started during his collegiate years at his uncle's fast pace restaurant that specializes in steak. In May of 2005 he met Megan in Costa Rica through a Southeastern study-abroad program, and they both graduated in the fall of 2005 with degrees in Marketing.
Blake worked and managed restaurant kitchens throughout the parish, as well as working alongside Chef John Folse in the food service division of his manufacturing plant. In 2008 Blank and Megan married and in 2011 they opened "The SteaKhouse" in a small location in downtown Hammond where they continued to cultivate Blake's following along with their supreme regular customer base.

The staff is wonderful, unfortunately our food was less then expected, the steak was not seasoned or marinated ,the cream of spinach was very soupy and lacked flavor. Wait time was very short. It's lacking elegant table decor. Only a small candle was present. The Mac n cheese was again soupy and lacked flavor. In fact the Mac n cheese from Chic FIL A has more flavor then this place. The crab cake was served Luke warm but was quite nice. Overall I give it 3 1/2 stars but it's not a option.

I found out about this place years ago, and have been coming back ever since. They will cut your steak to any size that you request, and cook it however you would like. For a nice steak place their prices aren't bad. They are higher than some places, but you are getting much better meat quality here.

The steaks and fried soft shell crab fonominal if you haven't went you must get out and go so romantic π the owners are the greatest π they keep clean romantic interested best place this is our forever go to place this place is π―π―π―π― No one judges you a great place to just go and be your self when you wanna feel like dressing up looking cute and having a fairy tale night .......
