You get what you pay for! Sheets were clean and the shower ran hot water. Pretty quiet considering the location being so close to the freeway, but there was construction work in the morning which was a bit noisy. Women at the front desk were very kind, proficient, and helpful. Perfect stay for a young couple that's on a budget.

I’m leaving a 5 star review to help with all the 1 stars..I feel as though this hotel has been judged too harshly.. It’s a budget friendly stay not the 4 Seasons…
And it’s a place to be safe and sleep.
It’s very old but it’s clean and they keep it up as best they can. My stay was pleasant. No bugs whatsoever.

My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend and as much as I’d like to say GOOD things about this place there’s only two things and that was the “friendly” service and the good location to sea world seeing as sea world was our destination this weekend.

It fit in our budget, and the room was mostly clean (my husband said he killed 2 cockroaches near the sink our first night). The outlets near the sink did not work at all, the door to the bathroom wouldn't close, and there was no noise-dampening from the walkway (maybe partly because the door needs better weather-stripping). In addition, the usual breakfast had not been restored since the lockdowns, and there was no laundry facility to dry the few items I had hand-washed in the sink. I'd look for other accommodations.

This motel scams out of state residents!!! Don’t go here!!! They waited for us to head back home before they charged us 100$ dollars for seeing a dog in our room prior to us checking out!! I swear we didn’t have any dogs on the premises and they showed no proof prior to us leaving. They waited for us to be hours away and then charged us rather then charging us right away so we can stay and fix it. Do not let them win your business because they will steal from you. A lady even told me to take pictures of everything because they like to keep your deposit and say you caused damage that was already

I got a room here on August 23-24, 2021, I was in room 121 I believe or 122, the far back corner. Upon entering, I was welcomed by such terrible odor. Later, I suspected it could be possibly due to a leaking AC unit that is over 100 years old. It doesn’t work. To top it off, the power shut down the first night and it was too hot, I almost suffocated at night. Then, I woke up with bites on my knees and so did my friend and we both slept on separate beds so I suspect the beds have bed bugs. The carpet near the AC was wet and is probably moldy which I suspect is causing the foul odor. Management

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Roach-infested, dirty rooms, the rooms looked like they haven't been updated since the 80s. The only thing "new" in the rooms is the TV. Carpets were a brown color so it would be hard to notice any roaches on the floor. The old AC/ heater didn't really work. The stairs to get to the above levels feels like they are going to fall any second. Don't bother coming here. Motel 6 is luxury compared to this dump. There is also dust everywhere. So bad that I had a coughing fit because I could hardly breathe. Most of the dust is on the AC unit.

Mildew, damp carpets, broken furniture, a phone that has no power cord or phone line attached, and then there were the bugs. I was even met at the lobby by another traveler who had bed bugs wrapped up in a tissue. Nobody was on duty that could help. The manager was there the next morning and seemed unbothered by the bugs and state of the place rented to me. Said "well, you choose to stay here". He was a bully.

Very tough scene here at Heritage. Dirty and moist carpet when we arrived, humid in the room and very bad smell. This hotel seems to be a huge work in progress, lots of construction and messy/unkept rooms. The front desk couldn't provide us with blankets. Cold water in the shower that barely warmed up, rusty pipes and coat hanger, gross sink, overall just unclean and nasty. Please choose another hotel

Coming from Ventura county, my friend & I planned a day at Sea World & she booked room here a month ago for one night- 2 adults, 2 kids. We called during the day to be sure it would be okay to check in late around 10pm & the young lady said that it wasn't a problem & that we could check in as late as 2am- Great!
We arrived at 10pm & was told they gave our room away & that they were completely sold out. We were left with nothing. All other hotels at that time were either completely booked or $400.00+ a night.
We had no choice but to drive back 4 hours home. Very disappointing

Just roaches, termites, and bed bugs.
I don't know how this hotel is still operating. Diapers all over the parking lot. Cops in and out.

Came down for a quick nap and shower since I'm headed down south. And the receptionist, was kind and helpful. I needed an extra set of toiletries and reception was very understanding and quick on his feet. Definitely one of the better places I've been to. Thomas Is a great guy and to say he's professional would be an understatement. Truly a great service.

Charming, welcoming, pleasant. None of these can accurately be used to describe the heritage inn. Basically, you get what you pay for. At 130$ a night, you can expect little more than a place to lay your head. The place was absent of cockroaches, but rancid from a plethora of scents from the street outside. I honestly don't know how this place is still in service. The pictures on their website are NOTHING like what the property or any of the rooms look like (I should have known better and looked at Yelp first). The rooms smelled, there was mold growing in the bathroom, there were very questionable black stains in the ceiling on the bathroom, and other random brown spots all over the room. My boyfriend and I only spent one night there because it was a last minute plan but it was enough to learn our lesson- pay extra for a cleaner and safer stay.

The walk up to my room on the second floor was the first thing that I noticed needed fixing. The walkways were gross asfk and felt curved. First thing I saw walking through my room door was the mirror which was totally messed up by graffiti. Under no circumstances should anyone stay at this hotel. I gave it one star, but I'd give zero if I could.
I stayed here one night and had the following issues
1) Broken Lock on door inside
2) Electric outlet broken
3) Big Bugs on the bathroom counter
