Pretty affordable but not the best. This isn't a five star hotel folks but if your stay in San Diego is brief and you like lots of peace, privacy and quiet, this is the ideal spot. The rooms are basic,-additional amenities are a basic flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator only. No coffee maker. Ooops!!! 🤔 There's quick access to the freeway and there's lots of choices for eateries nearby. From my observation, it is mostly for adults. There's a pool in the back and the wifi service was pretty good. The online add stated that a continental breakfast was served each morning consisting of coffee

This place is a dump! The staff here are nasty unhelpful. When you get out of jail this is where they would put you some again lady was blowing smoke right by the entrance starring at you like your not supposed to be there. And she she's right. Trust me this place is terrible. It's a shady part off the 805 anyways keep driving. Good luck.

Reserved a room here so my mom could be close to me when I was in the hospital. I should have known it was shady when I pull up 1st thing and directly under the sign saying "no smoking property" is a woman smoking right by the front door. The lady at the desk said there's no use in saying anything that person is going to do what she wants. So they don't enforce any rules.
THEN, we came back from dinner and there were about 8 police cars in the parking lot next to one of the rooms. Something shady going on there for sure. Well, obviously they don

I definitely do not recommend staying at this place if your planning a trip with your family. The pictures for this places online are deceiving and expect to see suspicious activity. We found this place on Expedia and had 3.7 stars. The picture made this place seem like a great deal and lovely but that is definitely not the case. We were excited to use the pool and hot tub but their layout of this hotel is so unusual and did not feel safe to walk around the hotel or use the pool at night. There were multiple people coming into the hotel not seeming to be guest but coming in and out of the rooms

If I could give a zero I would. Loud traffic, (which they have no control over). "Security gate" doesn't close. Sketchy people around. It's a shame that elderly extended stay guests are living in this place. When I told the "security guard" that the gate didn't work, he got irritated and asked what I wanted him to do. Really? How about your job. This was the 2nd worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Staff really needs to do their job.

My family and I have stayed here multiple times before Covid and after Covid. Thankfully we have never experienced any issues. The lobby is always clean when we check in and out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were always so clean and stocked up. The pool and pool area is always so clean. My husband locked the keys in the room we went straight to the lobby and they provided a spare with no issue at all.
Lastly we prefer this hotel because we travel a lot for work or vacation and it is smack in the middle of all the places we go to.

I was there for a couple of months in the fall of 1999 and I thought it was beautiful and the manager was very understanding and worked with my situation. It was close to this deli/convenience store we ate at almost every day and I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, the awesome hot tub and all the beautiful flowers! Being from Wichita Kansas it was amazing. Would recommend!

Facilities are run down. "Remodeled" rooms look like they were remodeled by an apprentice contractor. Eg. Our sink worked but the water outlet was not centered over the drain. The other sink had hot and cold reversed. Furniture, carpets, etc were very worn and dated. Even the room numbers on our door were about to fall off. We also encountered a gentleman relieving himself in the back parking lot. But the worst part was the front office staff. At checkin we encountered staff who were not friendly, and we were told that anything we left in the room would be given away, there was no breakfast

Wow! I don't even know where to start. As we approached the locked gate that would take us to our room, there was a line of residents smoking against the wall. Shady looking group. It turns out the hotel has lots of live in residents. One hefty woman was yelling the f word.
Then we made it to the courtyard. It was littered with broken A/C units, laundry, toys across the dying landscaping. No live grass. Just dirt and dying trees. The place was filthy.
Now for the room. Worn. Dated. Dirty. Two full size beds. Actual gum stuck on the tabletop. Scary.
We decided to try to get out and get our

We had stayed here multiple times pre pandemic and enjoyed the service, the complimentary breakfast, and the standards of the rooms. Unfortunately, this place has fallen far below standard now. No complimentary breakfast, not even coffee in the lobby or in the rooms. No housekeeping service except after check out so you have to get towels, sheets and even TP from a cart outside the lobby. 1st room was above th we pool area, and though they say quiet after 10 pm, there were boom boxes and loud voices till even after midnight. No evidence of security. We finally got them to move us to another

I believe the owner of the hotel needs to invest in upgrading this place. New paint job, modern blankets, modern furniture, better shower heads. The staff was friendly and helpful so the 1 star counts as 5 for them but the hotel itself needs a lot of work. Remove the carpet which feels dirty and keep it with tiles. Easier to clean. There are Mexican restaurants around, shops driving distance and freeway right next to it which makes your drive easy when heading downtown. I wouldn’t come back again though.

Good price but horrible service. When I got to the front desk the lady had a horrible attitude(can't remember her name but it was a short, kinda chubby Hispanic lady) I invited 3 of my girlfriends to come to my room to hang out for a bit. The lady at the front desk calls me and asks me "what are you doing up there? If you have too many people up there having a party and causing a disturbance you won't get your deposit back" I told her "there is no party going on, it's literally only 3 other people in here with me and we're all just sitting around talking"

My stay here was unsatisfactory. As I recently returned from the desert on a 7 plus week military training excercise, I decided to spend my 2 nights in San Diego here . Upon walking into the room, I found a large cockroach on the wall, so I proceeded to smash it because one bug wasn't going to ruin my stay and it was still better than being out in the desert. The next morning I go out and about and return about 6:00 p.m. Upon entering the room, I find 2 more cockroaches so I smash them both and then proceeded to pack my bags. Do not go to this hotel, they will use your card information, they will steel from you.
So last month ( September ) my family and I stayed at this hotel. I made the reservation in person, they took pictures of my husband and my IDs and credit card. Costumer service was nice, the hotel was descent. Everything seam okay until this month (October) I saw my bank account. I had 3 charges from this hotel. I called to ask why are they charging me. According to them I had made a reservation for 3 days. I immediately cancel the reservation and ask to speak to a manager. I told them I'm Making a police

We booked a room here for one night while attending graduation at UC San Diego. The price was reasonable so we thought we would give it a shot. Check in went fairly well. Some guy showed up at the desk and said, "Your tree fell on my car." Another guy showed up and said his air conditioner did not work. I was thinking we had made a big mistake booking here.
