First and foremost I want to say I love my dental hygienist Ms. Yolanda! She makes every visit personable and she's one of the reasons I chose my career as a fellow rdh. I've been a patient for over 20 years and it's changed so much. However, I recently went and another new Dr who did not even introduce himself so I don't know his name. Did not exam my chief concern and spent every bit of 60 seconds in my room. The assistant whose name I don't know either had the worse infection control. They didn't have any barriers so I asked if she could wipe the light handle she did, but I guess the wipe was

Would not recommend! Scheduled an appointment a week in advance showed up to my apt just to be told they don't take my insurance, they said they called but had the complete wrong info , I took off work just to come now I miss a day of work and get no dental service, very disappointed

Very unhappy with the fillings they have done on 1 tooth as the original I had in Houston lasted 15 years. Since it chipped and west Davis dental 'fixed' it, it has chipped 3 times under 1.5 years.

Several dentist come and go. I do not think they hire good experienced dentist.

Excellent service expected nothing less. Actually makes me look forward going to the dentist! Had a change in insurance that they patiently and happily walked me through also (they called and reached out to me before my appt!).

Went to West Davis Dental yesterday for my yearly exam and cleaning. Yolanda, was my hygienist, who was extraordinarily friendly, pleasant, compassionate and professional. She did an excellent job with my cleaning, as well as providing my fluoride treatment and "sand blaster" polish. Thanks so much Yolanda, for extending me the extra courtesy of the fluoride treatment!
Cynthia, her assistant was also very friendly, professional and also did a great job.
My only concern as a non insured patient, is the prices for routine cleaning and exams are going up considerably. My hope is that they will continue

I highly recommend West Davis Dental and am so glad I followed my mother's advice to use them as my new provider! ;-) The staff and dentist were wonderful and it is a fabulous environment! Best of all, when I got my explanation of benefits that required a refund, I cringed at the thought of dealing with a billing department; however, they called me back immediately and Gus refunded me right away, over the phone! Never have I had such an easy experience!!!

Absolutely loved my experience here. Scheduling is easy, waiting time is very minimal, and my dentist was amazing (and extremely qualified). I didn’t feel pushed to “do” anything and they were able to fix my tooth that day. Will definitely be establishing care here!

This has been my go to dentist for over 20 years. I even pay out of pocket for cleanings because my insurance doesn't cover this practice. I wouldn't normally do this but the service from the receptionist to the dentist is bar none, top shelf. That is until I took my son here. The insurance coordinator was unable to verify my insurance (we went in on a Sunday) she said she would call me Monday. It was now Wednesday, I called and was told someone would call me back they were super busy. Called again on Friday, same message. Called the following Monday and I was given the same message

I always have a grest experience here! I work at another dental office but WDD is where I will always go for my teeth. Yoli cleaned my teeth with a little help from another great hygienist, Veronica. Gentle and thorough is the best way to describe their skill. I never want anyone else to clean my teeth!
I saw Dr. McMullan and Dr. Ambriz were both great and gave me some solid advice and options.
That is why West Davis Dental has been the only dental office for me and my family for nearly twenty years!

My experience was amazing. The staff, especially the clinical staff, was so professional, kind, and compassionate. The hygienist was best I've ever experienced. I chipped a filling in one of my front teeth, I called Davis Dental and they got me at 7am the next morning. When I arrived check in was fast and friendly. I was taken back had x-rays and was then asked if I would like a cleaning done since I was past due. (I am deathly afraid of Dental work) but I agreed and the hygienist was very gentle and sweet. Then dentist came in and assessed me. I had three other fillings that needed to be replaced along side the chipped one. They gave me the quote and proceeded to replace the fillings. I've been going to West Davis Dental for 3 years now and it took lots of recommendations to get me there as I'm deathly afraid of dental work. From my first visit on, they have been empathic and compassionate. My latest cleaning this week proved that going to the dentist regularly gets results. The Hygienist was almost dancing upon seeing my healthy gums. What a positive experience!

They were a bit high with the price and instead of actually wanting to talk about the cost they tried pushing a credit card on me.

Just don't. Rookie dentists and rotating staff without experience. It's like a cheap fast food restaurant version of dentistry.

I had a little pain in one of my teeth, so I went in to have it checked. One of the doctors went to work, after over an hour of her working in my mouth, eventually the pain got so bad that she sent me home with a temporary cap, a prescription for pain meds, an antibiotics and a follow up meeting for a root canal. I went ahead and paid for the work in full and set a follow up appointment. I left with my whole face swollen and bruised.

I used to go here for all my dental needs and rave about the great service and amazing work they do here. I truly felt like all the staff was so personable and worked so hard to be cognizant of your time and health.

However, I convinced my friend to come here who had had multiple bad experiences with other dentists and hadn't been for a cleaning or check-up in a few years. I told them about all my great experiences, offered to come with them, and they finally agreed to try it. Their cleaning experience was a little long as it was right after the workday, so there were quite a few people

I worked at this office during college, and I can honestly say that West Davis Dental goes above and beyond with their customer service. Their #1 priority is their patients and making everything convenient for them. Open 7 days a week, as early as 7am and as late as 7pm. What more do I need to say?

What an amazing experience! My daughter had a really bad traumatic experience with another dentist and was not ready to accept any treatment at all.
The patience and understanding of the staff was overwhelming- they took the time necessary to make sure she was comfortable. Nothing was rushed or pushed, everything was explained and small steps were taken.

The actual dental care has been excellent. The confusion when I called and asked about dental insurance is why in this review I give only one star. I think having more than one or two people handling the insurance questions is why there was miscommunication. In the end, I would like to use them but I really need clear and correct answers to the questions I asked as it does affect our family's pocketbook.

I always have a great experience here. Staff is great, always remember me & ask about my life which is very nice! Appointments are easy to get since they are open 7-7! I also really like that they are really good about appointment reminders!

Also I love their monthly dental plan! $33 for coverage for my family of 4! What a great deal!

I waited 3 weeks to schedule my orthodontist appointment for a Saturday because that's the only day the doctor will see me on the weekend . I get there and the lady tells me that they don't have any doctor available but I could get my cleaning done while I wait for a doctor. The cleaning got done and I waited for over an hr so they could tell me that the dr is really busy and won't be able to see me . So why schedule appointments if the doctor won't be able to see you

They have extended hours. I was able to get in for an emergency root canal on a Saturday. I can not say enough about how very happy and pleased I am with a West Davis Dental.

I got tired of my long time dentist making me wait three (or more) months for a simple check-up or cleaning, so I tried WDD. They offered to have me in the same day I called, but I chose a time a few days out.

Great service. Very friendly. And the work was done with great expertise and skill. They kept me apprised of my options and shared various pros and cons of each. Very happy and will return.

I've been coming here for the past two years and I'm very satisfied with the care they provide, friendly and helpful staff, prompt service and a family friendly atmosphere.
Highly recommend to anyone living in the Oak Cliff area.

I should start by saying, I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Like, I call and reschedule my appointments a couple times because it stresses me out. I had unpleasant visits growing up. Anyway, my girlfriend encourages me to try this place and I'm glad I did.

This dentist office is truly the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. I always leave more confident to return. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They help ease my stress every visit.

I still have anxiety about going to the dentist, but with each visit to West Davis Dental the fear slowly fades.

This place is so good that I am trying to get my parents to go here! (If that isn't an endorsement then what is?)

I have some pretty bad dental anxiety...but everyone here was very kind and no one chided me/shamed me for the state of my not-so-ivories.
My landlady had been singing their praises so I decided to pay them a visit.
Judy was my hygienist and she was fabulous! I got a deep clean that didn't hurt a mite and am scheduled for a polish and filling this Saturday (unfortunately not with Judy but I love that they have Saturday morning appointments for us busybodies!)

I LOVE this place!!! So my wisdom tooth was coming out and it was incredibly painful to the point where I couldn't chew my food and was experiencing migraine on the side with the problematic tooth. Seeing how it happened on a Sunday, I thought I would have to take off work and try to get an appointment the following week.. What a wonderful experience!!!! Or - uhh - as wonderful as visiting the dentist can be.

From the minute I walked in, I could tell it would be a good experience. The place is well kept, and the staff are happy and focused on their customers. The people that I interacted with were not only friendly and nice, but took there jobs seriously and wanted me to understand what was going on with my mouth (no matter how big or small). Their technology is above and beyond any dentist I've visited before.
