He has experience in residential and commercial construction working with contractors as a carpenter, a plumber and an electrician. Mike also worked in the motion picture industry constructing sets for movie productions before he moved to Colorado Springs.
As a professional in the mining industry he was a member of his facilities safety and emergency response team. His position required him to conduct detailed inspections of all areas of the facility looking for any existing or potential safety hazards and defects daily. This required him to inspect each and every piece of processing equipment, their operating controls and all of the many buildings that housed the equipment.

Huge thanks to Mike for doing such a thorough job with my home inspection. I was extremely pleased with the work, and he truly goes above and beyond. He thoroughly went over the entire exterior of the house and grounds before even coming inside, and talked me through issues candidly as he went along. I will be using Coloado Certified Home Inspection again in the future for sure, and highly recommend it!

Michael W. McCarren was referred to me by brother, who used Michael when he purchased his home. My husband and I are moving to Colorado from California and found the house of our dreams. Michael was our home inspector. To say he was phenomenal is putting it mildly I've never met a more thorough inspector, and I used to work with planning and building staff in California. Mike came out for my original home inspection and was very through, friendly and professional. The overall report included pictures of anything he found and was easy to read and understand. But that's not even the best part. Weeks after we moved in it's now summer time and we needed to water the lawn. After trying myself to de-winterize the system and not being able to I finally called up Mike and asked if he could come out and help me. At ZERO additional cost he came straight out and educated me on the process and even showed me what to do when winter comes again. I feel extra confident
