Good Beauty stands firmly behind all of its salon services. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your service please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. Tweaks and adjustments will be honored if salon is contacted within one week of the date of service. We will do our best to get you in with your stylist as soon as possible.

Services
If the salon is at capacity, guests will receive a text or call when they can enter premises, as you may be waiting in you car or outside. We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you're feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

My nails were MESSED up - when I first came in, I had powder dip AND gel shellacked all over my nails (because I am HARD on my hands at work and while doing demo/remodeling at home), three or four of them were broken down to the quick, they'd been growing out for weeks... and my real nails are weak and paper thin. She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable.
She took the time to explain new types of nail techniques and she showed me this awesome new thing for fixing tips, where she creates an extension with a guide (instead of glueing those plastic tips on) - that

Amazing salon! No hair stylist has ever wanted to take my black hair to a brunette balayage which is what I have always wanted. However, Amber did without hesitation. She listened to everything I wanted even though I was between two colors and she talked me through the process since I kept saying I was very nervous. I am so beyond happy and obsessed with my hair. Highly recommend good beauty and Amber!!!

Love the place! The workers are very professional, helpful and friendly! I was scared to try a new hair Solon but I’m so glad I went to Good Beauty Hair Solon. My hair stylist was Elizabeth and she did an amazing job with my hair! I’m in love how my hair came out! Highly recommend you check the place out it’s very nice and the music is so good! You feel welcome by the moment you come in! Can’t wait to go back:)

Just got a haircut with Carla. Amazing she truly is DA BEST!! I have curly hair and I been looking my curls due to over processing it between bleaching it and diffusing it. She told me what I needed to do and the cut I need to start getting my curls back. She told me straight out, no frosting on the cake. It was hard but majorly appreciated. Customer got life!! Thank Carla!! I love my hair again!!

This is my place. Amber is amazing. She is super sweet and personable. I’m usually not very talkative during my appointments but amber made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. I told her exactly what was wrong with my current hair situation and what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. My hair looks and feels so good. I had gotten an airtouch balyage done a few weeks ago at another salon and tried to recently diy toning my hair at home to remove some of the brassy blonde. Well that was a disaster because my dark hair turned brassy and light brown with my dark hair showing up in patches! Ahh! I was looking for a place that could schedule me quickly to fix it and found this place for a next day appointment. Booking was super easy online and when I got there they took my temperature and had me wash my hands. All I gotta say is WOW!!! I am super happy with the results I got at Good beauty. Carla is super knowledgeable and explained everything about my hair before we got started so I knew exactly what results I should expect. Her whole staff is super friendly and they worked quickly and efficiently. The whole environment of the salon was awesome with some really good music. I had booked an appointment here for my first time because I had seen their reviews and photos and I was impressed but once Carla finished after 4 hours my hair looked exactly the same and nothing compared to the picture I had showed her. She only added few what seemed to be highlights on top. I was completely embarrassed and ashamed for spending $317 on something that wasn't worth it. She was extremely nice but my hair came out terrible.

I want to give a huge huge shout-out to Christina who did my hair on Friday. She was extremely patient and helpful with me with choosing an ideal hairstyle, because I had no idea what I wanted. She did an excellent job on my hair and even today it is super manageable and low maintenance and I still freaking love it! I can even style it without any hassle (thank god).
I also wanted to say thank you for being so kind and making me laugh that day, because I was super stressed out and tired all week.

Absolutely love this place! I was really struggling to get my curls back and to find a stylist I trust to bring my hair back to life. Carla is absolutely the best out there, not only did she cut my hair flawlessly but she really made sure I went home with products and a new hair regime to upkeep my volume and look. There isn’t a salon better than Good Beauty Chicago, I should know, I have been a client for 10 years. Even after moving to the suburbs, I make it into the city for the chance to sit in Carla’s chair and be transformed. I’m never disappointed and my hair always looks healthy and beautiful! I have been looking for a salon in the city since moving to Chicago almost two years ago and let me tell you, this place is practically perfect.
My stylist Natalie was so sweet and literally everything you'd want in a stylist.

I had a great experience at good beauty. My stylist was Carla Alvarado. Shes someone I can trust with my hair. She's concerned about my hair goals and suer professional. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everyone there is so welcoming, accommodating and kind. I left with so much knowledge on curl hair and how to manage it. I would recommend this salon to everyone.

I changed my hair stylist after 8 years and have no regrets. Carla is super attentive and always has the best recommendations for my hair care. I have curly hair and it's really difficult to find a stylist that can cut and dye it. Recently, I got a keratin treatment and it has improved the quality of my hair. Also, it has cut down my blow drying time. I will continue to refer my friends and family to her.

Love this place! The owner greeted me when I walked in and my stylist, Natalie C., was ready and smiling when I arrived. I had walked in the week before because I was tired of having an orange bun (my balayage was not cute anymore) and wanted to go back to my natural color. Other salons had told me it would take lots of sessions to get back to that, but Natalie said I just needed a single process color and we'd be good to go. After my experience with Barbara and Barbara, I decided to try another salon within walking distance from home. My now too short bob (ugh) was growing out in an unflattering way, I was a walk-in on a Saturday late morning and they were able to take me right away. Heiddy is a "level one" but listened to my concerns as well as what I was hoping to not have happen during this grow out process and away we went. I love it. She was able to blend the mushroom layers (anyone with a short bob knows what I am talking about) to smooth out the back and stop that awkward flip. We discussed the timeline

STEPHANIE!!!!!!! I've been seeing Stephanie for about 3 years now - we go back...all the way to Hush Salon. Now that Good Beauty is up and running our relationship continues. Stephanie is the master of nail shaping, unique nail art, and above all quality. In my three years, I've honestly only chipped my nail once...maybe twice in the past few years. The quality of work she does is why I keep coming back and referring all of my friends. The salon overall is very cute and always clean! That's a huge MUST in my book for salons!
