There are many benefits in having a home inspection. For instance, one can find that there is excess amount of heat loss and not enough ventilation. Radon is a known cancer causing radioactive gas that you can't see, smell or taste. Its presence in your home can pose a danger to your family's health.
Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in America and claims about 20,000 lives annually. Most termites belong to the subterranean termite classification. This means they are able to tunnel their way into the soil. Subterranean termites are able to rapidly grow their colony size up to several million large in a relatively short amount of time.

As you know, I held onto your card for 7 years as it was the one you left behind for my buyer when you inspected a house I was selling. You could tell I had high expectations for the home I had hired you to inspect the other day. Your experience was evident as you systematically walked me through the house.

We hired Jeff to do a home inspection on our home in 2009. I came across his emails while going through an old email, and wanted to see if he still did inspections. I found this page, and was surprised to see some negative reviews of Jeff. He was very communicative throughout, professional, and gave us a thorough report. More than a decade later, I have no issues with what Jeff did. Nothing popped up as others have indicated, though Jeff can't see behind walls. I would recommend him based on our experience!

Jeff is no nonsense,no emotion, "just the facts" He doesn't suggest costs or share opinions. He tells you, without BIAS! what is wrong down to the finest detail. He inspected the home I was selling, and I hired him 3 days later to inspect the home I was buying. He's THAT good. He doesn't miss a trick. Well worth the investment! Same cost as the others. He spent 4 hours inspecting the house I was selling and 5.5 hours on the one I purchased! He definitely earns his money.

We set up an inspection for 2:00. Jeff showed up at 1:30 and was furious because he couldn't get the key for the front door to work. When he called me I was only 10 minutes away and could have been there quickly, however, before I could state that he said "well I'm not waiting around if you can't even trust me with a key!". I said, "woah, we scheduled you for 2:00 and agreed that's when we'd be there". He still insisted that the key didn't work and his attitude was completely inappropriate, then he hung up on me! I WOULD NOT recommend this hot head. When I told him that he was acting completely

I have purchased two homes previously, and had inspections done for each. Of all the inspectors I have worked with, Jeff is certainly one of the most thorough and knowledgeable. Being the third inspection I have been a part of, I assumed I knew what to expect. Jeff took the time to educate me above and beyond what I expected, and provided me with long term suggestions regarding maintenance and care of the home.
His experience is evident. He took the time to explain every detail, and how particular items were beneficial to me or harmful to me as the homeowner. He is reasonably priced, and well

Recently purchased a home and used JT as the home inspector. Within a week of purchasing the house he completely missed a major water leak in the home. There was a mold spot in the roof of the garage that had been there for some time that I never noticed. However, you should trust your home inspector to locate a problem like mold and water leaks. Would never recommend him to anyone. This has become a huge burden for something he should have assessed.
