We will inspect all visible and accessible components of the home (typically well over 400 items). Our home inspection services in Indianapolis are non invasive and conform to the nationally recognized Standards of Practice of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) as well as the standards of practice, state license law and code of ethics set forth by the state of Indiana.
All of our home inspectors are licensed in the state of Indiana through (IPLA) Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. All of our home inspectors have successfully passed the NHIE (National Home Inspectors Exam). All of our home inspectors have been professionally trained and certified by The Professional Home Inspection Institute and AHIT.
Professional home inspection is a unique profession like no other. Home inspections as a profession has been in existence for nearly 60 years. Kaycee and Mike from MC2 Home Inspections were professional, punctual, and knowledgeable through the whole process. It has been such a great experience working with MC2 Home Inspectors. As a first-time homebuyer, I had many questions about the inspection process and Mike and Jeremy were so helpful to answer all of my questions along the way. I called to schedule the inspection the day before Thanksgiving and Mike answered right away and told me they had availability the Friday after Thanksgiving (quick turnaround!). Mike also encouraged me to attend the inspection since I could ask any question I wanted and really get to know the new home I was purchasing.

After being in my house for four months, I have had to spend significant money on items that should have been identified during the inspection. From a failed AC unit that resulted in needing a new HVAC, under the kitchen sink water damage, to bathroom floor being rotted from water damage, to electrical issues, to gutter and roof issues causing major problems.... I wouldn't recommend this inspection company. I'm sadly disappointed and have had to spend over $30,000 to this stuff. Huge upset and feel taken advantage of by this company. Please consider other places.

Wanted to really like and continue using this small business. However, just after our second time, it's apparent, this will be our last. You have to be very careful about who you chose to inspect your property. There was no issues with the quality of their inspections, but definitely issues with what occurred while they were inspecting. Upon further review with our realtor we noticed heavy mud and dirt shoe marks in the carpet. She had sent over photos taken exactly 4 days prior to inspection. My experience with MC2 was great from beginning to end. I reached out to many companies for quotes and MC2 went the extra mile by not only providing the quote quickly but also giving me available appointment times, I didn't even have to ask! I was assigned Kaycee and she was amazing throughout the entire inspection. When I initially hired MC2 to inspect a house that I was thinking of buying, the seller became quite nervous. He said, "I hope you realize that you've chosen the pickiest inspector in Indianapolis!" I took this as a great sign!

MC2 Home Inspections "Jeremy" was once again wonderful to work with. This is my go to "home inspector" on our journey to purchase us a home. We needed a home inspection for a house we are purchasing, I contacted MC2 (GREAT name, BTW) for a quote and received a fairly competitive one.
We wound up using another company, but didn't realize they didn't have the necessary credentials to perform a termite and WBI inspection to satisfy a VA loan. I called MC2 in a state of panic, Rebecca was simply amazing. She was so gracious and scheduled the termite inspection for the same day.

Jeremy helped with our inspection for a roughly 1,800 sf home built in 2002. He was extremely detail oriented and created a very thorough inspection report. We were buying an investment property so he also helped create a video walkthrough for us. We also had some follow up question which he took a follow up call with us. I found MC2 Home Inspections on Yelp. I touched base with them months in advance and I was comfortable with the conversation. They responded to my message in a timely manner, answered all my questions and they weren't pushy about getting their services.
I have a new build so when it was finally time to hire an inspector I decided to go with MC2. So glad I did. They were reasonable and the inspection took about 3 hours. Greg, the inspector, was friendly, informative, and patient as I asked questions and tailed him around the home. He clearly was knowledgeable about not only common issues and things to look out for, but also certain FHA stipulations that could come up if I went with that type of loan.
The inspection took the amount of time quoted, and I felt like we covered all aspects of the property and concerns I had going into it.

I decided to hire this company after talking to and getting quotes from other companies. I talked to Mike who owns the company, and after that I felt comfortable using MC2. Mike explained what the inspection would cover, and what I should expect.
On the inspection day i met Greg who was already at the site before i got there, and I was on time.
The home wasn't in the state that we had both expected which was very disappointing and frustrating. However, Greg's attitude made the situation better. We were able to laugh through the inspection which made the situation less stressful.

I HATE leaving bad reviews but I was not impressed at all. First off I thought this was a local company but it turns out a sub-contractor shows up. That right there would have stopped me. The inspector was nice but missed 3 appliances that had been failing for quite some time. It was a very costly mistake. I did make an attempt to resolve this with this inspection company as many of them have a type of guarantee for several days after. I was told "you should have bought a home warranty. No, these didn't fail after the fact. There was ample evidence

MC2 sent Jeremy to do our inspection, and it couldn't have gone better. Jeremy was thorough and informative throughout his detailed inspection, and was a lot of fun to work with. He caught a lot of things going on with the property that we would've missed otherwise, and was helpful in suggesting ways we could fix them. We felt confident in moving forward with our purchase after his inspection - it's such a relief knowing that we won't have any nasty surprises to deal with down the road.

Recently had a home inspection and Brian Hedge came out-he was early! He was amazing! He explained everything perfectly, he was friendly, and he had no problem with me following him around at times.
He made me feel very informed of issues that he found and educated me on a lot of things as this is my first older home to own. I would highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend this company. Melody was extremely responsive and timely with setting up the appointment and any other correspondence. My husband, who is a former licensed home inspector from when we resided in a different state, walked with the inspector. He felt like he did a thorough job and spent an adequate amount of time on the service. He found some issues which resulted in a renegotiation of the purchase price.
