I've been living here since May of 2021 and have enjoyed my time here so far. The leasing office is very helpful, the maintenance staff is great and performs work very quickly, and the amenities are great. It is very family friendly and quiet. It also has a lot of stuff nearby that is really convenient.

I've been living in the Jefferson at Fair Oaks for a couple of months now. While the apartment complex is small in the number of units it is very well maintained and organized. It is an older property but the maintenance staff is constantly doing upgrades to appliances the landscape and the buildings. It is clean and the residents seem friendly. The front office staff is incredible. Wannapa is the PM and Jennifer is the APM. Every time I've gone in with questions comments or concerns they've always been very helpful. To date anything I've asked of the maintenance staff has been completed in a timely

I’ve lived here for over a year, now in my second apartment within the complex and I absolutely love it. It’s quiet, not a huge neighborhood, and the staff is professional and responsive. I rarely have any issues but if I do they are always quick to remedy whatever the problem is. I hope to live here for a long time!

We signed our lease to move in May 29th of this year. Although we haven’t moved in Hannah (property manager) has been beyond amazing. She is so helpful, very responsive and super kind. I had probably over 1 million questions and she never once showed frustration and always got back to me in a timely manner. This is honestly the greatest property manager and staff I have encountered since renting. Can’t wait to move in :)

I came here for a tour, and Jennifer Curtis was great (I believe she was my tour guide!). The area is really nice, and the 1BR apartments were nice, with some offering wooden floors on the bottom floor. The complex seems a bit aged, but sturdy. The gym is a bit small, but has everything relevant inside it. Amenity fee is $300, application fee $50, $250 deposit fee, which all are normal for the area. One of the only bad things is the limited parking, especially when you have guests.

I have a friend who lived at this property who constantly raved about the customer service within the leasing office, specifically with the property manager, Hannah. I looked into renting and I was given the most wonderful customer service experience I had ever received by Hannah. She was so kind and patient with all of my questions and made me feel right at home. If you are interested in this property definitely ask for Hannah!

Great community. Quiet and not a lot of traffic. Very pet friendly! The apartment I lived in was spacious and the attached garage was a huge bonus for the price. I never had any issues with the leasing office or maintenance. The leasing manager Hannah was a pleasure to work with, she definitely went out of her way to help with anything that was needed. Maintenance was always there to help right away! I only had one issue and it was addressed immediately. Location is perfect, easy access to 66 and plenty of things to do nearby within walking distance. Highly recommended!

FANTASTIC experience living here at The Jefferson at Fair Oaks apartment complex. We LOVE it here. My husband and I have had NO problems, the staff is extremely professional and very nice, and regular maintenance in done efficiently and with respect to our privacy. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We initially signed up for a 6 month least but after only 4 days here we changed that to a 12 month lease. We LOVE living here. It is just a few feet from the Fair Oaks mall, and MANY other fine shopping areas. We feel completely safe and like we are in very good hands. We are extremely happy here

Constant issues with apartment (A/C broken, refrigerator and ice maker not working properly, leaky sinks/toilets, bugs/ants, loose nails on the carpet upon move in), etc.
Didn't cash my rent checks until weeks or months later-- unprofessional and rude.
Several of my emails sent to management/staff in the leasing office were responded to in passive aggressive manners.
Do yourself a favor and do not sign a lease here.

I love living at this apartment complex. Everyone there is so friendly and efficient. The grounds are kept pretty well and any and all requests/concerns are always taken with the utmost respect. They really address everything efficiently and show that they're sincerely concerned about your requests/complaints. The only downfall is that parking can be a bit of a challenge at times, but other than that everything is amazing. :)

I loved living at the Jefferson! Unfortunately, i had to move to Alexandria to be closer to work but, if I could take my apartment and the leasing staff with me...I would! My apartment was spacious and had everything I needed (balcony, washer/dryer, huge closet) and the staff was amazing to work with. The location is great too! Within walking distance to Fair Oaks Mall and sooo close to Wegmans to do your grocery shopping. I highly recommend the Jefferson at Fair Oaks!

The community of people that live here, however, are another story. I've encountered many rude people throughout the complex. I have also encountered many people who seem to be afraid of my 30 pound dog, who pays zero attention to people. It's a dog-friendly complex, but that only means they're allowed, not necessarily welcome.
I'd definitely recommend living here though. Amazing staff and great location to everything.

My husband and I have been living at the Jefferson at Fair Oaks for a year and just renewed our lease. We've lived in two other apartment complexes in the same area, and this one has been the best. It's a smaller community, so it's much more personal than other communities where we've lived. The staff in the leasing office are super nice and helpful, and the maintenance staff are friendly and quick to respond to any requests. We've never had a problem with pests or noise, and the location is great.

I have nothing but great things to say about being a resident here. The staff (Shanna, Sarah and Kathy) are genuinely nice and always helpful. You can tell they actually care about your living situation. The maintenance staff is swift and productive as well and always attentive. The complex itself is gorgeous! The leading office and clubhouse was recently renovated and totally bright, clean and beautiful. The pool is great and the gym is 24/7 with ample space. I absolutely love my apartment. Lots of space, equal size bedrooms, new appliances, washer & dryer in unit, walk in closets, and the area is near anything you could ask for. My ONLY negative comment is the lack of visitor parking, 4 spots for the whole complex is quite ridiculous. Luckily there is a hotel literally right behind the complex where visitors can park overnight if need be with no worries of being towed. Management is pretty awesome, super friendly and they host social events for the residents. I've been living here 3 years and am finally moving next month because the rent increases

Hmm, what can I say? Best in the area for the price. Well, when I was in the process of apartment hunting anyway (about 2 years ago). The apartments themselves are really nice, i've been in the area for about 7 years, this being my third apt and by far the best so far. Staff is excellent! (Especially Mrs. Kathy!) Community is nice and very friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure we're satisfied. Maintenance is awesome ... I'm not sure how much more one could ask for.

The apartments themselves are decent for the price, but the community and management are terrible. I have lived here for two years and will be moving out soon (THANKFULLY!) The staff are unfriendly and unwilling to help with any questions or concerns. They always make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. All residents pay an amenity fee for the pool, gym, and hot tub, but the pool and gym are sub-par and the hot tub has been empty and roped-off for the two years I have been a resident here... so I'm not sure what my amenity fee actually paid for.
