Fairfax Circle Villa is a garden-style apartment home community developed by two architect brothers in the early 1970's and managed by the company that bears their name-Borges & Borges, Inc. Borges & Borges, Inc. designed, built and currently manages two other apartment complexes (one in Alexandria, VA and one in Forestville, MD).
Our apartments offer unique and spacious floor plans ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, including some units with dens. Each apartment comes with a dishwasher, walk-in master closet, and a patio or balcony. Currently, all 3 & 4 bedroom apartments include an in-unit washer/dryer and we're also in the process of remodeling all units with granite countertops, updated appliances, and in-unit laundry.
We have 330 spacious apartments on property ranging from 1 to 4 bedroom units. Amenities include an on-premise pool & playgrounds, private balconies/patios, and walk-in closets. Washer and dryers are available in 3 & 4 bedroom units as well as in select 1 & 2 bedroom. We're also in the process of remodeling our units including updated kitchens & bathrooms.

It's one of the cheapest apartment complexes around, and you get what you pay for. The laundry units are all shared and are always broken. To get them fixed you have to go to their website to submit a ticket and it's days until they're repaired. They break several times a month. I can't wait until my lease ends so I can get out of here.

I contacted the leasing office twice, and their attitute is completely beyond my mind. This is the first time that I see a leasing office staff/manager who rudely interrupt customers' speak and show completely negative attitute to rent their apartment to customers. I understand that its price and locations are great, but it is not an excuse to not respect potential customers.

I lived in this complex for a few years. Kat and Fred were great! They were friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the thin walls but that is expected with apartment living so no big deal. Also I was on the top floor and the washer and dryer was a floor below. I believe they have updated apartments with washer dryers now so those would be my go to. I would live there again. Spacious apartments and utilities included except electric.

I have lived here since April and it has been headache after headache. The washing machines never work. I have to put in a work order every week, and they only work for a few days after before they break again. The staff are unable to help with it, and the company they contract to does nothing. This place is AWFUL.
Edit: as a quick followup to the above review, this place is still awful. I strongly regret coming to live here. Also, some FYI, they do not negotiate lease terms, so if you wish to leave early, they will not arrange to allow for this and are very inflexible. I still have to put in

Positive:
Good price: Pretty good apartment in terms of price and location which is why I decided to come here.
Utility covered partially: Water (and i think gas also) is free.
Transportation facility: You can get bus to go to pretty much anywhere nearby. Metro train is about 1 miles away, about 20 minutes walking distance.
Non-positive:
Unco-operative neighbours - You may be fortunate to have a few good neighbors but a lot of neighbors are not so nice to deal with.
NO Privacy - The main PROBLEM is the structure of the building. It is a pretty OLD building with no noise insulators installed

I lived there alone for 1 year 8 months. The security and cleanliness was great. I never felt anything suspicious anytime. There was one person I noticed during night time, who tried to take care of the community. And every morning one person came to clean the premises.
Then come to the lease, I signed lease for 1 year, then it was month to month flexible lease. I found this is super helpful for a student like me.
Then customer service, whenever I called them for any problem, they tried to solve that immediately, moreover they frequently change the filter and do the pest control.

This review is a reflection of how noisy the apartment complex has become. I have been living here for a year and even though the price is reasonable within the area, the noise issue has become so bad.
I guess due to Covid a lot of kids stay at home these days and their parents have absolutely no control over them. I work from home due to Covid and there are days I cannot do anything but miserable. There are some groups of kids running and screaming outside in the gathering area almost everyday at any given hours now with no adult supervision. The adults are not any better, there are always BBQ
