My lease is almost up now but I wanted to wait to right a full review. I’ve categorized it for you to skip through what’s most important to you.
Price: For a good size apartment in the heart of fairfax it doesn’t get any better. Utilities can add up but if you live alone it won’t be too bad. Overall, it’s worth the price.
Condition: These apartments are very old and it shows. If you have neighbors above you will most definitely hear them. The hallways echo a lot so you also get a good amount of sound close to the door. The appliances are a bit old but work great. AC/heat ventilated

I’ve been living in Fairfax Square since 2018, I gotta admit that the location of the apartment come with great advantages (the reason why it deserve one star rating), but when I first moved-in: the apartment wasn’t fully renovated and ready for a new resident, I had a water leaking from the bathroom ceiling and when I told the office about it they told me to call the maintenance???, and then the maintenance workers had to figure out the cause of the leaking and told me that I should submit another maintenance order because the previous resident have adjusted the bathroom floor???. I’m wondering

Unless you love having your car towed, and never have any friends / family visit you for more than 5 minutes, I would highly suggest not living here. We believe that they have a completely shady cooperation with the towing company. It is in their best interest to tow you and are predatory in their practice of doing so.
We also were never told of the cigarette smell in our apartment before we were pushed to sign the lease. It wasn’t all bad, but I don’t trust these guys. Unless the location fits you perfectly, I would look elsewhere.

I never leave negative reviews, but I could write a book about our negative experiences at this place. Bug infestations, regular sewage issues that at some points resulted in our bathtub filling with sewage, multiple instances of mice in our walls, and on top of that completely unresponsive management. The maintenance team did well but they seemed very understaffed because it would take a long time for anything to be fixed. We had multiple days throughout our lease that we couldn't run the water in our apartment and we couldn't get a hold of anyone. We paid every payment on time, even before we

Like other people have said, it’s a terrible place to live. I was incredibly uncomfortable and I am so happy I left. Here are some things that happened while I was there:
- Management gave my apartment keys to a prospective tenant. I had an unsupervised stranger unlocking my door while I was there.
- Maintenance left their keys in my door and my door unlocked. Anyone from the street had free access to my belongings.
- Maintenance would show up on different days than notice was posted or not show up at all. You never know when someone will be in your house. It’s a very unsettling feeling

Since the day my roommates and I moved into the community back in September it has been an amazing experience with the main office and maintenance. Avaija was so helpful with the move in process and as well as the other rep David. Any time we call the main office for any questions Amy is very nice. We cannot wait for all of the amenities to be open.
