Bourbon Orleans Hotel
Once a high-society ballroom and later a convent, the Bourbon Orleans has centuries of stories to tell. Push past the lively scene of Bourbon Street and walk into a hushed haven of gilded details, Belle Epoque-style, polished marble and a warm welcome that is pure Louisiana. This is where your Crescent City story starts.

Escape to a cozy nest right in the city. A place to rest and recharge after a day of dining, drinking, and discovering. Bourbon Orleans guestrooms and suites are peaceful retreats that quiet the Crescent City's round-the-clock thrills. Revel in views of the grand St. Louis Cathedral, Orleans Street or Bourbon Street.
Services
The Bourbon Orleans Hotel's storied history affords guests the opportunity to not only relive it, but to rewrite their own. When it opened in 1819, the Orleans Theatre & Ballroom became the setting for Europoean operas and entertainment for Creole society in New Orleans. In 1881 the Sisters of the Holy Family, the order founded by Henriette DeLille in 1842, purchased the former Orleans Ballroom and convert the building into a convent.
Located adjacent to two great New Orleans landmarks, the St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel is in the center of it all. Step inside our grand lobby and you will be greeted by our friendly staff to make your stay here in New Orleans memorable.

For a uniquely New Orleans experience, reserve one of our French Quarter balcony suites, where you can begin your day with a New Orleans breakfast overlooking the French Quarter. If the outside world needs your attention, our complimentary WiFi lets you stay connected. In addition to a prime location, year-round access to a heated saltwater pool, guests receive complimentary WiFi and in-room bottled water.
Guests will enjoy the casual elegance of our French Quarter hotel. Our guest rooms are thoughtfully appointed with plush pillow-top beds, 42 flat screen televisions and spacious bathrooms with granite countertops and walk-in showers. From our private balconies, many of which overlook Bourbon Street, guests enjoy picturesque French Quarter views.
The hotel offers valet parking only at $48 per day, plus taxes. Parking rates are subject to change without notice and special valet parking rates apply during special events. During special event periods, parking becomes limited due to the increase of visitors to the city and there are road closures.
From weekly Gumbo Demonstrations and Ghost Tours to seasonal celebrations such as Brunch with Santa, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel offers unique experiences that bring out local flavor. Enjoy a "suite experience" at an NBA game! As a guest of the Bourbon Orleans, you are invited to purchase suite tickets to a Pelicans game at the Smoothie King Center.

Highly disappointed. Don't be fooled by the lobby, which upon entrance actually looks beautiful especially all decked out for Christmas. Upon closer inspection you'll find moldy vents, dirty carpets, and stained couches that I didn't even want to sit on while waiting over a half and hour for the car from the valet (which was a hot mess and the person running the stand had an attitude with guests saying "we have over 100 cars"... well yeah this is your job to take and get peoples cars #eyeroll). Then got to the room which was a balcony loft suite... VERY UNDERWELMING for the price paid... the "wet

This staff is terrific, very friendly. Historic Hotel has tour groups stop in front constantly, so cool. Learned a lot just sitting on the balcony. Be forewarned - balcony suites are a bit loud at night, but that's why you're there.

Service is definitely not what it has been the last 6 years that we have stayed here. Next year we will definitely stay somewhere else. Front desk staff was not friendly at all, always was able to get water from the front desk and had friendly staff. This time they acted like it was a burden to check you in and would only give you one water at a time.

I had the best 3 night/4 day stay at this hotel celebrating my husband's surprise 50th Birthday. Great location to Bourbon street, the French Market and Jackson Square. Erica at the front desk was super helpful throughout our stay as well as the Doormen. Breakfast was Delicious and we had a blast at the Bourbon O Bar!! I even had cupcakes delivered before I arrived and Erica made sure to keep them cool until dinner time

I stayed during Christmas. The staff was great. The price wasn’t worth the room though. They told me my total was $205. But they added an additional charges they told me nothing about. The towels are rough. Toothpaste was still in the sink. It was actually a very pretty hotel. But not worth what they are charging. It cost me $294.60 total. The bed is really hard. I could have stayed at a Merriot and had a much better experience. I stayed here because I would be close to the French quarter. But after I visited the French Quarter I found other hotels I much would have rather stayed at. Just do

Great hotel and in the perfect location! We stayed in a room with a balcony right on Bourbon Street which was a lot of fun but also loud so if you want a little more quiet ask for an inside room. They also recommended Shawn as our shuttle service (had 7 people in our party) who was great! He was on time, easy to communicate with, provided a little history on the hotel. Ask for his number!

We stayed here for 5 days and it was amazing. The staff is truly amazing! The doormen and beyond what you would expect i never touched a door in this hotel or my bags once. David was exceptional and a true professional. The hotel is older and smaller but its worth it. The pool is heated and gorgeous. It's close enough to bourbon street to see the action but far enough that it's quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you all for a wonderful time!

Beautiful hotel. The location was excellent. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Would stay here again.
Only complaint — our room was SO TINY. I booked a standard room, 1 queen bed. There was barely enough room to walk along the sides of the bed. My husband and I stayed in the room and we had 2 pieces of luggage. We had to walk over them because there was no where to put them. I’ve never seen such a tiny hotel room. Thankfully we didn’t plan to be in the room much anyways.

Very enjoyable experience. The customer service was 5 star and recommend staying in the Hotel. Its a very safe and clean environment. I had minor issues such as, the coffe maker in my room was missing a piece of hardware. The phone I used in my room was for another room number and the Hotel missed out on a sale. Since I was a tourist in the French Quarter I wanted to purchase a few bath robes (High Quality) for the family back home. The Hotel had none in stock. I also didn't see any ghosts or scary stuff. But the Hotel alone is very beautiful and well maintained. I will definitely come back.

Non refundable rooms. Can't change dates or even get a credit. Do not come here unless you want them to steal your money. What a terrible business!

My fiance ended up being stuck in New Orleans during Hurricane Ida and we stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel for 5 nights instead of 2 as we had planned. When the hurricane hit, the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful with extending our stay, making sure we had flashlights and water, etc. The next day, after the hurricane, we attempted to go to the airport, but soon learned that all flights were still canceled and we were essentially "stuck" in New Orleans. Not sure what to do, we returned to the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and they were so accommodating, letting us stay there for 3

Absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful. The location is perfect. The room was clean and everything was in working order. But, it’s the staff that made Bourbon Orleans such a wonderful experience. Every person we encountered was pleasant and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel this summer. The rooms were perfectly clean and cool. The location could not be better and it was very quiet despite all the activity going on Bourbon Street. The staff were so friendly and helpful, following all Covid safety protocols.
We highly recommend this hotel snd will definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite places to stay in New Orleans. We were just there for my daughter's 21st birthday, and The ladies at the front fest were very helpful. We told

Keyiana is the best! We told her what we were celebrating, and she set us up with two amazing rooms, and was able to get us an early check-in.

Monique was very helpful and nice too!

My only complaint is that the restaurant was closed due to COVID, and there was no hot coffee in the morning.

Other than that, the states couldn't have been better.

Perfect location for French Quarter touring. Comfortable and spacious room. Easy to stumble home after a night at the clubs. Very short on hotel staff. Poor attendant at the front desk had to handle nearly everything from check-in to providing coffee & cups in the morning (housekeeping neglected to do anything except straighten bed sheets). TV was not available for 2 days (local cable outage?). NOLA still struggling to get on its feet.

I paid the Bourbon Orleans Hotel 757.10 deposit in March of 2020 for a stay over the holidays in December, 2020. Due to the pandemic the Hotel was closed. They have not and apparently will not refund my deposit. They say it takes up to 120 days. I suspect they do not have enough funds and are in financial straits. Why else would they take 120 days to reverse a credit card charge. This conduct is outrageous. Buyer beware. Where there is smoke there is fire. You have been warned. Do business with these people at your own peril.

We had a three night stay here on our visit to NOLA. The only issue I had was with our check-in. With an early check-out I was hoping our room would be ready for us at 3 when we arrived. Unfortunately, our room was not ready for an hour past check-in time. The staff offered us a drink ticket to the bar and we left our luggage and walked around town.

Our room was a two floor balcony suite. The view from the balcony was of the back of the church in Jackson Square. Not a bad sight when you're enjoying your morning coffee. The streets were far enough away that the sound was not disruptive

All hotel employees were fantastic with taking care of us in upcoming bad weather (tropical storm Barry)!
All roads were flooded! Regardless that service elevator was not working they keep this hotel operational. Btw, we were forced to stay inside our hotel (streets were flooded). We ordered food service (restaurant had long line to wait to be seated): Beignets and coffee. Their Beignets were much better (fluffy) then the famous ones at Cafe Du Mond. Thank you Bourbon Oreleans hotel. Also this hotel has fantastic location, walking distance to any New Orleans French Quarter attractions and places

Truly fantastic location that really can't be beat. A skip away from Jackson Square and a step outside the door from Bourbon St. Super convenient place to rest between all of the action.

Strong wifi, welcoming staff, and free coffee available most of the day.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and is a wee bit old. Bathrooms do maintain humidity, especially since it's the Gulf Coast, but there's a little bathroom ventilator.

The only catch with Bourbon Orleans is that it gets exceptionally pricey, but if you have four people, it should be alright during peak season. (Except Mardi

Fantastic from start to end!
Loved the location right in the heart of the big easy!
Valet folks were very welcoming as they are the first face you see along with the bell boy. Both welcoming. $40 a night for valeting because parking is scarce.

Upon entering the hotel, you feel like you've been transported back into time as the lobby is decorated in an antique way. Simply gorgeous. There is a bar connected to the hotel if you don't want to venture to far.

Our room was clean and the ac worked just fine. The bed is comfortable and there were plenty of towels.
