Visited NOPSI Hotel to have Christmas Brunch. I was unimpressed, the menu was very limited and our waitress was horrible. She was not attentive, at no time did she ask if everything was okay. Fortunately, another waitress assigned to other patrons checked on our table multiple times.
The hostess Trina was friendly and welcoming.

We found this place while looking for wedding venues, and while the dates didn't quite work (the reception hall is BEAUTIFUL), we still chose to use the hotel as our primary room block for the wedding. We knew we liked the hotel from when we first viewed it, the rooms were beautiful and pretty spacious, and the lobby was excellent for having people gather. Not to mention the incredible rooftop and views of the french quarter and superdome. The please surprise, however, was the staff. From the moment we pulled up, Jeff at the check-in counter and Kevin at the door to help us with our luggage

We loved most of our experience here. We enjoyed the nod to the history of the building being a bank in it's former life. Great corner suite that was only missing a few essentials. The staff was nice.
The bartender in the restaurant did not know how to make an Old Fashioned. We were going to stay for supper but got a weird vibe, so went to Cure.

Overall: did not live up to expectations for price point (especially on a Sunday night in off season, so one of the lowest prices they have)

Check in and amenities: there is a $23 resort fee on top of the nightly rate and taxes. They give you two free drinks tickets so I am assuming that is what it covers because we were not informed of any other amenities. We got to the bar for our drinks and while looking at the menu I saw the bartender pour the lady next to us a glass of white wine. I asked for the same. He poured mine in a plastic to go cup. I asked for a wine glass instead, thinking he misunderstood

A Surprise

I'd seen the exterior of the NOPSI Hotel a few times and it was ecstatically pleasing. I'd seen a news bit about how it was a black owned property. I knew I had to try it.

NOPSI was simply the best hotel experience I've had in NOLA. When you enter the lobby it's beautiful and spacious. The soft lighting and pastel colors are very relaxing. The 804 square foot king suite was only $200 per day off-peak. The room was spacious and copied the lobby's esthetic. It was a beautiful space to wake up in.

Public Service restaurant was also a pleasant surprise. The bone

Okay i will start off saying I worked in this building when it was NOPSI and it was a pleasure staying in the hotel now that i am retired. The place has been converted into a gorgeous hotel but still with NOPSI flavor

The bed was extremely convertible and plush. the decor simply marvelous darling.

The staff was so friendly yet professional from the moment i stepped through the door

i ventured on the rooftop but it was chilly and everything was closed. Upon checking in they gave me two drink tickets as a result, I spent the evening with the bartenders who were super friendly. The crowd at

After years of staying at the Le Pavillon, we decided to start trying out other places. We've tried Hotel Monteleone, Omni, The Saint, Royal Sonesta and the gorgeous Roosevelt and none impressed more than our stays at NOPSI.

Not only is the lobby gorgeous but the rooms are fabulous and the staff keeps on impressing us with any requests or even to resolve any issues we have had.

One issue we did have was when we were given an impressive room but it was over a conference/ballroom and was a bit noisy with a function they had going on. With no excuses, they apologized and moved us to an even

As a Site/Civil Contractor in Florida, I have the habit of my eyes looking at things that other people wouldn't even think of along the roadways, like placement of light poles, handicap ramps, uneven/slopped sidewalks, drainage inlets and of course utility manholes... just about every street I've come across over the years has a manhole with the name (acronym) "NOPSI" casted into the iron manhole covers; wasn't hard to figure out it was "New Orleans Public Service Inc" which provided all the utilities for New Orleans (better know as Entergy New Orleans today)

I really enjoyed my stay here! It’s conveniently located near Bourbon and Canal St which means that a lot of outings are walkable. I loved the rooftop bar and pool, although I did not get in the pool. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, allowing me to check in early to make things more convenient for me. The room I had (Junior Suite) was very spacious and that mattress is amazing! I slept very well during my stay.
My only issue is the room was kinda “dark”. The lights were turned on but it still didn’t feel bright enough in the room. It’s a small issue though, and it doesn’t

TVs froze constantly which the engineering team blamed on Cox communications, gave up and didn't fix for our 3 day stay. Pool was closed early with staff saying "it's supposed to close at 9 but there's no way I'm staying that late". The front guest store sold us sunscreen that expired a year and half ago at the beginning of the pandemic. Turns out all the items were expired and had never been checked. Beautiful building terrible experience.

Great experience. Enjoyed the ambiance, the rooftop bar and lounge. Concierge was very helpful and directed us to great restaurants and other attractions in the central business district on and near Canal street. Enjoyed our anniversary weekend for the second time and may just make it an annual trip. Strong recommend.

Nice hotel, but don't expect ANY customer service. They are extremely short staff. I stayed 3 nights here. Not many places in N.O have a pool, that's why I chose this hotel. They literally have NO STAFF. Fridge wasn't working, I requested a different one, didn't get it for 2 days. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS, literally! I asked for towels Over and Over, never got them. I had to walk thee halls, and find a cart, to get towels. No clean towels for pool, they didn't have staff to wash them. The restaurants are CLOSED. You can get breakfast from 7-11 only, after that, you have to

We decided to extend our stay in new orleans for one night and decided to stay at another hotel so we booked NOPSI. I wish we had booked this hotel for our entire week stay!
They gave us 2 free drink tickets when we checked in -to use at the bar they had in the lobby which was pretty cool.
The lobby is really nice, has that older feel to it. the rooms were clean (yay!) loveddd the bathroom, spacious and nice shower. The front desk was able to give us free bottles of water so that was nice of them. Front desk was friendly. They have the voodoo chips in the gift store there, love those damn voodoo

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. The rooms were huge, everything was clean, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly. Roy, the concierge man, made our trip all the better. He spent a good 10 minutes giving us the rundown of all things NOLA. Because of him, we knew where to go, what to eat, attractions to see, etc. We got the Junior King Suite and it was impressive. The walk to Bourbon Street was around 5 minutes - just enough to where the surrounding area of our hotel was quiet. I will definitely be staying here again for my next trip to New Orleans, and I can't wait!

Loved it! New Orleans has something special about and so this hotel does!
I was visiting New Orleans and needed to find a descent hotel. I chose Nopsi hotel for its price and beautiful interior.
My stay was great! I loved the spacious room, rooftop hotel and cafe downstairs. The small minus was attitude of some front desk workers... Some of them were snobby and not helpful. However, everything else was perfect! Also, I loved it that I could receive bottle of water for free any time I asked.
The location of the hotel was great: I felt I was close to all activities and attractions. The garage

We ended up getting this hotel for a great price. The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious. It was well worth it considering the great price, spacious room, drink vouchers, and complimentary pastries/coffee every morning. The only downside was that the service was just ok. I would still recommend this hotel and will probably stay there the next time I'm in NOLA.

This hotel was interesting by far. I ordered this hotel from priceline so I received a good deal on it. LOL. I think it was $80 a night for me. It was pretty. it did not look bad. Funny but before it was a hotel it was a place where people would come and pay their water bill. So it gave you a bank experience. It look like you were entering a bank instead of a hotel.

The carpet needed cleaning. The hotel could use a few upgrades. The bathrooms were nice and especially the lighting. I took some amazing selfies while I was in there.

Unfortunately I had to call a plumber while I was there. I had

This is a nice hotel. The staff is accommodating. Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is 12:00 pm. Due to our flight schedule they accommodated us with early check in and late check out. Which is such a wonderful cherry on top. Also, they hold your luggage if you don't want to drag it all over town in between check in and check out times. We stayed a total of 5 nights.

House keeping is available during our stay but they charge $30 so we opted out for it. We kept our room tidy and they offer plenty of fresh towels upon request.

Thank you for the free drinks! When checking in at the front

I treated myself to a mini getaway (coronacation) because I wanted to get out of my city. I wanted to stay at a place that was adhering to social distancing/ sanitization guidelines but still had plenty to do. After doing a lot of online research, I decided to check out NOPSI hotel. I stayed for three nights in a junior king suite and was blown away by the size of the room. Hand sanitizer was set up throughout the hotel and distancing indicators were placed in the lobby. Masks were also required which I appreciated.

I loved the lush robe, the two free drink vouchers that I received upon checkin
