Looked beautiful online we got a suit because we have 3 little kids, bay view suite. First they put us in a room that had a view of the huge port-a-potty's and an rv that was parked pretty much directly behind our room. Then the moved rooms the second room was much better very very nice but I'm guessing they upgraded us because they didn't have any extra rooms that was in our price range they do not offer cleaning room service and with 3 little kids that's impossible we had to cal for trash bags and towels everyday we did live it here but for the price I might stay somewhere

A friend was staying here when visiting San Diego from the bay area. Who knew that the restaurant on site would be as delicious as they were. We dined here twice, once for light appetizers/light lunch and the next day for breakfast. The service was great, everyone was hospitable and attentive, the property was clean and the food was delicious, it rivaled many comparable restaurants in San Diego with presentation and flavor. Even if you're not staying here and wanted an easy place to stop in and get food and drinks (they also had a full bar) or you have friends/family visiting and needed

The Bahia is an excellent resort! We have stayed twice and love it. The customer service is very good. The amenities are nice as well. Great food! The one problem I have is they don't clean your room daily. The… reason, purportedly, is due to not having enough housekeeping staff. When you are on vacation (in our case, honeymoon) you don't want to empty garbage and have to ask for more towels, etc. Once they rectify this issue, it will be the best place to stay in Mission Bay!

My husband and our 2 kids stayed at Bahia Resort in August for a getaway from Seattle. Upon arrival they upgraded our room to a larger 1 bedroom suite. However when we got in there we realized the entire back walls of the bedroom and main space were floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors facing the parking lot (ground floor). We resolved to shutting the blinds as it was late and past bedtime for the kids. While we are trying to get them to bed it was so noisy from the outdoor movie (Cars), volume WAY louder than needed. It didn't help that there was a shooting at Belmont Park (a block away

My experience was not as good as I anticipated. It was my birthday and gave us a roomed that sheets weren’t changed they smelled urine . The pillow cases had blood on it. The phone was dirty when I picked it up. I had to clean it. I called and requested a room change and They changed us rooms, but I told them not to put us so far from the… lobby because I couldn’t walk. As I walked to the very back at night it was dark and had push all my luggage in the dark. The room desk smelled like they wiped it down in a wet damp towel. I had clean it my self with Clorox wipes. As much money

Very disappointed. Although the entire hotel staff I met was great, I had a number of issues. My biggest issue was that the hotel did not put out the lounge chairs and umbrellas that guests pay for as part of their stay. I stayed at the Bahia for only one reason, to sit on the beach on the lounge chairs and relax. Instead they rented that space to groups, set up tables, chairs, and umbrella's for meals. The Bahia website advertises the lounge chairs and umbrellas there every day from 10am - 6pm for guests; it's something guests pay for and it's the only reason I chose the hotel and

You can't beat the ocean views and private beach but for $453 a night they need to step up their game. Although the room was immaculately clean, it was dank and needed airing. The furnishings are a mixture decent furniture and appliances in desperate need of updating. The bathroom is tight, dated and in need of a complete remodel. Covid seems to have left them short staffed so no daily housekeeping, which is tough when you're sharing you "suite" with four other people. The saving grace is the location. There's plenty to do and see in and around Mission Beach.

One of the most conveniently located hotels around Mission Beach, this hotel has its own kinks to work out before being a 5 star hotel. The check in process is fairly easy and the staff do not hesitate to make things right with any errors on their part. The cons from our stay include a missing outer flap from the outside of our room window so that it can't block out the sound completely, letting you hear motorcycles on the road around midnight. We also had a random house keeping call delivering pillows at around midnight when they already delivered the pillows we requested earlier in the evening

Disappointed is the only word I have for how I felt about this "resort" hotel. When I booked my room back in June for August the rate I was given over the phone was 296 a night...reasonable for a resort style hotel...reasonable being that I live in San Diego and was only booking this room for the weekend for my daughter's 22nd birthday for her and her girlfriends. Upon check in the price went up and was 386 a night AND there was a extra 30 dollar a day charge for amenities such as use of the pool/jacuzzi and private beach. I've never been charged for use of amenities before

I love this resort. It doesn't have the best room service or anything fancy. It's a comfortable resort with a nice pool and an nice beach. The Bahia Belle is a fun ride to the Catamaran. The location is great.… Close to Sea World and the rollercoaster at Mission Beach. There are plenty of small coves and parks within walking distance too. We come here at least once a year.

My best advice is to avoid this place. WAY overpriced for what you get. This hotel very clearly charges for their proximity to many things to do. The hotel itself is very old and it shows, both outside and in the room.
The check-in process is pretty bad. There are a couple of parking spots near the office, but when those are full, everyone else has to wait in line and/or block the narrow way into the hotel. Coming back after checking out the beach (more on that later) there were a line of cars blocking the way in. They weren't moving so I actually had to drive the wrong way in front of the

3.5 stars. Arrived for check in on Saturday, super easy and quick. They really handle it well, very nice front desk staff. We got super lucky with our room. Very quiet at night and gorgeous views of the bay and sunset. Unfortunately there is no ice in our bulding and we are on the 4th floor at the very end of the hallway so it's a long treck to get ice at guest services by the lobby. We went to unload our drinks into the refrigerator and the last guests food was still in there. :/ We had to call and have it removed, and at that point they disinfected the fridge shelves and outside handle

Hey guys, ok so I've stayed in plenty of hotels at very different price points and I really wanted to love this hotel because the location is ideal but I had some issues and I'll explain. First some pros and cons...
Pros
-Great Location (5/7 mins away from Sea World)
- Private Beach (bay so the water is dirty but let's be real all of CA beaches are) the beach has cabanas and private seating areas which I loved.
- Good views
-easy check-in/check-out experience
Cons
-carpets are dirty, like definitely don't walk barefoot.
-resort is next to public beach/park so it can get

I feel for the ownership/management, this is an older hotel and it's like trying to keep a sinking ship afloat.
I'll start with, our stay was over the 4th of July weekend, Friday, 7/2 - Monday, 7/5. We paid for a "Bay View" Suite. More on that in a bit.
Pros:
1) My kids loved the pool, the playground rock wall, the garden with the ducks (especially the momma and her 2 baby ducks), the seals, and the sight seeing boat ride.
2) The staff is super nice and very, very professional. I cannot stress that enough.
3) Poolside Entertainment was excellent!
4) Cookies/milk

I used to love this place and everything was great except they made me pay for 2 nights and only allowed me to stay one. I was forced to leave and 3 security guards waited until all of my possessions were out of the suite, yes I paid $800 for 1 night and was evicted at 5:30 pm for a room I paid in advance. I was forced to leave and pack up my vehicle with all of my belongings for actions of people I didn't even know. I was unfairly grouped in with people on the premises because of how they dressed. I wasn't asked if I was associated with them, I wasn't asked if they were with

I'm glad we brought our own sheets because this place is grimy. I was hoping we wouldn't need them but brought them just in case because last time we stayed here the room wasn't clean. There was sand all over the bathroom countertop and nightstand. I told the front desk I spent at least an hour cleaning the room & they ended up comping our 1st night of the 4 nights we had stayed so I figured it was just an accident & hopefully wouldn't be the case again. Unfortunately, I was wrong. We gave the Bahia another chance & this time there was sand IN THE SHEETS. The lack

I must say, we enjoyed every little bit of our stay.
Check-in process was fast and friendly. They upgraded our suite with no extra charges. That was amazing! Gave us one of the many great views they have. We were in love, home away from home.
The room is 9/10 only because I like me a hottub lol. But other than that it had everything! The balcony could've been swept for there were little pebbles from the palm tree. It's literally the Hawaii feel, you can definitely relax and enjoy the tranquility the Resort has to offer.
The list of Amenities they have to offer;
1. Heated Pool
2. Tennis

I'm so happy that we picked such a great hotel! Everything was amazing from the view, service, amenities the resort offers and so much more. They have seals on the property and feedings you can watch at 9 am and 2 pm daily. They have a private area for the beach. There's a tennis court and playground for kids. We had a bay view and it was really nice and the room itself was so nice and clean. There was so much space in the room. We will definitely be staying here for all San Diego trips. All of the employees were so nice and accommodating with anything we needed.

Did someone say staycation......
Yup, yup. Where better than here. It's almost like a little taste of Maui in San Diego. I can say that because well I've been to Maui and just this resort gives me a little tease of just that.
I can see why someone would want to get married here, engaged, throw parties, etc you name it! This is the place.....and I'm not a BEACH person but the ambiance this place provides is just so romantic & dream like to be honest.
I think my favorite part is the walkways to and from the pool to your room or to the beach or car basically the luscious green
