Award Winning, Employee-Owned Dupont Circle Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in Washington, DC. The Tabard Inn in downtown Washington, DC is not your typical hotel. Our 100 year old boutique hotel encompassing three Victorian townhouses features 35 unique floorplans, each with their own style and stories, and combines old world charm with modern amenities.
What is common is our professional, attentive staff and unmatched hospitality. Our story is as unique as our hotel. During our rich history, we've seen and heard a few things. We survived the Great Depression. During World War II, we served as the home of the Navy Women Accepted Volunteer Services (WAVES).

Services
Please be specific with any requests or needs when reserving, note that there are no elevators in the building. The specific rooms in each category will be assigned the night before your arrival. All of our facilities are non-smoking, including our guest rooms, lounge, restaurant, and patio. In keeping with the unique character of the Tabard Inn, the rooms do not have televisions.
Our private event rooms follow in the style of the Tabard Inn Hotel. Fireplaces, carved moldings, hardwood floors with area rugs, Victorian colors, and period furniture adorn our rooms. Please keep in mind that these rooms are located on the second floor of this historic building and are not handicapped accessible; please consider this if any of your guests have difficulty with stairs.
As the Tabard Inn has no parking itself, and finding a parking spot in downtown Washington can be quite a challenge, we urge you and your guests to use public transportation whenever possible. Metered spaces line N Street in front of the Hotel and are diligently enforced until 10:00 PM. There are commercial parking lots in the area.

Hotel experience started out great…..for one night. The hotel is very quaint and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and each one unique. The buildings history alone is enough to make the stay interesting. We came to enjoy our anniversary weekend.
However, they are so focused on making a quick buck that they don’t really care about their other clients. Our second night there, we got back to our room after 9pm and found a letter that was slipped under our door that said the restaurant was closed that evening due to a private event. No further information. As we settled in our room we noticed music

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down.
We loved this hotel!! The staff was amazing- very nice and helpful. The room was perfect, big and a little quirky, everything was quiet. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar as well. Great location. We can’t wait to stay again soon!!

When I say this is my new favorite hotel restaurant and experience. Incredible location. The rooms are so charming, the attached restaurant has an incredible menu (shoutout to Jose for being so welcoming and craft cocktail wizard), and the reception staff are exceptional. Akilah is second to none - kind, hospitality professional, and was so helpful. This is my new favorite place to stay when in DC. If I could give 6 stars I would because the employees make this place extra magical. Highly recommend.

The staff was tremendous. Super friendly and helpful. Had a minor issue with my room as a radiator had a small leak. The maintenance and housekeeping staff fixed and had it resolved within an hour. The manager of the hotel also came and checked and was most generous in giving me two free nights. I love this place and will always come back here as the restaurant and food is 5 star. The hotel is also pet friendly which I will take advantage of next time. Again, this is the best kept secret in Dupont area as the hotel is historical and the rooms are very uniquely decorated. Thank you again for an

The best biscuits and honey in the city for sure, the ambiance is extraordinary and unlike any other place filled with art and a beautiful courtyard! This place is a well hidden gem known mostly by locals. The corned beef hash is also amazing, as is most of the food. Parking is difficult but definitely worth coming to the restaurant.
