This hotel was immaculate! My husband and I went down for New Years and it was spacious and comfortable in the room. Food at the Firefly was delicious during brunch and the staff was so sweet and helpful! E was the door man and valet and he was so nice and courteous! I plan on coming here in the future for all our adult get aways!

From the first phone call before I made the reservation to the check out, this hotel and staff has been nothing but first class! I called the hotel before I booked with Expedia and spoke with Maggie and told her it was my wife's birthday on Saturday and I wanted her to have a great time. Maggie and her staff went well beyond the call of duty to make this trip special. We arrived Thursday night and checked out Sunday morning! The hotel staff was warm and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, with high-end finishes and gorgeous scenery! The beds were very comfortable and the shower was so nice. We enjoyed and made use of the desk and chair. And the best part was the access to chrome cast!! So, we got to watch a couple of our favorite shows :) And finally, when the valet had a little incident while bringing our car around, the hotel manager removed our parking charges as compensation for the incident. So, we were grateful for that.

I stayed at this location during my October vacation. When we arrived our room was ready which a welcomed surprise after a long early flight. The room was clean spacious and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. We received our waters everyday with the amenity package. The guest services were so welcoming and sweet. The in room robes came in so perfectly on those few cold nights. But I loved the security they had there. Very safe feeling and experienced. I have already recommended this location to my family and friends and it's on my list when I travel to DC from now on.

Our company has a rate deal with this hotel. I wasn't sure about staying here because of some of the negative reviews, but my stay was excellent. I am told the hotel may have gone under recent renovations, and it shows! Very private hotel in a great location. Staff was wonderful, gym was serviceable, and the room was fantastic! One of the best rooms in the DC area that I have ever stayed in - spacious, updated, large tv with the ability to use Chromecast, great shower...just wonderful. The only weird thing was that I needed my toilet unclogged and I was given a plunger to do it myself, which I

This is, by far, one of the BEST hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff (especially E) is amazing! They're extra attentive, they're knowledgeable and they're beyond accommodating. The balcony suite is awesome and the cocktail "party" in the evening is a perfect touch. We can't wait to come back! 5 stars isn't enough!

Very clean hotel and the staff was so amazingly friendly. I am giving 4 stars just because the food at their restaurant was disgusting and for the price you do expect a little bit more glam. My room was on the warm side and the elevator was hell's kitchen. With that being said I'd still go back and give them my money. They also were extremely kind to my dog raven.

My stay at Madera was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Antoine who surprised us with a bottle of Champagne for our anniversary. They offer free cocktails at the restaurant downstairs at happy hour and they were real cocktails lol not watered down at all. I loved the modern decor in our room which was so clean. I would recommend and stay here again.

This was a business trip. The hotel staff made it feel more like a pleasure trip. The hotel was beautiful, clean,spacious and the food at firefly was delicious. You can walk to several restaurants and enjoy the balcony views if you choose to stay in. Front desk staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Our valets and bell men E and antwon were more than eager to assist in all things luggage and car related. We will stay here from now on for all our business/pleasure trip needs.
