I lived at a 606 Realty managed property for a few years in the Avondale area. Kurt was always responsive to my requests and any repairs needed were taken care of. I have fond memories of living in that space and recommend staying in a 606 Realty managed building.

Awesome company with excellent communication skills. Max and the 606 team managed my multi unit building for a couple of years up until I recently sold it and, from day one, they were fantastic. Throughout that entire time, they were responsive, professional, timely and on top of everything that comes with managing a building. By far, the best management company I've ever used. No question is too small. As an out of town owner, you really need to feel like your management company is on top of things and I felt that way about 606 the entire time. Highly recommended!

606 Realty has been managing my multi-unit rental property for the past 4 years in the West Ravenswood area. Under 606’s management I have 24-7 access to the income, expenses and other books and records for the property. I never had a tenant complain and I never incurred unreasonable costs or expenses for maintaining the property. The company increased my income and reduced my expenses. 606 has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend 606.

I recommend staying far away from 606. I am on the board of a Homeowners Association and the previous board began a management contract with this company late last year. In January I was voted into the board and the company was absolutely horrible to work with.
The biggest issue boiled down to unprofessionalism and unresponsiveness. Max did a terrible job at responding to the requests from the board of directors, there were dozens of simple requests that were not responded to. Most of the board's time was spent sending follow up emails to Max's non-responsiveness or calling the office

606 Realty is by far the most unprofessional management company I've experienced in my 24 years of renting and owning homes in Chicago. The previous board of our condo association hired 606 Realty to manage our property. I was elected onto the board 3 months into 606's tenure and it was immediately clear how uncooperative 606 Realty - and its owner Max Shreffler - is. Max was highly unresponsive to owners' requests and the requests of the board. The board kept an ongoing list of items sent to Max to handle as our property manager, many of which were never completed or even responded

606 was the management company for our association for several months. In this short time it became apparent very quickly that they were non-responsive to resident's emails and phone calls. They failed to pay bills for the association. We are still finding out about unpaid bills two months after closing our account with them. We had difficulty receiving our money from our checking account from them after we were no longer involved with them.
I gave them one star only because Yelp requires a rating.

I give Coleen (the lady that works the front desk), Richard (the maintenance man for my building) and John (the real estate agent I worked with) five stars. I give the property itself four stars. I give Max (the head honcho of the company and doesn't he know it) one star and only because that's as low as I can go.
